Review:

Alliance once by the holiest of oaths, Six kingdoms stood firm against the rising empire of the west. But something ate at their trust and they soon started to suspect one another. The emperor who learned of this change in their relationship, used it to plot against them.

It was the high time to train the best of his subordinates and to covenant some of the kingdoms against the others.

Trust was lost and each country blamed the other for treason.

Yet when war has finally broke out, the six were joined once again and the Empire had no choice but to withdrew to the borders of it's island once again.

However, peace was a mere illusion to the common folks and the real scam began to progress.

Who was this illness that wished to destroy all that was important? What would it gain from it? Will we be able to confront this madness before it's too late?

It's basicly one head spear which can be attached with another headblade at the other edge of the hilt.

Special Abilities: Have some healing abilities, but they aren't great as healers'. She has some holy based spells and can use mionr light based attacks such as blinding her foes. However she is currently refusing to develop her holy powers above what she has now.
Job: Paladin. Rank: Captain.
Likes: Justice.
Dislikes: Destruction, war, vulgar men.
Persona: cold and calculated. She can get annyoed pretty fast but she won't be tricked into fighting for nothing. She is very wise and has a strong maternal senses.

Brief History: Raised as a Paladin, Helena learned from early age the art of war and healing. She had passed difficult and rough trainings to become what she is today and as part of the holy order she took the vow of forever being loyal to her supervisors and the god.

Her ability to heal hasn't improve, even after growing stronger. Some say that because of her cold nature she wasn't able to fully develop her holy abilities, yet some think it was because her faith in god wasn't complete.

She lost her father in the last war during her training and stopped developing holy powers ever since. Her mother had it worst as she grow mentally ill. Since then High Priest, Tik-Va, took both her and her mother under his wings.

Review:

The War of the Gods nearly destroyed all life on the planet. It was particularly brutal upon the peoples on the continent of Eras where much of the war was fought. It drove the Dwarven people to extinction and was the beginning of the end for the Race of Elves– who died a long, slow death after the war. It was only through their extraordinary numbers and tenacity that Humans managed to survive, though it took thousands of years to recover their former numbers.

When the Father of the Gods, Tirus, and the Gods who remained loyal to him, beat back their traitorous kin, Tirus imprisoned the 7 Demons in inescapable domains. Afterward Tirus, not wanting to cause another war of such destruction, and the remaining Gods left Eras, thinking that their siblings were trapped for eternity.

That was until Tiernon– known in Eras only as the mythical Elf That Shall Not Be Named and trapped in the Domain of Thoth- found a way to escape the hellish prison. Tiernon was the last of the Elves and now almost completely Demonic himself. In finding a way free he gave Thoth– and thus the rest of the Demon Lords– a chance of escaping their prisons to resume their War for the universe. While the Demon Lord's can not leave their domains yet they have managed to send their many of their minions back to Eras to begin their work and search for the one thing that will free them from torment.

The Book of Demons.

The Book of Demons is wrapped in legend and myth, a source of power from the Gods themselves, though where it is and even whether it exists at all is hotly debated by scholars throughout the known world. But now, with the impending threat of the Demon Lords return, King Spiros of Noelael has no choice but to find a group of capable men and women to attempt a daring mission. It's a race against time, and the Demon Lords, to find the mythical Book of Demons and stop them gaining the power to come back to Eras and finish what they started.

Equipment: Gwyn carries a large wooden staff with orb attached to increase her magical powers, but she also carries other gems and rings, each can increase elemental powers, or summon elemental being for a very limited and short while.

She also carries few blank scrolls and ink to write and enchant stuff.

Personality: She acts proud and arrogant and tends to jump into actions before fully considering other options. Some, however, know that her behavior serves as self protect. She is actually very kind but she was taught from early age to hide weakness and fear. Aside from that she is very sharp and quick to learn and can pull others to follow her lead.

History: Gwyn belongs to the clan known as "Qumran". To few outsiders the clan is known as the "silver mages order", since their outfits, their gears, and their trademark of Icon is made of silver or has a color to match it. They have strong Sorcerers in their ranks, but they serve only as scouts or spies. The clan is also made out of warriors and simple people.

Gwyn is a bastard daughter of two outsiders, the mother said to be of noble blood. She was raised by people from the clan and she considered them as her parents even after she learned the truth at a very late age (around the time she was 20 years old).

Gwyn always felt different and considered herself special to make up for the fact she was not easy to be liked by others. She always thought destiny had better cards for her to play, and around the age of ten she started to deal with the art of magic and it quickly became a second nature to her and it didn't took long for her to excel in it.

Much later on, around the age of 23, when her powers were at the peak, she was enrolled to the "Mission squad" and started to travel the land as apprentice, but since she was not blood born to the clan, and was very easy to get angry she wasn't fully informed about her work, and wasn't allowed to climb at the ladder of ranks. She hated this, never understanding the full meaning of the education they wished her to have and thought of it as personal hatred.

It was around her 7th and most important job that she decided to change her route in life. After the job was done she decided to have some time alone, never fully getting used to the simple way of her clan's life. They always kept to themselves, never talked much about what they did, and after every mission they would lie down in killing silence.

At the street she came across a fortuneteller. She didn't believe the old woman to actually be able to see her fate, but she was blind and seemed rather a nice person to have some talk with. After drinking tea the woman took her hands and started to speak in a very unusual voice, that almost resemble a male's one. She told her that she would turn her back to everything that was her life until now, and will be needed to head for Noelael to seek her true path in life, since she is one of the chosen.

The idea of a "chosen" was lovely to Gwyn, and on the next morning she parted, never telling her comrades where she was heading or even considering her family's opinion on it. They chased her; some were close at drawing their blades at her but held by the group leader who warned her that should she interfere with their ways that she would not be spared next.

With that in mind she set to meet the king of Noelael, seeking his guidance and offering her aid, as" the betrayer of the Qumran".

Review:

The world is in peril. Humans, Arlisians, Martyrdom & Maim, and even Specters are at each other throats prepared to kill one another for land disputes and magical property. It doesn't help that civil unrest and outright rioting is happening through out all kingdoms, and probably worst of all is the Defaced.

A Disease caused by gluttonous greed and lust for powers tainted magic, creating a disease that now spreads from person to person as easily as the Black Death, and is much more fatal. The Disease is essentially a magical poisoning within one's body that turns the victim into a beast neither Human or Demon, but some weird mix of both. The people of the land call them the Defaced.

The Defaced are trying to collect rare and powerful artifacts of a sinister nature for some devious device. No one knows what they are trying to build and no one knows why they are building it. We do have clues however and we assume that the Defaced are building a device to start, and end, a war. People die mysteriously and are never seen again. At the core of what they are building is probably the biggest key to the puzzle.

The Oracles heart, said to have potent magical composition that is so powerful it can even chance destiny. Now the kingdoms know that this heart is dangerous, so they aren't going to risk bringing it back to the Kingdoms. Instead they are taking it away from the defaced and destroying it the moment they get it.

But the kingdoms need heroes, willing sacrifices ready to march into the maw of hell and return triumphant, or not at all. But how do the kingdoms get heroes? When none of the races want to work with one another? Its your job, representatives of the races to show that the kingdoms can work together.

More or less what I had in mind.

Her skin is blue with some drops of silver which is considered rare and beautiful for female of their clan. Azure eyes and something that can be regarded as hair in the color of red.

Personality:

The clan of the Maim could really care less about things such as philosophy or religions. They value information and knowledge and sometimes when they research they can even cross limits known as “morals” or “conscience”. They don't do it out of evil nature, but out of pure curiosity that can never be quieten.

They can get excited easily, but quickly move on to search for something else; like a child that is given a toy... Before he breaks it and ask for a new one.

They can link their minds together and because of this ability they act and think as one entity. It's rare for them to develop self awareness, but Galit appears to have some self thoughts, yet her thinking is still very limited.

She cannot hope to understand the worries that the future holds in and cannot understand the pain of death or of losing someone close. To the Maim, all that is important is knowledge, not feelings.

The Maim have strong resonating to others. They know when the others around them are sad or in pain, but cannot understand it. They will try lame efforts to make the others feel better, like a child that will give his toy to adult, hoping to cheer him up, not understanding the real source of the pain, or that some stuff cannot be solved easily.

Galit isn't reacting to things around her because she doesn't understand most of them. That is why she can be seen as nonchalant. Truth is, once she understands something she can bring out emotions and reactions one would never expect to see from her.

Tend to talk very little if at all.

Weapon:

Crossbow, smoke bombs, bowie knife, drats and throwing stars (of course, add to that other things she can make out of raw materials)

Abilities:

Speed of flight- She can run very fast for a short while. This burst of speed allow her to avoid near danger or battles. The Maim are not found of conflicts and would rather flee then to attack. She can even jump far or high if it will help her escape. She can also create a voice that can paralyze enemy for about 2-3 seconds, which gives her the needed time to run.

One Entity- Under water, she, like the others from her clan, capable to linking their minds with others nearby and pass thoughts and ideas from one another. Maybe that's the reason why the Maim tend to talk very little.

Maim's Clan Body skills- They can see far better then other clans, even under water and have excellent earing. She can breath underwater and her scaly and webbed hands are used for handling life undersea.

Equipment:

Sketch-book, ink, tubes, tweezers, potions.

History:

Not much to say about a life that can be defined as one drop in the ocean. Sometimes the water tremor and that's when the source that created the first wave is aware of its self.

All her life she was soaked in the information she had received about what she needed to know: the knowledge of how to work and what to make.

She was needed to be part of something big and great, nothing more, nothing less. In life such as this you tend to forget yourself, to forget you even exist because of what you are and who you are.

But then... It happened...

Without really knowing why or understanding how, she was aware. She knew for the first time that she wanted to have a side in her that was to be hers alone.

At that moment it felt like she was being divided from a warm cradle. However, as she was “tossed” outside, she realized that her safe home was nothing more then a prison while the new world is unknown and mysterious.

Her inner curiosity took over and that's basically what's leading her onward. Once you take the first step outside, it's hard for a creature such as her to go back and the need to learn was growing stronger each day. The book of her life held empty pages that needed to be filled. She knew that only by advancing she can learn more about her past and future.

Review:

Tuol-Rakath is a vile world. Rivers run red with blood and a countless sea of bones litter the ground as far as the eye can see. Once grand cities, bustling with life, towered above the land but now lay in ruins. What remains of the great races- Humans, Elves and Dwarfs- are nothing more than a shadow of their former selves. Those that chose not to die fighting Bael are now mere slaves in the apocalyptic Tuol-Rakath, having been ground under the foot of The Dark One and his 4 Lieutenants.

For hundreds of years Bael has ruled with his unnatural power and with no leash, his 4 Lieutenants have been free to crush any hope and spirit that dare rises against The Dark One with brutal efficiency and power.

Now a rebellion is rising.

This isn't the first attempt to stop Bael and his rule though. Many have tried to wage war against The Dark One. All have failed. But a small part of the rebellion has always survived – even when the entire resistence has been destroyed, the Slaves have always retained one thing - Hope. Desire has always remained amongst the races of the world that the monster will one day be brought to his knees and peace and freedom will no longer be just a faint dream.

This latest incarnation of the Rebellion is different though. One way or another this will be the last one. Bael's latest plan will take away the free-will every slave on the planet once and for all, leaving The Dark One to rule for the rest of eternity with no opposition. Little is known about his plan, but one thing is certain: He must be stopped. There will be no more chances. No more Hope. No more Rebellion.

In one last ditch effort to stop him the latest incarnation of the Rebellion will do the unthinkable– stir up the slaves in an all-out war against Bael's army. And amongst them– a small group of men and women are tasked with the ultimate assignment. Stop Bael and bring peace to the world.

Or destroy it completely.

Name: Anath Aden

Age: 135, physical appearance comparable to a human in her early to mid twenties

Race: Elf

Occupation: Assassin for the rebellion (in training)

Appearance: Anath is a bit shorter then Bryna (Barely noticed) and has shorter black hair that don't even reach her shoulders (From choice. She cuts her hair each time she gets too emotional). Anath's face won't stay without expression (unlike her sister), which might create new look to her each time her expression changes from grin to anger. Aside of that, she and her sister look so much alike that one would consider them as clones at first glance.

Equipment: Anath uses Claws type of weapons shaped like Katars. She is more into close combat, but she would also use crossbow she can swiftly equipped into her right hand and shoot from afar.

Personality: Bryna and Anath represent the elements of fire and water, each in her own way. They both can change and be furious when situation demands, but for Anath, the changes of emotions are far more obvious. She has a big mouth for an elf and will always talk back, even when it may cost her dearly. Little do people know that this was actually her way to deal with her inner fears. She is very protective and attached to her sister. She might hurt someone just because he looked at Bryna in inappropriate way. She gets excited while fighting and enjoys a good battle. She also hates to run away from a fight. Yet, despite her outgoing nature, no one really understands her aside from her twin.

History: Anath was born into slavery serving a human family with her twin and their mother. They always worked hard and had little time to rest. In these precious spare time of freedom, however, where the twins were finally left alone with their mother, they would often hear her blubbering nonsense about them all being royalty. Anath never gave it too much meaning unlike her sister, who at first shared her opinion about it, however when her mother died she saw how Bryna started to live the tale and gather her power and might from it. Anath however was always kind to her sister and never showed her what she thought about it. Years passed on and their life could be considered normal (as normal as labor and suffering can be) until the old master got all crazy and demanded the two to give blood to him along with his wine and food. Anath's marks from being cut healed quicker then Bryna and she always hated to see the damaged arm of her sister, swearing that when she would be strong enough she wouldn't allow anyone to hurt her sister again.

The old man had three sons and once they were old enough, they used the twins as practice dolls for violence acts. Anath and Bryna grew strong from it too as they used the time now to practice too (in secret) but the mental scars were visible. Some years later an event took place that changed their lives forever. The sons drank too much and acted too strange. They attacked the two the moment the elder brother reached to grab Anath, but the two fought back before anything happened to the girls. Bryna attacked the elder while Anath stroke the two other boys.

Soaked with blood, hatred, ecstasy and somewhat fear, the two ran away from the house, never looking back. They were found by the rebellion and joined up, hoping to seek their revenge.

Review:

Eons ago, a huge war broke out in the world against the forces of good and evil. Devils fought against Angels, each with the goal of bringing about their own world. In this world though was a third group that fought as well. Humans that were granted mystical powers due to the influx of divine and hellish energies practice bringing their new gifts to new heights. For some, it was to protect their homes or people; for others, to understand the world around them. When the war had reached its pentacle, humans sided with the heavens to send the evil that threatened to destroy them back to the deepest pits of hell, never to return. In the end, humanity was at the brink of extinction, with some undergoing a transformation due to their bodies taking in too much energy. As the heavens rebuilt the world and repopulated it, those that survived were at a crossroads in their lives. For some, they hid themselves from the new humans that now roamed the world, ensuring none would discover them while maintaining vigilance for rising evil or mystical energies. For those who were ‘altered’, they created a new world for themselves with the knowledge they obtained so they could live in peace.
Months turned to years, and years to millenniums, and the ancient war is lost within the mists of time. The mystical energies, known to some as magic, chi, or mana, only remain within literature as a fantasy. The only evidence to such a past is the different hair color and eyes of those now living. However, history is a wheel, and when events are forgotten, they tend to be repeated. The signs are here, hidden amongst the populous; humans with gifts to use these mystical energies. For some, they hide the fact that they have these gifts, for others, they try to use them for good despite being called ‘heretics’. Within these people are those whose acts alone will start another event as big as the lost war of past, and with this event, a life-changing experience for all…

Personality: She is rational and caring, the type of person to smile whenever she can, but will know when to set the limits.
Brief History: Her family has always shared a close link with the Shires, mostly because of their intrest in the relics of old. When Alex was 10 a maid was cleaning and ended up breaking some kind of a gem. Alex woke up about two days later, all bandaged, remembering nothing of what happened. All the people apart of her, have died that day, and Alex herself felt a change. Ever since that day she is carrying within her a will to return to a place, but she herself doesn't know where to. She also obtained magical power and asked Reuo Shire to help her to train in it. She developed feelings for him soon after.

Appearance: A bit short, about 1.59 (get teased a lot by it), have shoulder length black hair and black eyes.
Personality: Claire is very tough, fiery, independent and outspoken, Albeit tomboyish. She will not hold back on her words nor on her faith in herself in order to protect what she holds dear.
Brief History: Only recently did Claire decided to head for the big city of Seiken in order to study. With the help of her parents, part time job and money she'd been saving, she is trying to live by herself.... That is of course if you don't count her summon spirit Aqua and the sealed demon Jadon who tries to escape and kill her. Pretty much normal life, yes. Claire is studying the old ways, feeling from within that she must learn more about herself and about her spiritualist's ability, which is said to have something to do with the power of the heavens

Personality: Wild and stubborn (age thing, I think). He is trying his best to hide his emotions but clearly almost everything can disturb him. To the one he trust he is very loyal.
Brief History: Shiro has been living within "EDEN" and has learned to know the world through their eyes. To them he is nothing but a weapon and he sees himself this way as well.

Name: Aqua (Her low level name, real name is yet to be told)
Age: She takes the form of a human in her early 20's
Appearance: Silver long hair and blue eyes. high: 1.75 cm.
Personality: Calm and deadly. She is the type to talk less and do more. VERY LOYAL.
Brief History: Aqua was one of the demons summoned after the great sealing of the world and therefore needs constant feeding, which can be gained by a pact with a summoner or feeding from souls/ magic. She shd a great battle in which her summoner died and she was sealed in order to keep her life. When she was first awaken by Claire she was surprised that the girl wanted to save her life, despite of her not having the right terms to be her master. Claire cannot active her full powers but despite this, Aqua decided to stay by her side. It is known that Aqua's father is a high ranked demon and that she is having three strong brothers demons.

Personality: He doesn't care much for anyone aside from what needs to be done, and therefore he is very cold and arrogent. He is a fine manipulator and he can't accept the idea of him not getting what he wants.
Brief History: He is the decended of the angels that were left in our world and he stands high in the ranks of "EDEN". His goal is to make sure that demons won't go wild, but if he could help it, demons won't even go at all, or live for that matter, but since some balance of power needs to be kept their existence should be left alone, but he would make sure it will be little as possible. He doesn't seem to have a slight care for his little brother Shiro who he consider a disgrace for the family.

Age: He takes the form of a man in his later 20's

Personality: Easy going and careless. He like to tease and see others get mad. When he is serious he is a completly diffrent person, but that sight of him is very rare.
Brief History: Jadon was summoned to this world long ago and he killed the man who brought him in. Since he is a demon who was brought after the gates were sealed, he needs constant feeding, like most of his kind. Since magic was not around he started on feeding mortals souls, and tried mainly to obtain certain type of souls, which he later started to call them "spiritualists". On his last hunt he was sealed away by Claire with the holy bond of the 36, which keeps his powers sealed, but at the same time, he is linked to her and is able to feed from her unending soul power.

The Isle of Alesia, off the coast of North Carolina, August 16th, 2042.

In the year 2022, a solar storm erupted from the sun and swept out across the surrounding system of planets, washing over Earth eight days later.

Scientists immediately noticed that this changed the dynamics of cybernetics, and with the radiation of the solar storm, they were able to implement complex systems of nanobots into human beings, giving them hidden but unique powers and advantages. The Syber-Netix Corporation invested heavily in this research and soon came to dominate the field. Led by their CEO, Maximillian "Max" Miller, the first corps of "cyborgs" were trumpeted as a success... until reports came out that the cybernetic implants and internal networks were irreversible (with the apparent arrival of the storm), and that there were cases where the nanobots proliferated and took over an individual's entire body. Syber-Netix's research was banned by the U.S. Government immediately under sanctions of human-rights violations. Mr. Miller covertly bought up real estate on the Isle of Alesia and reopened underground operations there, operating under a number of legal fronts. His research team is now rumored to be hunting for artifacts...

At the same time, the Catholic Church saw a sharp spike in reports of demonic possession and requests for their reclusive and reluctant exorcists, while other reports came in about visions of angels. The reports of the angels were even stranger than those of demonic possession, because it seemed that certain individuals were actually empowered as angels, just as those "possessed" by demons were said to exhibit the usual characteristics you might expect. These people were quickly identified and taken by the Church to a sanctuary off the eastern coast of America on the Island of Alesia.

Also, there seemed to be reports of other strange things happening too--reports of vampirism and lycanthropy. Agents of the FBI's X-files division were sent to investigate these rumors and to their shock, found out that many of the claims had startling legitimacy. Both conditions were classified as "genetic diseases" and a national effort was put into place to round up and remove these individuals into a full surveillance site on the Island of Alesia.

The Island of Alesia is smaller island of similar size to Hawaii's Big Island found about fifty miles off the coast of North Carolina. The island has developed a healthy community that appears to be like any other island community that you might expect, with a reasonable dose of civilization in the City of Alesia (most often just referred to as "The City" by the island's residents). Those who have been deported there are ushered in like tourists, and told that they will be allowed to live here on their own among the other tourists and residents just as if they were "normal" people as well. However, of course, the respected powers that brought them there still have a hand in their affairs and lives.

While Syber-Netix has taken up residence within a few of the office buildings in the downtown heart of the City, they are hardly the only power at play on the island. The Vatican has a church, St. John's Cathedral, set up on the west end of the City, but while Father Bernardo Francis knows that the population there contains a number of people who may in fact be considered to be "possessed" by demonic or angelic forces, he does not share this information with anyone but his very close associates. He is part of an Order of the Church known as the Order of the Apocalypse, that oversees these individuals in the Vatican's plan to keep them "under watch". However, Father Francis is also steeped in knowledge of the occult (part of the reason he was selected for this position), and he has recently come into possession of a tome that speaks of a "storm from the skies" and the existence of five artifacts of power scattered throughout the world that will "remake" the earth in the "image of those who bring them together". Of note is the fact that Father Francis is regarded as "very strange" by the other priests he works with...

Finally, the FBI has set up a front under the guise of hospital, "Daylight Hospital", where it "treats" those with the "diseases" of vampirism and lycanthropy caught by the agents who are scattered throughout the island. They are kept in a special wing of the hospital under total, 24-hour surveillance. Given this presence, those who exhibit such tendancies usually are wiser to keep it to themselves than get themselves "committed" in the Ward of the hospital where "their kind" end up. Recently, some of the people who are secretly carriers of vampirism or lycanthropy have infiltrated the workforce of the hospital and are working to mislead the other authority figures, provide false information, and even help some patients to escape.

History: Sarina nationality is Middle Eastern, but she moved to the Isle of Alesia about 2 years ago because of personal need. She works part time in a Printing House in which a friend of the family is the main CEO of. She gets to have her hands over a lot of books and other documents and she often helps designers create flayers and postcards too.

She lives on her own and enjoys taking pictures and drawing, sometimes spending hours outside doing just that.

The year is 533 T.E and the Ishtarian Empire has ruled most of the continent of Tu'rril for centuries, bringing peace and order to an otherwise barbaric land. The colonies along the eastern coast however are highly traditional and refuse to conform under Imperial law. Despite this however, an uneasy peace was held for more than one and a half century. Sadly, this ended when certain colonials were blamed for the death of a royal member of Ishataria. This was enough to bring war between the two.

This war has dragged on for seven years, ravaging the land and causing the neglect of the people. The entire continent has been swallowed by chaos. The kings and chieftains poured out their own hate for each other, without a single thought for the consequences. The corrupt bureaucrats used this time to gain power in the court, while at the same time bandits on the road used the chaos to become organized enough to be a threat to be realized.

It is now the late fall of 540 T.E and an immense battle is anticipated to occur on the desolate Gray Plains. The Imperial Army is being lead by the brave but young, Prince Kastor, while the Colonies are being lead by a mysterious female general who is only known as "the Witch".

For whatever reason you now have donned your uniform and started your march to the Gray Plains. These barren wastelands takes after its namesake, and a cool breeze blows in from the snow capped mountains to the north. Although the weather was clear, the skies were gray with clouds and small freckles of ice danced with the wind. You hear the boots of your comrades marching, and far off into the distance you can see the opposing army. A large blurry mass, moving over the landscape to meet you. You realize that this day will be but one of many battles that you will take part in.

Now before I tell you that I’m not going to tell you the plot of this RP, I am going to state that this RP is something of a experiment in character development. The focus will be placed on the characters and how they react to the events unfolding around them. The story of the RP is nothing more than background.

The Plot: Not going to tell you. However, there may be a clue in this post somewhere. I do ask, if you think you know what the story behind the RP is, that you keep it to yourself. One of the things I am hoping to do is get genuine reactions to the events of the RP for not only the characters but the writers as well.

The World: This RP will take place in our world in the year 2011 in late September. The setting will be the fictional town of Smithville, Vermont. Smithville is your typical small town. Population of about 5000 people. The town itself is located in the mountains and will often get snowed in from sometime in December to late February.

The Characters: For this I would like everyone to be a normal person. How you interpret that is entirely up to you. The only restrictions I will place on your characters is that I do not want them to be political, law enforcement or military.

My Character (Naz): I will have many, however I won’t have a main character that I will be playing. Until later in the RP, most of my posts will come as news broadcasts that will bring the characters up to speed on current events in the world.

She doesn't like her hair long and tends to shorten it every once in a while. She likes to have a strip of hair in different color (currently a red line on her right side of the head). Doesn't wear any jewels aside of a small dot earring on her right ear. Likes to wear simple cloths, but enjoy dressing up for parties. Mostly don't go with make-up. When near her sister, their violet eyes are beautiful sight to behold, hers however show more curiosity and naiveté.

Occupation: works two days a week in a renting movie store. Mainly because she is bored.

Other skills: Pretty much like her sister. Also she is a very good runner.

Personality: Anath wouldn't do something unless she gain something out of it. Or if her sister asks her to. Bryn is the only one who can make Anath do as she asks, but Anath still gets annoyed with it. However she loves her sister dearly and she is very protective when it comes to Bryn.

Aside of it, Anath is very out-spoken and have no trouble using bad language. She likes to push stuff and annoy people if she cans. She gets angry very fast, but can be calmed down just as easily and although she hardly ever hush, no one really knows her like her sister does. She is in fact a very insecure. She'll just never admit it. In fact she will kick anyone who will suggest it.

Biography: The Aden twins and their parents moved to Smithville when they were just children. Their father made a quick fortune on Wall Street and decided to retire early to the little town. However, their mother found the place to be horribly dull, and the two spent most of their years traveling the world.

Anath felt like she didn't find herself within the world and considered everyone to be idiots. She and her sister grew up to be not only best friends, but also partners in causing trouble. She only trusts Bryn and will do anything for her.

Little is known about him and even he isn't fully sure himself of the visions that hunt his mind occasionally; He was a tyrant king, of that he is sure. He even remembered how he was murdered. In this world, there exist some things which we do not understand. Things which seem otherworldly to us, even alien. Things with powers that we do not even deem possible. As humans, we must make a choice: either to accept these beings for what they are, and live peacefully with them in pure harmony, or to hate them and seek their destruction, cleansing the world of their kind in order to restore the rightful order. Whatever decision you may make, it will affect the course of the future in ways you cannot even imagine…

Throughout history, it has only been recorded happening a few times. That special instance in which a child is born with a pair of wings. It has occurred all over the world, appearing in various frequencies depending upon the time or place. People who have wings usually keep them hidden, but when they feel any extreme emotion, such as joy, sadness or love, their wings spread forth. The cause of this is yet unknown, but human culture has found many different ways to describe these individuals, sometimes calling them apostles from the gods, others demons from the fiery world below. While some were praised for their gift, others were hunted as a cursed breed. Over time, though the phenomenon has become more obscure with time, it nonetheless continues to happen in some small parts of the world.

Truly, a winged child in itself is quite a rare sight to behold. However, it so happens that some wings differed from others. For as humans vary in size and shape, it is the same among those with wings. History has seen white feathered winglets that shine like the sun, and leathery flaps darker than blackest night. The type of the wing itself does not favor any kind of cultural descent, but certain groups and religions set some store of faith in a number of beliefs. The angels of God, as mentioned in certain texts, were once raised to divine status by practitioners of pre-Renaissance Christianity, and so all white-winged children were so praised. In another part of the world, it was believed that dark-winged messengers to the heavens had delivered the people to salvation in the beginning of time, so people with such features were revered as saviors, and many sacrifices were made in their honor. Of course, these were usually isolated cults whose practices were not very widespread in the world until much later, when the major religions emerged in full. After that, all winged humans began to be treated generally the same, either accepted or shunned by the people they appeared to.

During the early 13th century, there were a lot of people who did despise those who were given the ability of flight. While a few did struggle to gain this power through artificial means, such as celebrated inventor Leonardo Da Vinchi, most people resorted to hunting down and destroying those who had such powers. Secret societies, and not so secret ones, both sought to remove all forms of winged being from the earth, that they might restore balance to the world, and for some, pride in humanity. These societies began to raise and recruit people with certain skills and abilities to achieve these ends, using their own power to hunt down that which they so despised. And so it was that the great hunters came to be, along with many of history’s heroes. One of the most renowned hunters of winged kind was St. George, whose exploits were altered by his supporters to turn him into the dragon slayer as foretold in legends of old. As the centuries passed, however, the technologies utilized by the hunters continued to develop. As the modern era approaches, the age of computers and nuclear power, they have adapted their weapons and their equipment to their needs. This, of course, makes them much more formidable than ever before.

The order of winged hunters has amassed a fair amount of support, it is true. However, the world of today is different from how it was in ancient times. While there are some places that are familiar to such entities, a large part of the Earth’s population is yet but ignorant of the presence of winged people. Those born with wings mostly do a good job of hiding them, and those who do not do so well tend to fall prey to hunters. As such, many live unaware that there is another world out there, right under their nose. A world in which people can soar through the skies, without the help of planes or jets. A world where the skies are the limit…

Vasco is a well build man and rather tall, about 1.90cm. Because of his abnormal body structure, he weight less then normal man his age because of his soft bones, which enable him to fly.

His face is long and narrow, has a vulture type of nose, long ears and narrowed long blue eyes with a rather thin black eyebrows. His long dark black hair reaches below his shoulders line and always picked up. His whole facial expression usually shows cold and apathy.

He tends to hide his wings and thanks to his persona it's quite easy for him to do so. His wings are like a bird, and they are rather big and large, even for one of his type.

Powers: He can hear better then most humans and has great vision at night. He is capable of merging in a dark area, making himself invisible to someone who is not trained enough to look, but he can't actully make himself fully dissappear in dark areas. Lately he discovered that he can increase or decrease flames that are already lighten, but that control is limited and doesn't always work.

Personality: Vasco is the type of guy who gets bored easly and he makes all of crazy stuff to rid himself of that feeling. He is a women killer but has a weak spot for Alexis. He is a fine manipulator and he can't accept the idea of him not getting what he wants. He dislikes fighting and appreciates wisdom and wit. He tends to keep to himself and while in battle he can wear a perfect poker face.

The Story of Rapture

Long ago in a land which was green and full of life a people known as The Ancestors lived. Some would consider them to be a simple people but they were also a peaceful people. They were a people who knew not of such things as war, pain, or suffering. They were a people who did not have to worry about things such as hunger, thirst, or even fear. Their life was serene and their home was a paradise known only as Rapture. However, that all changed one faithful night when an object fell from the heavens. Frightened by the noise which it had made a small group of Ancestors went out to see what had caused it. To their surprise they found a pure white stone which was about the size of a watermelon. As The Ancestors looked upon the stone they were enchanted by it; for the stone shined with a light that was a white as the clouds. Fascinated by this light The Ancestors claimed that this stone was nothing more than a gift from the gods. Hastily The Ancestors then carried the stone back to their village where a new sense of determination and passion was now found.

This, of course was not all which was found. As time went on things started to change among The Ancestors. Slowly one by one The Ancestors started to become restless and even violent. Fights started to become more common place as two would start arguing, sometimes for no reason. Eventually those who had become restless would disappear never to be seen again. As for those who had stayed the same they now looked upon their changing world with fear wondering in the back of their minds what was happening. However, that was something which was never to be answered as a creature of terrible power and terrifying intent made itself known to The Ancestors. Like creatures of mad intent they swarmed what was left of The Ancestors, their numbers in the hundreds. Some managed to escape the creatures, but at a terrible cost. For those who could escape they were forced to leave Rapture; forced to wonder the barren wastelands outside of Rapture.

Now faced with thirst and starvation the remaining Ancestors were forced to find a new home. Some place of safety where they could shield themselves from the sun; a place where they would have food and water. This, at first, seemed like nothing more than a dream to them, however. Finally, after many days of searching they found this home. A simple place, an oasis, out in the middle of the desert. There The Ancestors found everything they needed to rebuild their lives; food, water, and even shelter. Eventually they started to call themselves Dwellers, and in their new home they found peace.

This peace would not last forever, however, and the Dwellers knew this. They began making weapons and teaching themselves how to use them as well. Their effort was not wasted for as time passed others looked upon what the Dwellers had built and grew jealous. They wanted the Oasis to be destroyed and for the Dwellers to suffer. From this a war began. Although this new threat did not stand much of a chance against the Dwellers they were persistent and their numbers were great. For many years we Dwellers have been fighting and a conclusion is finally growing near. This is where our story begins.

What is Happening Now

The tension is starting to grow in Oasis. Although everyone knows it no one really wants to admit it. The Scarabs power is growing stronger and the Dwellers resources are starting to thin. The long war for survival is starting to come to an end and those who fight for Oasis will not give in until it is all over, especially the small group who leads the army of Oasis.

Hassan is from a closed cult called "Kumaran" ("Order of the moon"), which was established secretly with the idea of divine goodness in mind. His cult does not try to enforce their faith upon others and therefore rare are the people that heard about it. Their routines includes praying three times a day and teaching that fighting in its origin is wrong and that blades should be used, unless if it's for the better good. They don't fancy alcoholic drinks and believe it is important to keep the body pure and untainted from evil, blood and death and have many methods to "purge" their souls when they come in contact with dead bodies or vile objects.

He was considered to be the "healer" among his clan, and has a wide knowledge of healing herbs and good use of first aid.

He is a man of few words, wise, calculated and somewhat distant, but with a good sense of humor.

Two warring Kingdoms, driven for dominance over their lands, fight to the bitter end. One king, knowing that his kingdom was going to lose, went to the order of magic, an ancient cult that had been helping him protect the kingdom.

Pleading with them, he asked for his kingdom to be put to rest, and his people sent into the future, where they could hopefully live on, free of fighting and strife. The sorcerer’s, feeling the plight of the king, agreed to help him, and began preparing a powerful spell to send the people of the kingdom into the future.

The other kingdom, catching wind of this, went to intercept bringing their sorcerer’s with them to try and break the spell, hoping to kill the kingdom in one fell strike. Though they had started, they were unable to completely stop the spell, but were able to alter it. The memories of the people of the kingdom were altered, to make them forget their past and to be replaced by one from the current world. The Other kingdoms army was eradicated in the blast, and the Kingdom left standing in rubble. Though they cheered, the other king remained unsatisfied, sitting upon his throne and angered by the victory taken away from him.

The evil king, King Lesh, went to his mages, and proclaimed to them to remake the spell, so that he may send his own men to the same future to kill the people of the kingdom, so that he may wipe out the remains of his enemy once and for all.

Flash forward to the present: Enter the present day, Kingport Cove, Maine. If your char is from the present and has “Powers “they will be a direct descendant of someone from the kingdom. If your char is normal they will not be ancestors, they will be normal ordinary every day people.

A chain of events will occur that will begin to clue the townsfolk in that something is amiss. As long lying dormant powers begin to come to light, everything the people of Kingport Cove, Maine have ever thought they have known to be truth will be changed during the “awakening.”

Okay, so dear Cherilyn has humble height, about 1.61 cm and weights about 55KG. She has curvy features, which are luckily placed at the right places (more or less, you'll never hear a woman admitting she is perfectly okay with her body), which is rather good.

Has hazelnut colored eyes and long straight dark black hair (which reaches a bit below her shoulders, but mostly picked up in a pony tail).

She takes good care of herself, but likes to have a casual appearance.

Personality: She is a self challenging, meaning if there is something she wants, she will get it. Mostly it happens when she wants to proves her clients she can get them any books they want, but it came to pass about many things in her life as well. She is a night-owl, and likes to do things her way than count on others. She is friendly and wise, but sometimes her sense of humor can be a bit too sarcastic for others.

She hates to deals with crap, or people who don't do pull their share despite the fact she will smile and pretend everything is rainbows and sunshine when in truth she hates these people. It's all political game in the end for her and she is good at forming her social moves, although she is kept to herself mostly, enjoying her own private space. That is why only her close friends will read what's wrong with her when she starts with the bad humor jokes.

To some she may come off as a arrogant person, when in truth she just having hard time dealing with people who aren't smart enough in her book.

Aside of that, when she has something she believes in, she will go all the way out for it.

And, although not the 'party' type, she is a rather fun individual to be with (unless caught up with a bad mood...).

This is a story of evil. Of an evil from the distant past. A tale of light against darkness. Of long-dead gods and living, breathing (but flawed) humans. Of dried dicks and fiery love. Of legends, myths and dreams. Of death, and resurrection, and birth.

Osiris was the ancient Egyptian god of light, standing for growth, peace, freedom and goodness. As befitted his responsibility he was fair, tall and (by Egyptian standards) light-skinned. His wife (also his sister - I'm afraid the Egyptians went in for that sort of thing) was Isis, the beautiful, graceful goddess of love and fertility. Osiris' brother was Set, god of mischief, darkness and decay. He was squat, dark-skinned and dark-haired. And very jealous of Osiris. He'd have liked nothing better than to kill him, but legend had it that if you spilled a god's blood (even if you were a god yourself) you'd be eternally damned.

So Set hatched a clever scheme. He had a sarcophagus (ancient Egyptian coffin) made to Osiris' exact requirements, and then invited him to dinner. After the feast, he invited Osiris to try out the coffin for a joke (did you think that sort of after-dinner entertainment started with the Goths?)... and when the unsuspecting Osiris got it, Set slammed down the lid and filled it with molten lead. Osiris suffocated to death.

So, evil and darkness (in the person of Set) appeared t have triumphed. But just as the sun has a habit of rising, so the forces of light were not defeated yet. After many years of hiding form the triumphant Set, Isis recovered Osiris' embalmed corpse and made love to it, becoming pregnant with a son, Horus.

When the enraged Set found out, he has Osiris' corpse cut up into pieces, and had the remains distributed all over the kingdom. The grieving Isis spent the rest of her life on a pilgrimage to locate the parts of the body. She did not attempt to reassemble it, but erected a shrine whenever she found a bodily part.

Eventually, she found all of it except one piece - Osiris' penis. Set had carefully retained this on his person as a magical talisman. This is why, when Horus grew to maturity he was able to defeat Set several times in personal combat, but never able to kill him. This is why darkness has never been entirely defeated by light.

The talisman has since been lost - rumor has it that it last surfaced in 1914, when Rasputin, the mad Russian monk used it to start world war one. Nothing has been heard of it since. The legend says that if it's ever found, it will unleash a reign of destruction and mayhem upon the world.

Well, for most of the members, that's all the Nile Society really is. But when you rise high enough, and get to the inner circle... it's a very different story indeed. You see, the inner circle are very familiar with the legend outlined above. And it's pretty evident that if they can get hold of the Talisman of Set, they'll be in the same position as Set was. They can use it to restore Set's rule of darkness and decay, and the grateful deity is sure to reward them with power, prestige and unlimited maidens. It's the same sad old story...

And after many decades of striving and waiting, the Nile Society have at last found the final piece of the jigsaw. A girl born at exactly the right astrological time to be the perfect sacrifice, to enable them (by means of a magical ritual) to find the location of the talisman. When they've got it, they can bring Set back. And then...

Led by the great Supreme God Anu, the Anunnaki came to Earth in search of gold. They were few in number and to mine the precious metal, they created humanity. The Anunnaki took the daughters of men as their wives, and created the first demigods. They enslaved humanity, forcing them to worship the Anunnaki, and work to the day that they died, in their mines. Threatened with great punishments by the strange technology brought by these gods, no man dared to resist.

That is all about to change. Messengers have arrived to Sumer, telling of great strife and rebellion, open war even, in the South. Lord Enlil has sent armies to crush the fools that would rise up against the Gods. The people of humanity will pay a terrible price for daring this affront against their betters, for the terrible wrath of Enlil is not easily sated.

In the city of Uruk, our beloved god-king, the legendary hero Gilgamesh, lives in peace with his beautiful wife, protecting his city as he was tasked by the god Enki. It is this man, aided by his loyal friend and renowned hero Eabani, and the many proud warriors siding with them, that has been chosen by Enki to lead humanity in an uprising. An uprising against our tyrannical gods with their mysterious weapons of light and fire.

But to even have a chance to do battle with the gods, these heroes of humanity must find the legendary Tablet of Destinies, a mysthical artefact said to have been written by Supreme God Anu himself. And such a quest is nothing short of folly. How can man ever hope to overcome such odds? I fear that humanity has a dark time ahead of us, and not even the courage of the heroes of Uruk can save us from this darkness...

She is capable of having her own lands, control her own temple and even decided how to run up her life. The only downside to it is that she is forbidden to bear children. She is allowed to marry and have all the things including to it, just not giving birth). Serves the temple of Enlil from early age.
