Sansha-class Battleships are by far the largest warships in the terran arsenal. They're DESIGNED for ownage.

Oh, and I've doubled the length to approx. 1.5 km.

It would go well with the USS Chuck Norris.

The Earth Federation's naval arsenal lacks a dedicated heavy carrier but the Sansha-Class does have the largest number of strike craft. There's only a handful of them in the navy due to their size, but when they're sent out, they dwarf any other ship the Federation can field.

First constructed by the US Aerospace Force in response to colonial revolt during the late 21st century.

The story? Well here's a basic timeline, from Earth's perspective.

c. 2550 BCE
Earth and Venus are colonised by a long-range Sutekh colonial expedition.

1886 A.D.
United States embassy and Bureau of Investigation corrospondence office estabilished in Capella System.

2011 A.D.
Rome annihilated by Saiv military expedition.

2023 A.D.
RAPTURE global defense mainframe goes online under the command of the United Nations Security Council, to defend against threats outside of the Solar System.

2061 A.D.
First human colony outside of Solar System.

2070 A.D.
Accidental Chinese nuclear strike on Los Angeles results in the death of millions of Americans. World superpowers begin bombarding each other in paranoia. WWIII begins.

2089 A.D.
By this time, 50% of the Earth's land surface is contaminated by radioactive fallout, infested with militarised nanobot clouds, or otherwise rendered inhospitable.

2092 A.D.
US Special Forces seize control of the RAPTURE mainframe.

2096 A.D.
"Unification Day", United States flags fly over all surviving urban centres on Earth. The US government relocates the capital from Washington, D.C. to Chicago and proclaims the formation of the Earth Federation.

2132 A.D.
Earth is occupied by the Shinobi Empire after losing a war with the Galactic Senate.

2135 A.D.
Democratic Terran League formed, headed by Senate sympathisers.

2136 A.D.
Present day.

Well the US was lucky to have the UN Headquarters Building within it's own territory. They raided it for the RAPTURE codes, which gave them the ability to nuke any location on Earth.
