Welcome to Persistent Worlds. Before you get started, there are a few guidelines which must be followed. Please note that we are doing this as a trial and the staff reserves the right to shut down the section if we feel it isn't working out.

All RPA rules (http://role-player.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1) are in full effect.

Though we prefer that you create original worlds, we will not stop anyone from creating a world based on existing canon. However, all persistent worlds will be created on a first come first serve basis and we will not allow duplicates.

In order to get a forum section for your persistent world, you must have at least five people (not including yourself) already interested. As well, you must have been a member on RPA for at least three months and have participated in a minimum of two RPs Feel free to post a recruitment/idea thread in this section (http://role-player.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=291) to attract people. Please note that there are no criteria for joining a persistent world other than that set forth by the Master GM.

Once you have your idea and at least five interested people, fill out the application in the applications thread (http://role-player.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12836) and post it in that thread Once your application is approved, an Admin will create your forum section.

Worlds should be a collaborative effort. While the Master GM will have the final say as to what happens within the persistent world, we hope that the other members that are participating in the world will have creative input as well. Discussions should be kept civil.

While we understand that some worlds may have different factions, we ask that the RP is not faction based. We want the characters to be interacting with everyone within the world. Not just a small few for the most part. If you want to participate in a Faction based RP, check out Clans and Guilds (http://role-player.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=91), or POWERS (http://role-player.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=213).

If you choose to conduct conversations about your world via IM or chat-room, please note that the staff of RPA will not be responsible for any problems that arise therein. If problems that arise off site come up in this section, or anywhere else on RPA, the forum for that world will be closed.

Each world's section will be allowed up to four subforums. These may be whatever you wish, though we do highly recommend that one be a Master OOC and one be a Master IC. Note that you can make as many threads as you want within each subforum and feel free to ask a member of staff to sticky any of them for you.

The staff reserves the right to deny any application for a subforum.

The staff reserves the right to recycle any world that is inactive for any great length of time.
