So the story begins.....

Once upon a time a faraway land known as Amestris was at peace. No divisions within the kingdom, no separate chunks and nobody was willing to kill of the competition.

Unfortunately though this is no longer the case. Things have changed since the fair (well that's certainly a matter of opinion,) Lady Dante took her place as Queen. Not only did she claim war on the northern kingdom know as Drachma, she has split the kingdom into separate nation, ruled by a subject whom is now a prince or princess.

Of course, in most instances the princes and princesses are determined to take the throne in the lovely Central City by whatever means necessary. As do many others. The true question though is who will take control in the end?

[As you can see this roleplay doesn't quite follow the regular storyline. In this roleplay, while you may play a canon - in fact I encourage it but you will be adding some sort of mythological or fairy-tale twist to your character. The same goes for original characters.]

My rules for this roleplay are pretty simple.

→ Literacy is a must, when I say you must be literate I don't mean you need to be absolutely perfect but I would prefer it if you could write at least a paragraph and keep an eye on your spelling and grammar.

→ I would really prefer not to see a whole armada of one-liners so try to save them for real cases of writer's block. Let's also avoid quote towers.

→ You may play a maximum of six characters though this number might change if I see fit.

→ The basic rules also apply here such as no godmodding, flaming or powerplaying. Don't kill another character without permission. If the clothes start coming off, we don't want to hear about it and I won't tell you to take it elsewhere. Timeskips are your friend.

→ Plot twists and romance and so on are more then encouraged however!

→ We are yaoi and yuri friendly here.

→ Have fun or get decked in the face with a glass slipper. :D

Oh, and silly me I almost forgot. I do hope everyone knows to use something to signify OOC!

Fairy Tale Persona: The Queen of Hearts
Age: A real lady never reveals her age.
Information: Formerly known as the Lady Dante, whom resided in Central City with her husband until the death of the former king Hoenheim. The couple (though the marriage being one of mere convenience and it was rare to even see the two in the same room aside from when addressing the public,) being the next in line, took the throne though it is highly obvious that Dante runs the show.

After taking over she set to work dividing all of Amestris into territories, appointing those she felt deserved it the title of 'Prince,' and 'Princess.' Of course, she also instated the new death penalty for all those who would cross her - including her now late husband. She is well aware of the fact of the many whom wish to take the throne and is thoroughly amused by the attempts on her life.

Fairy Tale Persona: Thumbelina
Age: Twenty-six.
Information: To start, our little Thumbelina hates the name 'Flarissa.' She is not an ordinary girl - not even by fairy tale standards - seeing as she is quite tiny - standing barely five inches tall able to fit into the palm of one's hand. She wasn't always so small, when she was a little girl she was a princess within Eastern Amestris, and of normal size.

One day while playing in the woods - she was perhaps nine or so - she came across a glowing light in the clearing and wandered upon a witch about to cast a spell. The spell backfired and she felt dizzy and then found herself in immense pain as she shrank. The witch freaked out and ran. She awoke to find herself in her own bedroom lying on her own pillow.

Her parents never found the witch whom cast the spell however accommodations were made to make the princess' life easier. A sorceress (for sorceress' are more skilled than ordinary witches,) was called upon and she cast an enchantment over the small lady so that she would find herself with wings to get around faster. Not a fairy, but she would appear to be one.

When she was seventeen, the palace she lived in was stormed and her parents carted of to the high-security in Central City. The princess was not found and flew out immediately after her parents were taken but could not keep up. Little did she know this was the work of Lady Dante whom was setting up so that she could take over after the kings death. (Plot twist!)

She now sets out to find her parents, seek revenge against the Queen and to find a way to return to her normal size. (Rumors have flown there are possibilities.)

Information: She is a shapeshifter prefering the shape of a fairly rotund pink and purple stripped tomcat. She has always loved riddles and how they confuse others. So she took up stopping travelers and telling them riddles to confuse them. She is a loner and will help you out but only if you get her riddles.*
** She loves to be mischevious and is constantly getting in trouble. So if you meet her watch your belongings they may just go missing!

Information:
Ein is what many would consider a "truth" seeker. He enjoys reading philosophy and finding out new information. His studies are not limited to anything, the information he retains is anything between random facts and brilliant discoveries. However because of his love for knowledge he spends all his money on books and scrolls so he was forced to get a job, and he thought it'd be neat to be a state alchemist. So he applied for the job and with his innovative techniques of alchemy he was immediately hired and deemed "The Enlightened Alchemist". When he was hired he was delighted to see that he was able to to read any books he wanted in the Central Library, so he was often seen there. If he wasn't sent out on diplomatic missions, or anything that needed a wise-mans help.

Appearance: If you were going to describe what Ein looked like you would have to say that he looks like a stereotypical nerd. He has short black hair with small square glasses covering his eyes. He has a lanky figure standing at 5"10 with only slight muscles noticeable in his arms. When people see him they get a sense of knowledge off of him.

Other: He's very clever, which makes him an excellent strategist and a great chess player.

Asmodeus or as he prefers, "The Madman" was born to a rich noble family that was cast aside thirty years ago. Asmodeus was forced to watch as his father killed his Wife, then himself in ritual Suicide. Forced to sit there for three days without water, food, and having to stare at the corpses of his parents decaying, and the bugs eating their flesh, Asmodeus wen't completely insane before he was able to get free. He wandered off never to be seen again.

Thirty years later mysterious murders began to happen, right around the time of Dante's rule. They were killed in the most brutal of ways, some had their throats ripped out by strong hands, others were cut to bits and strewn all over streets. One butcher actually ended up the victim of his own blades, and was hung on a meat hook outside his work-place.

A single person has ever saw this person, and that was just a silhouette, but what stood out most was the mans hatter. The single survivor, never able to sleep right again, spread the rumor of "The Mad Hatter"

Fairy Tale Persona: Mushu

Age: 39 (just to let you all know this is a wild guess. just seems like that age)

Information: Brought into the world through an egg, simple enough for him. the next part was something he didn't enjoy. Someone cracking the egg open as he was hatching. It wasn't until he was to become a mind altered pet to some family who seemed to be a bit too hygenic and it eventually allowed for him to get a hold of a small book. In this he figured out that he shouldn't be the one to be a pet. But rather he was to be feared by the humans who raised him.
A small chapel cleared the thoughts when his purpose was to help protect the very family that raised him. A smack in the head for him, but then again he was trying to compair himself to a being that is twenty or so feet taller than him. And the humans could easily step on him.
But that is how he was set up as. Except he in his mindset a red lizard that is more streatchy than it seems he should be.
