Once, longer ago than many beings can remember, existence was simply a void. A void filled with unrestrained, unchecked power that penetrated all. Among this power within the void rose cosmic beings of tremendous power. Shortly after the rise of the Cosmics, the void in which they resided could not contain their energies and exploded outward. This explosion created all existence mortal beings know. A great multiverse was born, individual universes connected by inter-dimensional rifts that mortals could not see nor comprehend.

The Cosmic beings began to discuss how best to watch over the existence born from the void. This set the seeds of dissention among beings that once considered one another friend. One side wanted to simply observe the cosmos and allow all beings within it to grow, change, and evolve without interference from them. The other side wanted the opposite. They wanted to have control over all living beings to ensure no one race grew to powerful or out of hand. Many Cosmics joined both sides and just as many left for the far reaches, fed up with the bickering and growing feelings of violence.

The arguments did turn to violence. Two groups were formed from the Cosmic beings. Ordo Noros, composed of those who believed the cosmos should be allowed to grow and change on it’s own; and Black Moon, who wanted to directly control all life in the cosmos.

The battles between the two groups was not confined to just the far reaches of space and time. Many times, they met on worlds inhabited by intelligent life. Knowing they could not fight all the battles themselves, the Cosmics began enlisting agents from various worlds. Men and women of great power who agreed with what each group offered. Using these agents, Noros and Moon could fight planet-side battles without harming or outright destroying the planet.

Agents of each order carry marks to identify themselves to both friends and foes alike. The agents of each group are immortal unless struck down by another agent, be it friend or foe. Ordo Noros marks their agents with gear symbols while Black Moon marks their agents with the namesake of the order: a moon. Both groups possess twenty agents who stand above the rest. These are men and women of great power and are marked not with the standard symbol, but a numeral designating their rank among the high agents. The ranks are based on the individual power of each agent.

The two orders, each possessing a veritable army of agents, have been battling for millennia. There will be no swift end to their war.

Our story takes us to one world in particular. A world steeped in magic and holy beliefs created by one of the Cosmics who took no sides. He crafted guardians, Angels, to watch the world in his stead since he would not remain tied to the planet forever. The Angels, led by the five Archangels, watched over the mortals and enforced the laws of their God when the Archangels deemed it necessary.

Outside the Angels’ celestial palace, the world prospered. The humans learned to defend themselves from the beasts of nature as well as the monsters that dwelled in the darkness. Humans, Vampires, Elves, Fae, and shape-shifters all dwell in this world. Humans and Elves live in peace with one another while the Vampires scheme in their dark sanctuaries. Rarely do the beings of the Fae emerge from their homes and territories to interact with the other races. Shape-shifters are almost as reclusive as the Fae, but in recent years have become more prone to venturing into human and Elven towns to trade.

However, all this is constantly threatened by the demonic forces that dwell in secret places. The Angels are ever vigilant and on the lookout for activity from their demonic counterparts.

This is the world the agents of Ordo Noros and Black Moon have found themselves in. The world in which the agents will fight their battles. Their actions will determine if the world remains unaware of their battle or joins in.

ANGELS

The guardians the world called Sanctus. Beings of great power created by the cosmic being who crafted Sanctus. They dwell within their celestial palace to watch over the other races.

The Archangels lead the Angels. The five Archangels are the strongest of the Angels, sometimes taking it upon themselves to enforce the will of their departed master.

HUMANS

Along with the Elves, the humans are the most abundant race of Sanctus. Because of their physical similarities, humans quickly formed ties with the Elves as they built their cities across the countryside and established their kingdoms.

By nature, the humans of Sanctus are a hardy people. Very stubborn and not easily intimated by threats.

ELVES

Many wooded areas are home to the Evles of Sanctus. The more nomadic clans spread across the countryside and first made contact with humans who migrated from the far north and south looking to settle. With the help of the Elves, humans were able to find fertile land and build towns and villages around those. Since then, the Elves have had good relations with mankind.

Elves possess natural physical prowess despite their fair appearance. They are just as well versed in the arts of war as man is.

SHAPE-SHIFTERS

One of the more reclusive races of Sanctus, shape-shifters normally do not venture outside their forests or territories. However, with the expansion of human and Elven cultures, the shape-shifters have become curious enough to venture into human towns to barter and trade.

Shape-shifters naturally have a human-like appearance typically adorned with certain features of the animal they change into.

FAE

Little is known of these beings by the other races. They have never ventured forth from their lands to interact with other races, but all know to stay away from Fae forests unless they have a desire never to be seen again.

Recently, there have been reports of more commotion than normal within the black forests that make up Fae territory.

DEMONS

Existing in underground realms, the demons only venture topside to terrorize the countryside and collect souls. Only twice have they ventured in full force and both times they were beaten back by the Angels. However, in recent months something has been stirring them up as though preparing for a third assault on the surface.

Myrdred Tawl, Numeral Five of Ordo Noros
Standing at a tough five feet, nine inches, Myrdred possesses dark, spiky hair and bright cyan eyes that decorate his handsome, slightly gaunt face. Disrupting his features is a nasty burn on the left side of his face that completely destroyed his cheek and never healed over fully, leaving a lot of his jaw bone exposed. His hard body is lithe and muscled, almost like a large, predatory feline. His numeral is on the right side of his chest.

His garb consists of a white jacket with black fur lining the collar and cuffs along with black pants and boots.

Dedlok, Numeral Ten of Ordo Noros
He stands at an imposing seven feet tall and possesses a hard, well muscled body. His skin is steel gray and he has dark hair and eyes. Much of his torso and arms bear numerous scars. The most prominent being one that stretches across his body diagonally from his right shoulder to left hip and is mirrored on the back, suggesting that the blade was stabbed through before ripped downward. His numeral is on his left forearm.

His clothing consists of a navy blue tunic with dull steel buttons, black pants, heavy boots, a long, hooded coat that reached down to about mid-shin level, and black gloves.

Anjisaar
Cosmic Being, no allegiances.
Able to take any form he wishes, Anjisaar has decided on taking a human appearance for his stay on Sanctus. His body is that of a young man with the build of a fencer. His hair is dark purple and his eyes are bright purple irises with sclera of the same shade. He possesses a reasonably handsome, lightly lined face as well.

His garb consists of a long black coat that is slightly tattered at the hem along with loose fitting black pants and boots as well as a wide brim hat.

Name: Lydia Duskborn, or "Idi".
Age: Unknown, quite young for a Fae
Race: Fae/Elvish
Height: 5"7
Build: slim

Skills/abilities: knowledge of healing via herbs, limited flight (finds it tiring to do too constantly), plant/animal control through her flute.
Equipment/weapons: Flute, various herbs and seeds

Personality: A quite quiet individual for most of the time, she finds the world outside her forest a bit overwhelming. After getting past her original shyness, Idi is quite intrigued by the world and is more then willing to try new things, wishing to experience everything for herself.
Short bio: Idi's mother was a Fae, who took a liking to a young elvish man. She would often try to lure him into the forest, often to no avail. It is believed he had a fall out with his brethren, that made him decide to venture into Idi's mother's homeforest, but Lydia has found it difficult to get any useful information out of her mother. It is uncertain what happened to her farther after he fell under the Fae's spell - he never came out, and yet Idi has lived in that forest all her life and has never seen him. She decided to venture out of the forest in order to find out what exactly took place - besides, she has never quite fit in with the ways of the Fae, not being so easily swung by emotion or mischief due to her Elven blood.

Age: 56 (This is assuming that the Elves are Immortal like usual, if they aren't make that 26)
Race: Elven
Height: 6'
Build: rather lithe and slim like most of his kin

Skills/abilities: Aranith has a gift for music, at festivals he is often playing the violin (Or the Sanctus equivalent of a violin) to back the carefully arranged singers. He is also skilled with long swords and shields, although he rarely meets a fight that needs such weapons so he never carries one.
Equipment/weapons: he carries his violin with him almost everywhere, and his family sword http://www.odinblades.com/Swords5/SwordOfPeru.JPG although since he's never really needed to use it, he keeps it at home on display, and only carries it to events meant to show off such things.

Personality: Aranith has always been sort of a cheeky, joking sort of man, always trying to ease the mood and always a good man to talk to when you're sad, but never fear he can easily tell when he has to be serious and can be deadly in such situations.
Short bio: Aranith grew up hearing about his family line, heroes and great warriors that helped push back the demonic hordes that threatened the world, except for his own father who ran out on him when he was a lad. Since Aranith's father never tried to aspire to be such a person neither did he, so when he came of age struck out on his own, he was given his family blade when he left and considers himself lucky that it's had to leave it's sheath rarely.

Hello everyone ^^ I'm the co GM of this rp and if you've ever dealt with me before you should know that I am always the last person to post my profiles. So here they are!

Name: Maya Ophelia Reed
Age: 27
Race: Coyote Spirit
Height: 5’9”
Build: Voluptuous

Maya wears a white coat with black accents, the collar of which fully covers the lower half of her face, her arms and hands and the top 2/3 of her rather large breasts. The sleeves cover her hands up to the second knuckle. The fabric turns black half way down her palms and her long nails are painted black (or possibly are naturally black, no one is really sure). She’s very tall and VERY curvy in build with hips a fair amount wider than her already wide shoulders and very ample breasts. For pants she wears white short-shorts with a black band around the waist, which rests about halfway down her hips. Her skin is pale and her short hair is strawberry blonde. Her eyes are brilliant sky blue and are almost always smiling. She has a wide range of expressions, which are mostly read through her eyes since you can’t see her mouth. She has a Kokopelli tattooed in the small of her back, and her Numeral is tattooed right above her left hip.

Skills/abilities: Maya will often cause people to shout, “IT’S A TRAP!” Her magic tends to revolve around trickery, traps, and illusions. She can cause almost anything to merely happen, but mostly chooses not to. Being a spirit, she is very in tune to the spirit world and can feel people’s magical energy very clearly. She’s also a Coyote and has all the senses of a Canine including smell, vision and hearing. She can also transform into a Coyote, or an anthropomorphic Coyote.
Equipment/weapons: She has a hammerspace backpack, though a lot of times she can’t find what she’s looking for and will spend quite a while looking for something in it. She fights with a Glaive, though most of the time will stay in the background casting spells.

Personality: Being a Coyote Spirit, Maya is a Trickster. She loves a good practical joke and is very free spirited and carefree. She almost always has a mildly amused expression on her face. When she looks angry, beware.
Short bio: Maya was born and raised in Montana on the planet Earth. She was always good at what she did, eventually becoming the Trickster’s Chosen. She was informed in a vision that she needed to seek out Ordo Noros and join forces with them. After searching, she eventually found them, quickly rising in the ranks to reach Numeral Six in under five months.



Name: Toya Ichigo (First name Ichigo)
Age: 18
Race: Human
Height: 5’ 10”
Build: Fencer’s Build, slim but muscular

He wears a black leather Bomber Jacket with white fleece trim for a top with a white t-shirt underneath. The Jacket has a large patch of the Japanese Flag on the left bicep and has a patch of his Numeral in red on the left side of his chest. For pants he wears white straight leg jeans and for shoes he wears black leather boots. He also wears white gloves and a black eye-mask, which whites out his dark purple almond shaped eyes. When he uses his powers his eyes glow colours from lavender to blue-white depending on the intensity with which he is using his powers, lavender being the least, blue white being the most. Most Ordo Noros members have never seen him without the mask. His Numeral Seven is tattooed on the left side of his neck.

Skills/abilities: Massively enhanced speed, incredible Mana control. He can sense spirits and see invisible things. He can feel the flow of Mana and can know when his opponent is preparing a magical attack when his powers are activated. He’s good at mending things and is an excellent cook. Jade has taught him how to mend wounds as well as possible without magic and he is unmatched at fencing.
Equipment/weapons: Mostly he uses a Foil, which is hardened and sharpened to the point of actually being a practical weapon.

Personality: A bit awkward at times, but generally happy and easygoing. He always has a smile on his face unless he’s embarrassed or sad. It’s pretty hard to get him angry with you, because he’ll usually blame himself and just feel bad for a while. He tends to get nervous about using magic in combat which severely weakens his magic, which of course just makes him more nervous, and when it doesn’t work he gets MORE nervous about going back into combat. Probably the only time he really seems confident is when he has his blade in hand.
Short bio: Exceedingly little is known about Ichigo Toya. Mostly what people know is that he’s Japanese, and the youngest of the Top Ten of Ordo Noros. He’s very strong, magically and physically. Most people are a bit confused about how and where (and how) he learned his skills, but that’s a secret he keeps much better than most of the secrets he knows.

Age: 50-ish (appears 19)
Race: Long (Eastern Dragon)
Height: 5’ 3”
Build: Slim

Jade is short and slim, with long raven black hair which is straight as a razorblade. Her almond shaped eyes are a bright shade of violet and her face is somewhat round in shape. She’s somewhat dainty. Her forearms are covered in white fur and she has three bar-scales on the front of the furred area. Her hands are somewhat paw-like and each finger is tipped with a black claw. Her ears are slightly pointed. She wears a dark read kimono tucked into a matching Hakama with a white Obi tied around the waist. She wears white tabi (socks) and Geta (sandals) of some sort of light wood. Her Numeral Eight is tattooed on the right side of her lower back.

Her dragon form is about eighty feet long with white fur and a purple frill ending in a tuft on the tip of the tail. Her forepaws are hand-like, her hind doglike. She bears the same barscales on her forearms in dragon form as she does in humanoid form.

Skills/abilities: White magic, Transformation from humanoid to Dragon form, mastery of swordplay and throwing weapons, as well as mastery of use of the Razor Fan.
Equipment/weapons: A Wakizashi and a Katana, a razor bladed folding fan and a plethora of throwing weapons.

Personality: Jade is somewhat proper, and though she is kind, she can be very stern.
Short bio: Jade is high up in the royal family of the land where she comes from. Her Grandfather is the known as the Emperor of Secrets, and he is the ruler of her homeland. Various circumstances lead to Jade growing up on the streets until she was 12 years old, though most people couldn’t guess by looking at her as she is beautiful and well kempt. She carries that air of Royalty around her at all times and she is very proper. This is mostly due to these things being drilled into her head after she was found and brought into the Royal Family.

Age: 27
Race: Human
Height: 6’5”
Build: Athletic

Lhekiel has longish curly black hair and an unshaven angular face what generally bears a wry smile and half closed, smiling eyes. He wears baggy black pants tucked into calf-high turned down boots and a white, full-sleeved shirt, unlaced at the neck. All of this is covered by a deep blue riding coat dusted in silver keys (the symbol of the Abhorsen) which goes down to his knees. He wears it open, all in all looking rather casual most of the time. His Numeral Nine is tattooed on his right shoulder blade.

Allegiance: Ordo Noros

Skills/abilities: He is The Abhorsen, dedicated to righting the atrocities of Corrupted Magic and Necromancy, as well as combating the Dead that dare to walk in Life. He uses a powerful kind of Runic magic known as Charter Magic and special Bells to combat these forces. He is a very skilled mage and in the words of the Greater Dead being Lenore, his will is Indomitable, which is key to using the Bells effectively.
Equipment/weapons: The Bells are as follows:
• Ranna is the smallest of the Bells and is called the Sleepbringer. It lulls all who hear it into sleep.
• Mosrael is the Waker. Its purpose is to call the dead back to Life, with the compromise of throwing the wielder into Death.
• Kibeth is known as the Walker. It can give the Dead movement, or force them through the gates of Death. It can however cause the wielder to go where they would not normally.
• Dyrim (called the Speaker) gives the Dead a voice they may have lost. It can also silence a freely moving tongue.
• Belgaer (called the Thinker) is the thinking bell. It can give a Dead spirit back their memories, and give independent thought, but can just as easily erase it.
• Saraneth (called the Binder) is the bell that binds the dead, causing them to move to the wielder's will.
• Astarael (Called the Weeper, or the Sorrowful) is the banisher. When rung properly, all who hear it are cast far into death- the ringer included.

He also wields a Charter Spelled blade with no name. This blade is particularly effective against Dead or Corrupt beings.

Personality: Lhekiel is very easygoing, preferring to joke around and have a good time than to fight or argue. He and Maya Reed are very close friends, and they’ve been known to get in a lot of trouble when left alone together. However, he doesn’t ever drink or anything similar. He prefers to never be under the influence of anything other than his own mind.
Short bio: Lhekiel is new to the position of Abhorsen. He’s been training since he was seventeen, but hasn’t very frequently faced things of extremely high power. He’s been fighting Lenore on and off for a year, never managing to keep her Dead for more than three months. He eventually found his way into Ordo Noros and has managed to become one of the top Ten.



Name: Lenore
Age: Unknown. It’s assumed she in ancient.
Race: When she was living, she was a Dray’kin. She is now something entirely else...a Greater Dead Adept
Height: 5’9”
Build: Anorexic looking – you can see her ribs when she takes off her shirt, like too little skin is stretched over her frame.

Appearance: Once she managed to bring herself back into life, she retained much of her old form, but she doesn’t HAVE to if she doesn’t want to. She can change forms at will; her shape is fluid as she no longer has a living body. The form she keeps the most is that of her once living self: tall, thin, and scaly. Her face would be beautiful if she weren’t covered in dark green scales and if her silvery-green eyes weren’t so cold and soulless. She is mostly humanoid, but her legs are digitigrade and fully dragon-like with broad feet, each toe tipped in a deadly black talon. She also bears a long draconian tail and huge dragon-like wings. Her hair is long and black to match the talons on her hands and feet.

Allegiance: Black Moon

Skills/abilities: She was once a very powerful Necromancer and Corrupted Magic user. Now that she’s Dead, it’s unclear exactly what her abilities are.
Equipment/weapons: Claws, teeth and a greatsword inscribed with Draconian runes. It bears a moonstone in the base of the pommel, but it’s cracked and has gained a reddish tint, as if tainted with blood.

Personality: Harsh, twisted, and downright evil. If she is causing pain, she is “happy”...or at least has a smile on her face.
Short bio: Lenore’s history is mostly a mystery. Myrdred Tawl and Jade Long fought her on Lemura when she was still a living being. She put up a difficult fight, but was eventually defeated by the Human Kuro Kage, Jade’s Teacher and friend. They had thought to be rid of her for good after that, but it’s hard to kill a necromancer as powerful as the Death Mage Lenore.
Once she managed to emerge back into life, she sought the Black Moon and became one of their top agents, which is what allows her to reap the Life she requires to stay in the realm of the Living. She consumes the souls of those she kills; those that she doesn’t consume she enslaves.
