Hey everyone. First things first, this thread is not just for me to post pictures. This is for the forum as a whole. Are you in to cosplay but you can't figure out how to do that one thing? Maybe one of your peers will have an idea how to tackle the problem. Got some cosplay projects you want to share? Post reference pics, images of your work space, materials, WIPs (works in progress), finished results, con photos, and photoshoots. I want to see what you guys like cosplaying as and it would be cool to share resources with your fellow RPA-ers.

Okay, so as you may have seen, my proudest three cosplay moments were cosplaying Auron (FFX), Ezio Auditore (ACII), Sam Fisher (Splinter Cell: Conviction) and Punisher (MARVEL COMICS). My current projects for the next two cons are as follows.

Anime Los Angeles: 'Old Man Ezio'. I am sure many of you are anticipating the release of Assassin's Creed: Revelations. I am currently on the hunt for a Revelations's costume with accurate detail. So far, all the pre-made costumes are either the wrong shade of blue or are made of plain old ugly-ass materials. That leaves comissions or making it myself (shudders). I am growing my beard and hair for the roll and if I do my hair and beard with the same care I did for Sam Fisher, I'll look 3-4 times my age.

Hopefully I will be able to score some decently priced extension blades that don't break after a few uses. If anyone is going to Anime LA this year, I could use some minio... I mean Assassin brethren. Toying with the idea of using a cane as a joke towards Ezio's age.

Secondly, for next year's comic con, my buddies and I are aiming to do an Avengers Cosplay group. I got drafted to be the Thor for our group. The hair I am growing for Ezio will continue to be grown out in to a mane and I am on a strict workout regiment that has added half and inch in muscle to my arms in the past few weeks. Building the proper mass to be Thor is easily the greatest challenge.
The costume itself is simple in comparison. I am doing the sleeveless thor, as seen in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, because the scale mail is too expensive and doesn't fit the contours of ones body properly in real life as it does in comics.

what about you guys?
