Well I just came across THIS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4IoUo_ZJkY) gem and figured I'd share the misery.
That faint whirring sound your hearing is the sound of the original Stooges spinning in their graves.
I can't even explain in words why this just feels wrong on every possible level, it just... does.

*stares in unbelief before running away crying like a little sissy girl*
I need a ton of ice cream to make the guilt of watching this go away...and about a ton of sprinkles with that ice cream!

I wouldn't, and agian I'm not sure why this is so painful to watch. I mean take out the bikini wearing nun and that part where Curly apperently barks at a woman (God fucking help me I actually had to externalize that sentence) and it's more or less exactly what I'd expect from a modernized 3 stooges. So why does merely thinking about this trailer make me want to die?

I felt that way when they tried to do the Honeymooners remake.

... Kind of seem like the doopy Three Stooges to me... but the Three Stooges always sucked dry beans in the first place. *Runs from pitchforks* I don't know, I'm too young and youthful to care for those lame comedians, and not just because I hate them, or want to smudge on you guys fun, but they didn't seem that different than when I saw them in black and white...
To prove me wrong, show me a clip where the original Three Stooges did anything remotely funny.

I found them funny in small doses, but they got annoying quick for me. But then slapstick isn't my cup of tea.
Honestly though, I can't really think of any old TV shows that were made better and didn't rape my childhood on the big screen. Cept for the Addams Family. That was cool XD

Yeah, I can agree with that, sure, spur of the moment, their spontaneous stupidity can be pretty funny, but it's the ol' banana peel; it's only so many times you can laugh at a person slipping on a banana peel. After a while, your brow start to lower ever so slightly *stare*
I get where your coming from, as I hear this from a lot of people, but I've actually never been disappointing by a remake; I love Alice in Wonderland, I'm obsessed with it, and I found Tim Burton's adaption to be very nice. Unlike some, I didn't expect for the movie to be Disney/book turned human, but it's not as if I threw every Lewis Carroll theory to the wind, I just think he did a mighty fine job of creating AIW over again, with a different twist.
Maybe it's because Burton's a fantastic writer, maybe it's because I'm equally obsessed with Tim Burton, but he remade a lot of my childhood favorites (yes, Willy Wonka too) and I think he's done a pretty good job of it.
The only remake I really hate to where I want to find the directer and assassinate him, is Dragon Ball Z. One main reason is because it had absolutely nothing to do with the original, and not only that, but DBZ is a drawing, never before been real, so the first DBZ movie I would like to see is a remake of the cartoon, not an AU story. Oh, and a lot of comic turn movies sort of rile me up, mainly X-Man: I hate every. last. X-Man movie.
