Kicking the dirt, groaning in disappoint, and scolding myself for being so immature about this. Afterall, he was only going to be gone for a little while for college then come back for a vacation! But still, I couldn't help it... Dan was leaving, without me! How dare he do such a thing? And to me, of all people? Stupid brothers! They're only here to ruin our lives...

"Look, I really am sorry Hecate. But there arn't any colleges here, I'll call every week. I promise." He was trying to look me in the eyes because I could feel his eyes on me.

"You always say that... And what do you do? FORGET. I can't accept your apology, much less your stupid, unbelievable promise. Whatever. Go! I don't care anymore!" I stormed up the stairs, blocking out the protests from Dan and Mom. Yeah I'm acting spoiled, but what else am I suspossed to do? The only person I love left is leaving! Just great.

Okay, yeah he's not the only person left, I love Mom. But still. He's leaving and she's next, knowing my rotten luck. Wait, why am I being such a brat!? I really do sound like Maya... Great... that's it, time for some music.
