[PG-13] The Door of Destiny. (IC)

This is the story of two fated teens. Two teens who have never met before, and may never again. When this story begins neither knows the other even exisist. However, though they don't know it yet, these two have always been destined to meet. And though in our world you can fight destiny. In some you can not. But what happens when these world collide? Well that is what this entire story is about.

In this tale our "heros", meet in a most peculiar way. They meet in a world of destiny. Neither of them has ever been before, nor will they ever return to once they have left. These two have a destiny in that world, and in that world you can't fight destiny, you can merly direct it's path untill you get where your going. These two have been brouth to this world either save it from destruction, or damn it to desicration.

This world is world not to diffrent from our own however. In this inner beauty is the true beauty. In this world your past forms your future. (but then again dosent it in all worlds?)In this world who you are, decides who you will become. I am being very vauge though aren't I? Please, excuse me and allow me elaborate.

In this world your deepest desires fuel your power. No that doesn't mean if you have always loved flying you can fly. No, no, you see YOU don't decide what you want. What you want is bassed on what youve done, and what has been done to you. You can't change what you trully want just as much as you can't change the past. Though that doesn't mean who you are is who you will always be, though that is possible. No, this world, just like our own, is a world of change. In this world these two will see who they were meant to be.

These two, simple, run of the mill, teens were about to enter together into a fantastic journey of myth and magic, light and dark, rhyme and reason, love and loss, joy and pain, and they are going to see the fine line between each of these. These two were about to open a DOOR, the door of destiny.

Emily sighed as the last period of the day was coming to an end. She tapped her pencial anxiouse to get out, her usual agenda for thed end of the day was get out of class, get to her locker, get her books, and get out. She tried hard to past the bullies that harrased her everyday even her freinds couldnt do anything they were to scared. She flipped some pages in her notebook and took her pencial and drew a line. The last few minutes of class she drew. Her pencial tip broke when the sound of the last period bell rang.
Emily stood from her seat and grabbed her notebook, pencials, textbooks, and papers and placed them in her hot pink backpack. She was always the first to leave but today she was stop by Miss.Henderson.Emily may i talk with you for a minute? Miss.Henderson asked in a kind voice. Emily slid her hand from the doorknob to her side and walked to the teachers desk. They waited till the shuffling of feet left the room. Some snickerd at Emily and others mouthed names at her.you wanted to talk miss? Emily asked Miss.Henderson as she took of her glasses and placed them on her desk Is everything alright at home and in school? Because you look like youve been being abused. Emily shrugged and pulled down her sleeves to cover the bruises.im fine Miss.Henderson nothings been happing ive just been clumsy lately and have been bumping into alot of things.Emily tried to say this in her best not fake tone as she could. Of course she was lieing it was all the bullies faults she had bruises and such. Seeing the look on Miss.Hendersons face of disapproval, Emily just smiled and assured her everything was fine. Miss.Henderson just sighedalright Emily but if theres anything or anyone bothering you come and talk to me ok?[/] Emily smiled and nodded. Ms.Henderson looked at the paper work on her desk[B] Have a good day Emily Rose Miss.Henderson said. you to miss.Henderson and with that she walked to the door twisted the door knob and walked out, she shut the doir behind her and proceeded towards her locker.
Emily turned her lock 2 times around to the right and stopped on 3 then she turned it one time around and stopped on 24 then turned it right agin and landed on 30, and with that her lock popped open and her locker aswell. She opened her bag and put some text books and papers in her locker. She replaced the empty spots in her backpack with art supplies and one textbook. She took her lock and closed her locker with a click. She slipped her arms in the backpack and walked through the hallways of the school with silence. A girl with brown hair ran up to her.Hey Emily! It was Emily's freind Mia.Hey MiaShe said with a smile.So wanna come to my place? Hang out? Emily thought for a second.sorry i cant i have to study and all. Mia frowned.Awwwa man but next time you better be able to come! With that they both laughed.Well i better get going lots of stuff i gotta do Emily looked down the hall.ok seeya Emily! Mia ran off in a diffrent direction to meet with freinds. Emily sighed as she walked through the front doors of the school.
Emily was walking through the front courtyard of the school when two sassy girls walked on either side of Emily and bumped her hard. Emily dropped her stuff in her hands, the girls looked back.Watch were your going!one girl said as the other snickerd.The other looked foward and saidLoser! as they walked away Emily bent down and picked up her stuff. She couldnt help but tear up when she walked home.
After a few blocks of walking Emily reached home and grabbed out her key and unlocked the front walking inside her house she slammed the front door flew her bagg on the floor and ran upstairs and into her room closing the door behind her. She slid down the door and pulled her knees to her chest and cryed.

Cloud sat there face burried in a pillow. He hadn't eaten in five days. Heck he hadn't moved in five days. He just layed there in disbelife. Today though, today he wasn't just lying there in a daze, he was crying, he was dying, he was alone.

Cloud lay there for an hour, then two, and so on. He wasn't sure what time it was when he heard a loud knock at the door. He didn't move, he heard the lock open, followed by the dead bolt. "Cloud! You ASS! Get down here!" Cloud recognised the voice it's owner was Ben, also known as Cloud's best friend. Cloud heard Ben storm up the stairs. "Ass get up now!" he said throwing open the door to Cloud's room. He didn't wait for a response. He stormed over to Cloud and punched him in the face. "You fucking Ass!" Cloud just took it. "Why! Why weren't you there? Why weren't you at her funeral!" When Cloud still didn't move, Ben grabbed him by the collar, picked him up out of his bed, and threw him on the ground. "Look at me damn you!" Ben grabbed Cloud and flipped him on his back. He got a glimps of his eyes, before they flicked away, they filled to the brim with tears. Ben just looked at Cloud.

"Fine. Forget you, if you didn't care about my sister thats fucking fine with me." Ben turned and began to walk out, but then he stopped in the door way, "But is that fine with you?" he asked. Ben turned around hearing Cloud get up, this time it was Ben who got punched. Cloud sent him realing into the hallway beside the stairs with a right hook to his face.

"I do care for her. You know better than anyone how I felt about her. She was my fiance. How could you say I don't care for her?" He looked at Ben's face a bruise was already starting to appear, while Cloud didn't have anything more than a red mark.

"If you cared for her you would have been there yesterday, you would have said goodbye. If you cared for her, you would have saved her." Ben had just stood up when he said this, big mistake. Cloud punched him again sending him down the five stairs and inot the wall before they turned right and continued down.

"Ben... shut up. now." Cloud walked past his bleeding friend down the stairs. He grabbed his coat, put it on and left. Cloud got in his car and drove for about thirty minutes. He stopped along the way and got Sierra some roses. Once he got there he got out, and walked straight to a giant oak tree that grew beside a cliff face. He stopped when he came near and obbserved the new addition to the open field, a jaged roughly cut headstone at the foot of the tree.

Here lies Sierra Lockheart
A beloved daughter,
A carring friend,
A cherrished sister,
A person who truly knew love.

Cloud slowly walked twoards the headstone, placing the roses infront of it. "Hey Sierra... rembered your birthday. I thought it bring some closure just to say your name. Left a dozen roses on your grave today... I just came to talk for a while, I-I've got some things I need to say." Cloud paused not thinking he could go on, but he had to get closure. "Now that your gone, All I want do is hold you. But I've gotta live with the choices I made. I swear I'd do it diffrent if II got the chance, I don't even remember what we arguing about... I'd give up all the world right now, just to see your smile on last time. Sierra... I'll see you in another life. I still love you... and I always will." With that he placed his wedding band on the roses, and left.

Emily cryed for a good 30 minutes or so. She finally stood up and walked over to a big mirror. She stood infront of it and pulled her sleeves up revialing scars and bruises. She looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes teared up agin as she saw the sight of her own body. It was horribally wounded from so many past abuses and harrasments in school and at home. How did i let myself get so beaten up like this... She shoke her head and grabbed her pillow and sat on the window seal of her room looking out at the open scenery. Some kids ran by the house laughing and skipping, playing ball and tag. She smilled abit and looked around seeing trees and bushes rustle in the wind. She grabbed a sketch book and sat on the window seal with the pillow and sketch book on her lap. She opend the book and looked through its pages. She couldnt help but smile at them because they were all happy. Emily tried to make the best of the life she had.

Cloud got in his car, but he didn't leave. He just sat there starring back at the grave. He got out and walked back over to the oak tree. Once he got there he simply sat down beside the headstone leaning against the tree. He sat there and though. Today was supposed to be his wedding day. His wife's birthday too. That didn't happen though. Now today was the worst day of his life.

Cloud leaned on the tree pondering what could have been if she were still here. "I shouldn't have let her go. I should have made her stay." he moaned as he finished this. He thought back to that night, the night she died. He had, had a bad feeling about letting her go, but things like that never had much weight with him.

"Come on, don't go. Your friend can wait till tomorow to see you. There is a storm coming in. Please just stay." He had begged her. "You know I can't stay, she's my bridesmaid and she just lost her dad. She needs someone to be with her." Sierra argued as she put on her coat. "Besides I can can drive pretty well. I didn't wait a year like some people." She gave him a little smirk with that. "I'll see you tomorow. I love you." she called back as she walked off the porch into the rain. "Love you too." Cloud said, but his voice was lost in a boom of thunder. He saw her look a little sad that he hadn't returned her 'I love you.' as she drove away.

Just then Cloud jolted awake. He looked around and saw nothing but stone all around him. 'Where am I?' he thought as he sat up. He looked forward and saw a layer of vines infront of his face. He poked his head out into a sunny day, blinding himself. After a minute he got his vision back. He looked at the tree he had fallen asleep on. It seemed he had turned or something in his sleep, and his head fell of the trunk of the tree and behind the vines.

Cloud looked back at the vines, "What is this place?" he asked himself. He walked back in, it was a little low for him, but he managed. It was a cave that went fairl deep into the cliff. He walked along the cave that slowly curved to the left, he notted light coming in up ahead and thought he might come out on the other side of the tree, but he didn't. It opened up to a large cavern, a hole in the top letting light in, and the constant flow of a small stream. He looked around and then it hit him. "This is that cave! Where we used to play soo long ago. This is where I met Sierra. When Ben brought me here."

Cloud looked around there was a few drawings on the walls made with some slate rock. He saw some of his drawings as a kid, 'so... simple.' he thought. He walked around to where the little waterfall poured, it created a stream inside the tunnel, it flowed twoards where the tree would be if it contiued, but there was hole in the ground and the stream continued flowing somwhere else. Cloud couldn't belive this place was still here. It shoud have caved in on itself forever ago, but here it was before him, virtually unchanged, except for most of their drawings being washed away. He picked up a piece of slate and sat down next a large boulder, and began to draw.

Emily sighed and put her sketch book down. She moved her legs so her feet touched the floor. im gonna go for a walk she got up and walked down to the front door were she put on her black boots and opened her door and walked out. She was greeted by a cool breeze that shoke her. Emily walked off her front porch closing the door behind her. She walked around her house and stopped at the back gate wich would lead into a forest.
Emily looked at the wide open trees as she opened the gate and walked on a trail of leafs. The rusl of leafs as the wind blew over them soothed Emily. She trailed her hands along the trees as she walked deeper into the forest. The animals that were near scurried away from Emily but she just laughed and continued walking.
She stopped when she walking into a clearing seeing a smooth running river.wait a second...ive been here before... she walked up to the river side and kneeled down as she poked the rivers surfaced it all flowed back into her. this is were i ran to when i got bullied, or when i wanted to be alone... Emily smiled and sat down looking at the river. She rember coming after the first day she was harrased. She sat here for crying but the sound of the water calmed her as if it knew she was hurt.
Emily trailed her fingers over some dirt drawing a symbol of waved. She smiled at the peice and quite. She let the breeze blow through her hair as she closed her eyes and looked at the sky. This was one place she could truly be happy.

Cloud had finished his drawing. He sat there and stared at it. "I miss you Sierra." he said with a sigh. He stood up and turned twoards the entrance tunel, stopping for a moment to look at three pictures in a row. One of him, one of Sierra, and One of Ben as kids, with the words "We'll all come back some day. He looked at them for a moment. He picked up some slate again and began to add to the picture. He signed his name, and craked a smile. Sierra had already come back and put her name. She had been here.

"This world has been changed." Cloud heard threw the cave.

"Who's there?" He demanded standing as he looked around.

Bound by destiny. The voice continued.

"What are you talking about? Where are you?" Cloud demanded again louder.

"The door, it has been opened. Those chosen by destiny must enter." The voice kept as monotone as ever.

"What door? What are you talking about?" Cloud asked as he went deeper into the cave. He came to the cave wall and nothing was there.

"Do not be afraid, your loved one's are not yet to far gone." As the voice said this Cloud felt a burst of wind from behind him. He ran back to te entrance of the cave and found it blocked by a door (http://photobucket.com/images/door%20to%20darkness%20icons%20kingdom%20hearts/).

"What the..." Cloud walked twoards the door and it opened twoards him. A waveof darkness poured out over him, followed by a blinding light. Cloud slowly walked in. As he did he heard the voice continue.

"Never forget you two are destine to seal the door..."

Emily trailed her hand over the smooth water. This all felt like a dream. She sat there thinking about what had happend today,yesturday,her whole life. It was just wrong. She stood and felt the wind on her skin she felt alive then. Like the whole world slipped away, no bullies, no mom and dad, no anybody just her. Then she opened her eyes, but this time infront of her was a bride.
"What the..." She looked at the bridge. It wasnt here before? right?
This world has been changed a misteriouse voice suddenly appeared.
Emily looked around, and backed up abit.
It had been bound by destinythe voice continued.
Emily just listend.
Past the bridge and beyond the trail, the door had opened, the ones choosen by destiny shall enter
Emily looked at the bridge, then crossed it. She began walking a stone path thatvled into a tunnel of trees, and at the end of the tunnel, was a locked door.
Beyond it lies something foretold, dont be afraid,enter.
Emily looked at the door, she walked closer to it. But when she did it opend before her eyes and a peircing light shown. Emily walked in, hearing the voices final words.
Two destined to seal the door...
