The port of Littleton, CA was a quiet, peaceful southern California town, not far from San Diego and not far enough from LA as far as the town was concerned. A little off the beaten path, it was a quiet community. Until....
A small earthquake rocked the town at 6:23 AM Tuesday, March 16, 2010. While no one was harmed, the town closed the schools and public buildings while safety inspectors checked the buildings and water lines - but the most important damage was overlooked.
A tall lump of obsidian lying in the center of a rock garden in the park had cracked - and something hidden inside was glowing.
All too soon, the townsfolk of Littleton, CA will stop worrying about the illegal aliens from south of the boarder and start worrying about the illegal aliens from outer space; the odd new superpowers some of them have gained - heroes and villains alike; and when will the Army show up to quarantine the town? But what does this have to do with the newly opened "Gadget and Gizmo Emporium" on the corner of Main Street and Park Avenue?

However, while you have a super power, we still have the human frailties.
You can have up to two super powers but for each super power, you must have a weakness. The more powerful you are, the more common your weakness! Super-strong - and scared of the dark. Able to leap moderately tall buildings in a single bound - but scared of heights. (superhero comedy, remember?)
