RATED PG-13 FOR VIOLENCE AND POSSIBLE SEXUAL SITUATIONS (which is highly unlikely really...) AS WELL AS LANGUAGE
The light from the windows illuminated the halls as Ariel watched as the rookies began trying out aerial maneuvers for their training. They were all training... training for the war, as well as a run in with one of the generals... even the worst ones- the ones that serve the lord of Light.
"What are you doing inside?" Ariel heard the masculine voice and rolled her eyes.
"What are you doing outside?" She pointed out to him.
Michael stepped next to her and grinned, his wings ruffling in the sunlight. "You should train... after all, who knows when you and your patrol might have a run in?" Michael said teasingly to her, but with a bit of worry.
"Like we will... all of HIS generals are probably in the deepest pits of hell... what are the chances of that happening? I mean, they would never upon never lounge about the face of earth. You know his time served is nearly up, Michael..." she said, looking into the archangel's eyes with determination. Michael looked away at Ariel's gaze.
"I know, Ariel..." he said guiltily. He looked out the same windows as her.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
Ariel smiled a bit. Too bad such a place will be running with demons when the final war is waged... she didn't dare say it aloud, in fright of angering him. She quickly hurried down the hall, and out the door, scared that Michael would sense her aura that raged around her and clung to her like a mist. She sighed to herself and opened her white wings which were together bigger than her, and took off to the air. She dodged other angels flying by who stopped mid flight and saluted her, which she saluted back. She finally came to a spot that was empty of any angels on the soft clouds of heaven. She ran her fingers through her Blonde hair... so many emotions ran through her mind... so many thoughts. She looked at the setting sun that dawned oj the clouds, turning their white color to a majestic gold. This would be her last night at the safety haven of the clouds of heaven, for tomorrow she was to be deported back down to Earth.

(I wish you would have made it M or R XD)
Things were quiet in the Ghetto, which was odd. A lone figure tromps down the sidewalk. It has both masculine and feminine features. Let's call it a he. He stops at a run-down, but still in use church. He enters it, there is a service going on. His sword appears in his hand, and he enters the main area. As he walks forward, the mass stops, and all eyes go on him. The church is packed with 200 people. The priest speaks up. "Why do you enter this house of God with a weapon drawn?" "God? God is dead. And even if he wasn't, you are a bunch of hypocrites anyway, and he wouldn't bother with you." A big muscled man gets up and grabs the figure from behind. "How dare you say that about our Lord!" "Pitiful carrion." He elboes the man in the ribs hard enough to make him fall to his knees. He then turns around, grabs the man by the throat, and lifts him clear off the ground. The man gasps and gurgles, but then the figure crushes his neck, he then throws the man at the large crucifix on the wall, and it crashes to the ground. Panic sets in, and people are scrambling to escape. everyone is rushing, but the doors are too small, and open inwards. "What do you want?!" The figure grins. "Your immortal souls." Sounds of killing and screaming can be heard echoing as the church-goers are slaughtered and the church is defiled.

He pushed through the doors and immediately the commotion of the others hushed down. He folded his brown tipped wings and walked up to another man, who seemed to be around the age of 30 perhaps? But was the only person in the room without wings... the other angels bowed as Michael passed them, and the brown tipped winged man knelt before the other man.
"My Lord," Michael said before the man, who motioned for him to rise.
"Hello, Michael," the man said with a warm smile, and motioned for the other angels around them to sit. There were 7 of them all together, including Michael and the kind man. The other 5 sat in their chairs, and Michael sat on the left of him.
"What be the matter, gentlemen?" The kind man addressed to them.
A man with a light suited armorial, that almost seemed to glow, stood up from the circle of angels.
"My Lord, a report was made out from a patrol near one of the... err... less fortunate areas, of a massive killing amount of people in a sanctuary of God... Sir, people were killed in one of the holiest places of all- a church."
The man looked down in worry, and motioned for the angel who had spoken to be seated.
"Thank you, Gabriel..." he replied ot the angel.
Gabriel nodded and sat down.
Murmurs whispered through the five generals, and the man stood up.
"Does anyone know who could be responsible for such a daring risk?"
The crowd became silent, fearing for one of the worst... None spoke up, because none knew who exactly could be responsible.
"From now on tonight, none will take on this threat... I fear it may be the worst, but we are not as strong as we can be. None will be released to that designated area, without permission."
Michael's eyes went a bit wide, "But, what of the scouts that are to be deported tomorrow?" He asked the man.
"Besides the groups that are assigned to be, then yes. But they shall be cut back 10 days..." he stood up and with him, the generals did and were all dismissed.
Michael turned around before joining the others and walked back to the man, who began to walk outside onto the open air. The moonlight turned the white clouds silver against the dark blue night sky that was dotted with white stars. The man stood against a golden railing and looked out at the endless clouds.
"Yes, my Lord?" Michael said, standing behind the man.
The man chuckled. " I could feel your worry and a hint of anger?"
"No, not-" Michael said before getting interrupted.
"At me... yes I know... but you should not fear for her, Michael. She will be okay... trust me."
Michael bowed. "Thank you, my Lord."
The man waved his words away. "You know my name, and that title is still something I will not warm ho to exactly..." the man said.
Michael straightened up. "Thank you, Jesus."

The sun shone brightly in the morning, and Ariel zoomed and zipped through the air.
The wind whipped around her, and a wide smile played across her lips. Her white feathered wings were enraged with a power, that none could take away from her... well, not while she was in heaven that is... she zipped through the wind as the memory came to her.
"Sir," she asked in her young childish voice. "What does happen when an angel can no longer fly?"
He smiled at her, but it became a bit clouded with sadness. "It's a sad thing, really... when an angel's wings are taken from them, then it splits into three different feathers."
She looked at him confused. "How can an angel's wings be split into three parts?"
He looked at her with a mask of sadness.
"One part for the In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit... They would be hidden in different places..."
Ariel wondered what these three different places would be...
"Where would these three feathers go?"
"ARIEL!" Michael yelled at her. She stopped and swooped down next to him on the cloud. A group of angels began playing around with eachother, prodding one another withe their sharp swords, and laughing when the person would shy away. Michael motioned for her to get this over with, and leaned against a wall and watched as Ariel walked up to the new trainees.
"LISTEN UP YOU DELINQUENTS!" Ariel yelled over their commotion, making them stop what they were doing immediantly, and straighten their postures.
"YOU WILL HAVE YOUR FIRST VISIT DOWN TO THE GROUND. You may NOT interact with any humans. You may NOT inform anyone who you are. And most importantly, you spot a demon, or worst, a general, you,l must not, under all circumstances, engage. Do I make myself clear?"
They all saluted her in response, some even sweating, for who she was. "You are dispatched."
Michael walked up to her as the trainees headed of to the flight dispatch to Earth. "You missed the meeting last night."
"wiry bout that, but nothing good happened while I was gone, right? Raphael didn't like explode did he? Cause if he did, then I hope you got it on video..." she said jokingly. Michael's face was stern and serious, and Ariel immediantly lost the smile.
"10 days cut back for safety percautions, alright? Don't engage any contact, and-"
Ariel stopped him with a hand. "I'll be alright. After all, you know very well I can kick just about anyone's asst, right?" Ariel said with a grin before heading off to the depatch zone, waving her goodbyes to Michael who watched her go sadly.

-3 days later, The Vatican-
It is noon. As usual, the pope give his daily mass, which is broadcast throughout the world. Hundreds of people gather in the courtyard below to listen to this holiest of men speak, and millions tune in around the world. Mass is about to end, when the two cardinals beside him cry out, and die. He turns around, and what next is seen shocks the whole world. The pope gets decapitated. The same figure, who had slaughtered an entire church, grabs the pope's head, and kicks his lifeless body off of the balcony. The figure steps up to the microphone, and holds up the decapitated head of the now deceased leader of the Christian religion. "Do you see this? Your faith is meaningless. Your God cannot save you. Nothing can save you. You are all doomed, doomed to spend an eternity in the fires of hell." He then leaps off the balcony, as an explosion rocks the Basilica, setting it aflame. Rubble falls, trapping those inside it. Several guards line up and start firing on him, but the bullets do not seem to faze him. One guard charges him and tries to bash him with his club, but the club is blocked by the black sword, and with his other hand, he reaches into the guard's chest, and rips his very heart out. He then descends on the other fleeing guards and innocent civilians, and begins slaughtering them.

"These kids are driving me insane!" Ariel siad, gripping her her scalp in frustration. The trainees were outside of the tent, when Ariel began hearing the beeping... she imediantly stood up and reached for the device. A hologram of a fellow angel appeared.
"Ariel?" He said looking around cautiously.
"Scout leader, what are you doing? What's wrong?" Ariel said confused.
"I'm in Vatican city and there has been an outbreak... a demon is what I have filed it as, It's had an outbreak... a major, one... I've called in some generals, but they're all busy, except for you! Tell those rookies to head back to the depart center, and I'll take them back. You can hopefully handle this?" The scout leader said to her. Ariel nodded and quickly ended the session.
she stalked outside to the trainees and called them forward. "You are to report back to the depatch platform and mead with the scout leader. The platform is located 5 miles north of the camp. You head there, immediantly, and if any of you follow me, I swear to God I'll file a report to have your wings taken away, understood?"
They all nodded and Ariel sent them off, obviously they were scared obviously from the urgency in her voice. Ariel immediantly took to the air. Vatican city was in view once Ariel went into pure Flying mode, and that was when she saw all hell break loose.
With a draw of her sword, a beam of light hit off of her necklace, and in a flash, Ariel was wearing her prized steel armour, with her pure white wings.
"ENOUGH!" She roared at him, or her... probably an hermaphrodite. The person dislodged their sword from the chest of a civilian, once they spotted Ariel. She drew her holy sword, which was forged with holy water, and very lethal to demons especially.
"CREATURE! YOU ENGAGE ON ME, THEN YOU WILL CALL UPON THE HOUNDS AND GENERALS OF THE VERY HEAVENS!" She roared to them, hoping the person would feel at the least, frighten of her...
"LEAVE VATICAN CITY, BEAST!" She roared at the person, flapping her wings which kept her hovering above the stone street.

Matilda faces Ariel, not even taking a defensive posture. "So, a little birdie has come down to play, then?" He shakes his head. "Such foolishness. Why do they fight? You cannot beat me. It's completely futile. Why not simply run and hide in your heaven? You will live longer. You angel don't give up. I was attacking this orphanage, and these angels came and begged for me to spare the children, to kill them instead. So I killed them, then I killed the children too. Slowly. They died painfully. It made their souls so much better, that added anguish. Back to angels. You know, people reveal their true colors in the moments before they die. So, I believe I know a lot more about your own comrades than you do. Do you want to know how many of them were cowards?"
07-28-2012, 04:13 AM
Ariel gritted her teeth, and her Blonde hair whiped furiously around her face. The wind began to pick up it's pace, and the drum of thunder could be heared as dark clouds began to roll in...
She pointed her sword at the person again.
"Leave, now! You assault our kind, and in the end, it will lead to your destruction. Now, if you do not leave willingly, then I will use force creature!" She roared in a bit of anger to make it sound lethal.
07-28-2012, 04:19 AM
"I see. You have some fight in you. I am afraid I will have to decline. Feeling their agony and terror is just too fun. Is the little baby birdie angry? You gonna flap you wings and sing at me, hmmm? If you think you can scare me, you are sorely mistaken, little girl. I am fine devouring the souls of humans for now, and am not really in the mood for an angel soul right now. Not that I wouldn't take it if offered, but I am letting you off the hook for now. So, run along back to your cloud. Maybe practice with your harp and play with yourself some more. Play at warrior will only get you eaten. Tell your God that he might as well surrender."
07-28-2012, 04:26 AM
Ariel landed angrily on the cobble of the street, shaking the ground around her, as a giant roll of thunder sounded...
"You threaten an angel like me?" Ariel said, eyes skirted in anger. "Do you have any idea who you insult, demon!" She hissed, feeling her sword grow hot as anger surged through her like a burning fire. Lightning flashed as the wind surged in the air around the two.
07-28-2012, 04:37 AM
"Yes I do. You are a lazy, impudent, foul-tempered, ignorant, stupid, pretentious blowhard who makes up for her lack of skill and talent with shiny weapons. You think you know everything. You think you know this world. Look at these humans, even as I cut them down, they scramble to get away, willing to trod over anyone who gets in their way. Like animals, really. I guess you have a lot in common with them." A stunned little girl, no more than seven wanders near Matilda, not knowing what she does. "Ah, a fine example." Matilda sticks his sword in the ground, and grabs her by then neck, making the girl face Ariel, and begins to strangle her. The girls gasps and gurgles, her eyes pleading for help, before a snap is heard, and her body goes limp, and her eyes go dull. He throws the body away like trash. "That is all they are. Weak, useless garbage." He picks his sword back up. "But, you might not agree with me."
07-28-2012, 04:47 AM
Ariel watched helplessly as the girl went limp in the foul creature's hands.
Ariel roared in anger and charged at him, but before she came in contact with him, in a blinding flash of light, she was gone. One second later she appeared behind him and slashed at his side with her sword, but he jumped out if contact. She took to the air with her wings and hovered a couple of feet above the ground, her sword at the ready. Ariel could feel the light touch of raindrops on her skin and feathers as it began to rain. She gritted her teeth in anger, and her steel sword glowed a bit in her hands.
07-28-2012, 05:14 AM
Matilda takes the hit without a flinch. The only injury that happened was a small, superficial cut. "Is that the best you can do? I mean, I have seen some weak angels before, but you take the cake, little girl." He points his sword upward and holds it with both hands as he holds it in front of his face. "Scream symphony..." An extremely loud, and high-pitched wail emanates from the sword, the sound is disorienting as it not only slightly deafens those that hear it, but messes up their soul energy flow. "Know despair." He charges Ariel with inhuman swiftness, and begins to strike her with powerful blows, blows that land like a sledgehammer, partly because of his strength, and also because his sword is vibrating at a high frequency, and one blow is like many.

07-30-2012, 06:49 PM
Ariel clutched her ears as his sword made a ringing noise that painfully hit her ears. She clutched her ears to try and block out the noise, and suddenly when it stopped, Ariel could feel powerful blows upon her armor and skin. With each blow, would grow a crack in her bluish armor... How was that possible?
She rolled out of the way before an even powerful blow could actually break her armor, and swept her feet underneath the hermaphrodite in an attempt to trip him. This bought her enough time to scramble out of it's way and she slowly got up. She drew her favorite sword, Fulger, and pointed up to the sky. A roll of thunder sounded when she did so, and a lightning bolt hit her sword, causing it to swarm with the electrical energy. She readied her sword, prepared from another attack from the creature. The hermaphrodite did not yet fill out the information needed for it to be hostile, for it had not yet drawn her blood...
07-30-2012, 09:32 PM
As she swept her legs under him, he leaps into the air, and swings his blade down to strike at her knee. He looks at her sparking weapon. "As I said, you rely on flashy attacks, and shiny weapons to cover up your own lack of skill. You do not even know your limits. You are nothing but an imbecile, a fool. And so..." In a blur of movement, Mildred appears behind her. "I shall end you." He slashes at her left wing, seeking to cut it off.
07-30-2012, 10:32 PM
Ariel moved out of the way just before he was about to lash out at her wing...
She shivered a bit, as soon as she realized what his objective was.
She wouldn't be able to actually fully attack him until he drew blood, but once he goes for her wings then she would be grounded forever...
All she could do now, was defend.
She grinned at a thought, and immediantly, her wings turned to a silvery steel, but, it was weaker than it looked. Some angels had the ability to control the molecules in their wings, making them lighter or heavier. But Ariel was only a medium at it, and could only make parts of her wings into the silvery steel.
He was attacking... wasn't he?
Ariel didn't think, and only reacted. She twirled her hard wings and tried to somewhat afflict damage to him, and slashed at him with hr sword.
07-31-2012, 04:52 AM
He raises his arm, and her sword hits it...and stops. He blocked her sword with his bare arm. The buffet of wings seemed only to annoy him. The sword strike did seem to somewhat injure him, and there is what looks like blood running down her blade, but it is black, and not the normal neon green that demons have. "Such foolishness. Little birdie, it ends now." Spikes shoot out of the 'blood' running down her blade, aiming for her face, as he aims a thrust at her chest with his sword. His eyes, his cold, cruel, terrifying eyes never leaving hers.
07-31-2012, 07:06 AM
It was then that Ariel had somewhat realized his foolish strategy- he was weakening her rather than drawing her blood...
She had managed to make a cut on his arm, and a blackish liquid that was his "blood" oozed down Fulger, her blade, and sapped away the electrical energy that whizzed around the sword. What was this creature?
Spikes shot out from the black liquid and aimed at her face. Ariel was blinded by the goo as it covered half of her face. She stumbled back and her sword dissolved within the air, which was normal. She grasped at the liquid and threw it hard on the ground. But she wasn't prepared for his last blow- which sent her back many steps, and she skidded across the cobble stone floor. The blow had made a large slash across her breastplate, and the rain fell upon the streets and around her. Ariel was flat on her stomacher and she felt so drained...
"Really wish I had trained right now," she said to herself as she groaned and tried ot get up, but fell back down on her stomach. Her wings protectively folded inwards towards her body, and clenched her jaw from the pain across her chest from the blow. Yet through the entire fight the hermaphrodite had not drawn blood... If it had, then that would be enough to call down the rest of the generals.
07-31-2012, 02:20 PM
(Actually, the spikes were hard and would have impaled her face XD. but this is okay too.)
"You simply don't get it, do you? You cannot win. Whoever sent you here knew this. You were sent to die, your allies will not save you. And I bet part of you knew this would happen. I mean, with how poorly you fight, you must drag them all down. You are a weakling, and that is all you'll ever be." He attempts to stomp on her wrist to break it. He the tries to put his foot on her back, bracing his weight against her, so she can't get up, then grab on to her wings and begins to pull.
07-31-2012, 04:55 PM
"We have to do something!" Michael yelled at the other generals as they watched from the pool of images. Ariel lay on the ground, beaten and broken, and through it all, her wings were the cost of her life.
The other generals looked away, while some watched in horror, others in sadness.
"I am sorry brother... Raphael said, putting a hand on Michael's shoulder. The creature has not yet drawn blood.
Ariel let out a little scream of pain as he stepped on her wrist and broke it. The pain was just too much! And then the worst part came- because he began to pull on her one key to heaven.
"She is going to die if we do not help her!" Michael yelled at him, pointing to the image of the screaming Ariel in the Reflecting pool.
Michael pushed past the other generals and flew quickly with his brown-tipped wings to the throne room.
Jesus was sitting near the railing outside, where the clouds were gray and dull, and a light fall of rain fell down on the heavens which was very rare.
"Why won't you do something, Prince of Compassion?" Michael pleaded to the man.
Jesus did not look at Michael when he answered.
"Even I am not allowed to break my father's rules..." he replied.
07-31-2012, 05:33 PM
"Can you feel it now? Do you see how pitiful you truly are? Your God has abandoned you, your 'friends' have abandoned you. You are alone, you are nothing but a foolish weakling that tried to fight her betters. Your fellow angel have cast you out. They sent you here to fall. That one, Michael, made a deal with me. If I rip your wings off, he will open the gates of heaven to me. He hated you. He hates everyone. He actually wants the throne of God for himself, how ambitious he is, no? Shame you won't get to see the new order of the universe." He pulls harder, and with two pops, the wings dislocate, but are still attached.
07-31-2012, 06:02 PM
Ariel felt a tear fall down her crystal blue eyes as his words of Michael stung him...
He's just lying... He's just lying...
Little 5 yr. old Ariel sat on Jesus's lap.
"Three parts?" Ariel's little voice said in surprise.
"Yes, One in the name of the Father, one in the name of the Son, and one in the name of the Holy Spirit. That's when an Angel's wings are split fully into three parts."
Ariel squirmed harder, and with a dreadful sound, she heard and felt her two wings being dislocated...
Where were the Generals! They could not let her be torn apart like this! Her own brothers could not let this happen to her...
Ariel clenched her jaw as she felt the wave of pain wash over her, and kept herself from screaming.
The rain fell around her, and a roll of thunder sounded in the distance.
Ariel's vision began to blur as the pain seemed to overrule every other sense she had.
07-31-2012, 06:57 PM
With a final tug, her wings rip off, and light streams out of the wounds before they close. Her wings dissolve into dust. Mildred brushes his hands together. "That is that. You are forever cut off from heaven, though you are still immortal. Tell me, what is it like to be forever alone now? If you want, I can put you out of your misery now. Or, perhaps, if you beg me on your hands and knees, and kiss my boots in supplication, I might let you live for now. As long as you do what I say, when I say it."
07-31-2012, 07:12 PM
She felt the pain and the sudden sorrow that washed over her as her wings were finally gone... Her only key to the gates of heaven.
Ariel squeezed her eyes shut as tears began to overwhelm her.
Another roll of thunder sounded, but this time closer, and all of a sudden a lightning bolt hit her, and her body began to swarm with it's energy.
"Go to hell, you bastard..." Ariel spit at him, and with a blinding flash of light, she was gone, and a charred black spot was in her place.
"Whoa, what happened?" Raphael said as the vision disappeared when a flash of light took up the entire screen. The pool faded back to it's silver color, and nothing reflected back. The other generals were gathered around it and wondered the same thing.
"She's... she's gone..." Gabriel said in disbelief.
"How could you let her die?" Michael whispered in anger and sadness for the lost of his sister, and stormed out of the room, leaving the man sitting against the railing, watching as lights flickered in the distance from the lightning storm below...
07-31-2012, 07:29 PM
Mildred grins and turns to face the sheepish humans who had stayed to watch the fight. "Do you see now? Your God has failed. There is nothing you can do, but join The dark one. Kneel." The humans begin to kneel.
In one fell swoop the creature Known as Mildred had cut the head off of the catholic religion, and took over the Vatican. In the weeks that followed, most of Italy joined him, as well as Sicily. People stopped Worshiping The God of man, and the Son. Churches and bibles were burned. Priests were crucified and sacrificed. Death was everywhere in the Boot-shaped country, and it began to spread east. Through Greece, and Saudi Arabia, Heading towards Jerusalem. News reports come every day, reporting on the spreading carnage and chaos.
(Where'd she go?)
07-31-2012, 10:08 PM
A lightning bolt hit the edge of the forest, and Ariel gasped for air. Pine trees surrounded her, and Ariel lifted her head limply as she realized that she had landed herself in a little clearing near a miniature waterfall. The sky returned back to it's clear blue once Ariel had teleported herself anywhere but Vatican city. She coughed once and groaned from the aching pain... She had used up the remaining energy to get herself out of Vatican and- where she was still remained a mystery... probably still in Rome? No... one of her senses told her one word- Russia... where in Russia, unknown...
Ariel's vision began to blur, and she felt her beloved blue armor begin to dissolve into the air, leaving her with her hunting clothes on, and her Blonde hair in a dirty mess. She fought to keep her eyes open, but the sleep that jagged at her eventually won, and Ariel fell asleep right on the spot.
