Ivy stands on the rooftops of the apartment closet to the deli's alley way.Looking for her next meal, she wonders who she will taste tonight.

Sara had been walking for a few hours now. She turned onto devil's alley way and continued on her walk enjoying the night air. Her sapphire blue hues looked up at the sky as she stopped. She did not know she was being watched.

A beautiful girl caught Ivy's eye.She was looking up at the sky oblivious to the fact that she was being watched. Ivy swooped down and was in front of the petite girl in seconds,giving her no where to turn.

Sara gasped as she took hold of her throat. "I...my name is Sara. Please don't hurt me. i have family and a child to live for. Please." she began to beg scared and frightened. She was really to scared to move as she heard the others woman's voice.

Ivy felt something that she has never felt before,remorse. She let go of the Sara. "Well,Sara you have won the gift of life.How does it feel?" She said turning and walking away from her as if she was a wounded bird.

She blinked. That was it? This person who had wanted her dead had just walked away? Well not really one to argue she let out a sigh and went the opposite direction. She walked away happy to have her life still but she wondered who and what this other person was. These thoughts would pleague her dreams as she tried to sleep once she had arrived home.

Ivy glides up the walls and goes back to the rooftops of the apartments,no longer hungry. She still wondered why she had left that girl alive.
