I was fighting zombies two nights ago and one of them dove at me and stabbed me by my left pinky toe with one of its nails.

I got three stiches, and I was supposed to keep them dry for 24 hours, but I got caught in a downpour on the way back from my concert last night and the bandage got soaked, even though I had two plastic bages over it. Long story short, I had to remove the bandage and had to rewrap it with some gauze that my crush gave to me. Let's just say that my wrapping skills suck and all that remains is a piece of gauze that is wrapped around my toes. I had to wear a sock over it to keep it in place when I went to my final today. It was miserable, and I had to walk on the heel of my left boot to avoid the pain.

I dislike most medicine diary.

I prefer not to take medicine, but it's only because I like to suffer physical agony and torment. It makes me feel tougher (although, really it just makes me dumber). When I do need to be on my feet, I help myself to reasonable amounts of medication. But I understand and respect other peoples less than generous opinions of medication.

When I hear the risk disclaimers on TV they sound to outweigh the benefits really.

Dear Diary,

I think that there's a potential risk to everything. But the benefits of medicine far outweigh the potential dangers (at least to me and for me personally). Case in point, earlier this allergy season I had to wait a few days before my health insurance would afford me my antihistamines for my allergies. Being the notorious cheapskate that I am, I elected to not pay out of pocket for the medications, and chose to suffer. The end result? I was a sniveling, crying, sneezing all around miserable little child for four days. As soon as my health insurance came through and I received my pills I have been living as a healthy human being. The pills for me have taken away annoyance and suffering and replaced it with smooth sailing and good times!

I think I'm turning into a zombie! This morning, my foot began hurting terribly, then the pain began to spread through my body. My legs and the lower half of my body are really hurting and my arms are starting to hurt. I hope the pain stops soon.
