Apparently long gone are the days of a warring Downtown. While the peace is indeed peaceful and the days go by without violent incident, I cannot help but feel restless in our complacency.

Perhaps we need war. Perhaps the sectarian violence that kept the Downtown in a seemingly unending tumult with so-called "king" and "queen" vying for dominance was a cruel necessity.

I ramble, Diary. You and I both know that in the event of another conflict I would "get the hell out of Dodge" and take the next train to Vienna.

Here's to an uneventful future.
