What is RPA?

Roleplay Adventures is an online community dedicated primarily to text-based roleplaying. We have a wide variety of roleplays, covering just about every genre, and new and original ones keep popping up all the time. In addition to the great variety of themes, we allow a lot of freedom in roleplaying: here you think your way, write your way, and play your way. We won't tell you what to post. We have some experienced and talented roleplayers who will present a good challenge to those of you who are as experienced and talented as them, and we've got a tutorial section full of tips and tricks so less experienced roleplayers can become better and learn; however, we'd like to stress that we're not an elitist forum in the least bit and even our most experienced writers enjoy roleplaying with relatively new writers. Register now and we'll show you why we're better than every other roleplaying site you've visited.

There is something for everyone on this community, but if you think otherwise please feel free to contact us at roleplay@role-player.net or by sending a private message to any staff member. We hope to see you online soon!

The Annual RPA Awards!

We have so many fantastic members! So once a year, RPA takes time to honor our members for everything they do to make our website wonderful by hosting the RPA Awards! If you haven't nominated yet, do it soon -- once the nominations are over, it's time to vote for who you think best represents our site!

If you're new, or haven't joined yet, don't worry; they'll be back again next year.

Deep in a Japanese forest by the mountains there is a school. The Ninja School. Training ninja and kunoichi to their full capacity. The teachers of course are also ninja and kunoichi as well. The Ninja School was founded right after a war between ninja clans and tribes.

The goal of the Ninja School is to preserve peace. They also hope to train better ninja and kunoichi so that another war won't break out. Lastly ninja and kunoichi are trained so that they can replace the ninja and kunoichi that died in the war. And though allot of ninja and kunoichi died in the war some clans and tribes are still around. In any case students are put through rigorous training. It's a dangerous school where only the best succeed. Fights break out, the forest surrounding the school is filled with traps and monsters. Though anyone can be accepted to the school it's recommended that you don't attend or stop attending if your truly weak of heart. But the school will take anyone who wants to be a kunoichi or ninja. The school has been known to kidnap those who have shown potential.

Ether way... enroll in the Ninja School! Become the best ninja or kunoichi you can be! We're also looking for teachers...

Ninja School!

It's 3812, the moon is dying, and any hope for life on Earth is dying with it. Space exploration missions have been a catastrophic failures. Any potential new home planets have come to nothing, all affected by the toxic effects of our blood-red moon.

As the remaining people of Earth rush to find a new home; this is where you come in. Scouting groups are being put together through a lottery system through sheer desperation. These consist of crews, and colonists, who are forced to give up everything they know for the slim chance that they might be successful. These souls are sent into the void of space with the hope that they might find something feasible, something alive. Both crew members and colonists are sent on these vessels and out into the great unknown, but is there any hope? Or will Earth's time run out before a new planet is found?
