Personally, I think Susanne Collins is a genius, but that's just me.

Plus I think it'd be a killer RP. Tell me that someone else has read this book/series.

I adored The Hunger Games! Honestly, I did not expect too much out of the story but the thrill of the Games pulled me into amazing reveries. Though Catching Fire (perhaps I was just expecting too much), I think, could have had more elements added, I still hold faith in the series as I am currently completing Mockingjay.

1) Favorite trilogy of all-freaking-time, and I read a lot.
2) The movie is coming out soon/next year/i forgot.
3) This would make a fantastic RP. I've actually thought about making one, and I started researching/planning it, but I lost all my papers and never bothered to start working on it again.

I read all three books, and i have to say, while i enjoyed the series, i felt that mockingjay really strayed from how the other two books were written, plotwise.I felt like it was very abrupt but i won't say anymore so that i don't ruin it for the others. Great series, just wish it could have had a bit more continuity.

I was in my college's bookstore the other day and saw that they had The Hunger Games- apparently there's an English class that has it as required reading.

Anyway. I read The Hunger Games about a year ago. I haven't read the last two yet because their price seems stuck at $12, and as much as I enjoyed The Hunger Games, I'm not willing to pay that much for them. That, and I have a feeling Catching Fire and Mockingjay will butcher the whole thing to death, which I don't want to see.
