I stumbled upon this logo/button making website the other day, and I have had some fun with it. You can choose from 36 different Text Logo Designs or 20 Text Button Designs.

The interface is very easy to use. However, RPA forums do not accept the HTML coding CoolText has for MouseOver effects. If you are good at coding, you should take a crack at it.

CoolText.com works with .gif and .png files with transparencies, making certain logos into renders. Some of the button and logo options allow you to choose the size, shape, font, color, effects such as glow, gel, mirror, gradients, and borderlines. Not everyone will take a liking to this site and the logo/button renders; however, it might add some pizazz to your threads.
