I'm not quite catching the idea there. By trainer, I assume you mean either a dummy to practise a neural theatre on or an instructor for the pupils. I'm not seeing how the trainer software will be helpful in the transfer of Reifani to Schizo's body, since he can literally immerse himself with the compact and retrieve the neural map. And since Helen said "We could put you inside Schizo's head and you wouldn't know until afterward," that implies that Lord Euchert will be transferred instead, although I'm not sure why he wouldn't notice.

Schizo can't transfer a persona like Euchert from an organic body straight into himself, he can only copy them and add the new identity to his collection (and even then, Euchert didn't want that). He'll only be able to take the digital map of Reifani from the compact, since it's an electronic device.

Helen said you're third generation - but maybe you're really second generation, with weakened first law restrictions. Which is why you avoid repair places? Up to you.

Sorry for the confusion about who is talking - it's Helen all the time. To copy a personality that's not been prepared like Reifani's emgram, you'd need a neural operating theatre with Schizo plugged into a receiving station. For the compact, you just need to sync with it.

The only problem is that it's not a recent copy - it's from when she was 16.
