    Default Rebellion IC

    (Here we go folks!)

In the isolated and well protected town of Shades Run an older looking man sat at a desk with a stern expression. He had been turned in mid life, an odd occurance, and such looked a bit older then most made vampires. He had darkly tanned skin and black hair with a dashing of gray on the sides. This only served to prove not all vampires were a sickly white...a silly human misconception.

"Ladies and Gents, we have a problem." he stated calmly. There was a hodge-podge of other vampires infront of him. Some were mades, some halfies, even one pureblood, but they all had one thing in common. They were the rebels leaders, and the man speaking was the top dog of them all. The typically friendly and over talkative Mr. Analies. The fact that he was being so serious made the others uncomfortable. "They ruling purebloods, primarily the ever untraceable Saxton brothers, are going to try and turn us into the enemy at this years summit. Currently there is a large population of halfs and common-pures alike who are undecided in this war. We may have the majority support from mades but too many of them are still bound by their masters wishes. If the summit turns the tide in their favor by gaining support we are going to be destroyed..."

Common-pures was how the rebels described purebloods who were not associated with a clan, politics, or the slave trade. They were just other regular vampires free to choose sides in the civil war. The same went for halfs...some where happy with their current positions, but not all of them were. The war could swing either way, but having all rebels named as public enemys was not going to help their cause any...Analies was sure they would be portrayed as murderers and such.

"What do you propose we do?" asked a felmale halfie with dark red, short hair. She was the faction leader from Red Devil and Analies second in command. Her name was Shiba, she simply prefered it that way. No titles and or last names needed. "Should we try to enlist more people to the cause? up our numbers?"

"I think we just need to get rid of them all." Said the pureblood, a young looking male "Get rid of as many as possible before the summit to cut their numbers...upping our own numbers cant hurt either." Chiffton Tylers was a key component to the rebellion. A well liked pureblood, he helped with the rebels image a great deal. He had also been looked down upon in his life by clan associated pures, they thought he was trash because he was truely unassociated. No one was really sure of his linage besides himself. All that was clear was that he held a true grudge.

"We are doing all of the above, and more." Mr. Analies stated and the whole room looked prepared to hear what 'more' was. "We will lower their numbers, increase ours, and then we attack the summit. Now get on the phone with our unit in Yellville. Explain the full situation and tell them its time to start on their hit list. Chiffton, your going to Yellville to work on public relations...keep our name out of the tabloids. No one needs to know its us taking these politicians out."

Then the meeting was dismissed, everyone left, and Shiba made the call to Yellville.

    --------------------------------------

Kayli and AJay were relaxing at their apartment in uptown Yellville. The night was cool, the starts bright, and they were enjoying some drinks on their little back patio area. It was just big enough for two chairs and a bug zapper. Kayli was sipping a vodka and tonic, AJay a glass of o-neg.

"So what do you think is going to happen to us after the summit?" AJay asked. Kayli rolled her eyes and huffed.

"Really? you cant forget the rebels for one night???" she said. Kayli was not one to think about 'work' on her off day. AJay on the other hadn never seemed to stop thinking about it.

"Well...what if the rumors are tru-" he was cut off by his phone ringing. Not his regular phone, but the protected line given to him by the rebels for work calls. Answering it he listened to the news and nodded. Kayli was looking pissed already.

"On our day off?" she questioned with a heavy sigh.

"No work...just a meeting. They are actually getting all the operatives together, something big is going down." AJay told her standing up and stretching. Kayli got up slowly, not really wanting to go but knowing there was no other way. The two left together and wandered the streets until they came to the abandoned 'historical marker' aka a run down manufacturing plant a rebel sympathizer had purchased and protected for the Yellville groups use. Sliping through on of the secret enterances and though security they emerged into a room filled with bustling ops waiting to be addressed by the Yellville leader Mr. Futon.

Marianna Pierce was walking along the top of a fence. It was one of those chain link fences, with the round bars that lined the top and bottom, and sides of each segment of fence. To her, they were the easiest to walk along. She was bored, but she had nothing to do. She wasn't tired, and she didn't have anywhere to be. That was one thing she liked about being on the streets; she could do whatever she wanted, when she wanted. Of course, she had a place to sleep, and that was where she kept her few belongings... But it wasn't really a place she enjoyed hanging out in. It was just her go-between place.

In her boredom, Marianna found herself humming nursery songs and watching the streets. She eventually decided to stand on top of a light-post, still as a human. It was nice to feel the breeze in her hair, rather than her fur. As she idly watched people go by, most of them failing to notice her, she spotted two people whom she knew to be rebels. They looked like they had somewhere to be, and the girl presumed this meant the rebels were holding another meeting. She grinned, and hopped from her perch to a nearby fence, landing gracefully on four paws. She was a black cat, following the two.

Upon arrival at the old manufacturing plant, Marianna turned back into a little girl, out of sight, and was let into the meeting. Although it was known that she didn't actually do much for the rebel cause, she'd been around enough that many people knew of her. She enjoyed sitting in on meetings, seeing people other than herself who wanted something done about the troubles between Purebloods and everyone else. As usual the small girl, this time in a plain yellow sundress and pigtails, prepared to watch the meeting from the back of the room, leaning up against the wall.

Azura was already seated in a chair waiting for the emergency meeting to start. She was on duty that night when Futon called the command center with instructions to inform everyone of the meeting to take place as soon as possible. That usually wasn't ever good, but who was she to complain? There was far worse things in this world than another emergency meeting...far worse.

Spinning around in the chair she gave a nod to AJay and Kayli a small wink to Marianna before continuing a conversation with another member who was talking to her about any hints of the lastest weapon she was designing. "No..and no again no ones but Fulton knows of it until it's at least far enough in the testing stage...and no again I will not give you a hint except for do something else like the good lad you are."

For a Scot her accent was very heavy but for the most part understandable....long as she didn't get too excited or mad then all sorts of words came out of her mouth that would raise several eyebrows. Tapping her dark red nails on the table waiting, she wanted to get back to her place soon.....

C.W. McKnight was already waiting inside the meeting room when everyone started comming in. Being the only full-blood human there, he always felt a bit out of place at these meetings, but he had gotten used to it. He trusted them, and most of them trusted him, though there were still a few who would probably never fully trust and accept him as one of their own. When he saw the little girl, he gave her a half smile and a nod. He didn't know Marianna very well, in fact, he didn't know many people at all on a personal level, but he felt more protective over her than most others. He knew the little girl appearence was just a disguise, her true appearance was around his age, but she had a way about her he found charming.

He also noticed Azura, who looked impatient and wanting the meeting done and overwith. He sympathized with her on that, watching her tapping her fingers on the table. Azura was another person he liked. She was a weapons person, like he was. A hard woman who wasn't one to to put up with any crap. Though they never really talked, other than a few small words over a meal here and there, she was one of those he was most familiar with. She was good company, she never tried to talk his ear off like most people, or get offended by his lack of socialness. He gave her a small nod when their eyes met, a look that said he aknowledged her pressence and it was good to see her.

He then looked at the man talking to Azura and shook his head. He would have been totally ignoring the guy by now, but this talk of a new weapon intrigued her. He took out a small flask of whiskey from his pocket and took a swig before taking a seat at the table across from Azura to wait for the meeting to start.

Kayli and AJay took notice of everyone present before sitting down at one of the tables. Kayli was wanting to go back home already and she noted that Azura was feeling the same judging from her finger tapping habit. She also saw that McKnight was there. She passed him a friendly wave. AJay was being his typical self and saying hello to everyone who passed and said something, but he never seemed to notice the little things like she did.

After a few more minutes it seemed like everyone was present, even the little Marianna who had followed them in. Kayli had known she was there because she had spotted the little black cat following them, AJay once again had not.

Finally Mr.Futon stepped out of his office doors and the room when silent, all ears at attention.

"My fellow Operatives I have recieved a message from our headquarters in Shades Run. There has been new information recieved about the Saxton Brothers in the capitol. Apparently they wish to turn the public against us at the next Summit, its been told they want to pass a bill making us public enemys to be killed and destroyed. With their kind of influence it wouldnt be hard, so we have been given orders to-"

Mr. Futon was cut off by a single person clapping from the corner. Kayli and AJay both looked but saw no one, then as if he had simply walked out of the corners shadow a young blonde male appeared clapping. "Hes a pureblood...." AJay whispered to his sister. His vampire sixth sense of sorts had picked up the fact and he had never seen this vampire before so he was on edge. Kayli was instantly alert, hand on her gun as well.

"It is simply amaxing how well respected you are around Mr.Futon. You send out word of meeting and everyone is here even before I arrive, let alone they all fall silent and listen to your everyword. Very impressive." The blond stopped clapping and gave a fang filled smile before sitting down. "Continue."

Mr.Futon didnt seem pleased but he simply gave a small cough and said "This my friends would be the rebel forces third in command Chiffton Tylers, he is also head of public relations and is here to help us with our new mission." Chiffton nodded to the crowd and Futon went on "That mission is to activate our hit-list. As you all know we have a large number of purebloods, their locations, and their security levels listed ion our database. We are to eradicate as many of them as possible before the summit. Have I missed anything Mr. Tylers?" he asked.

It was then that Chiffton sat up strait, still smiling. "Just call me Chiffton...really, I prefer it. I would like to inform you all that it is my duty to keep the rebels out of the news...No one needs to think its us doing the dirty work. Also Mr.Futon I am here to make a request..." he looked over the gathered rebels with his bright blue eyes for just a moment before addressing them all "In one month the summit will be held. It is the one time of the year we know where the Saxton brothers are. We plan to attack the summit and dispose of them. It will be dangerous, there will be casualties, but it might just win the war. I am here to garner volenteers to go to the capitol, you dont have to tell me now but please find or contact me by the end of the month." He said it so matter of fact that it took a minute for the reality of the situation to set in. The rebels were going after the capitol city.

"You cant be ser-" Mr.Futon looked shocked.

"We are quite serious." Ciffton stated then added "Now finish explaining the hit-list mission."

For the first time it became very clear how intimidating Futon found Chiffton because he dove right back into the Hit-list information. Explaining that they would be broken up into groups and given a specific pureblood for the group to target and that they would be given all known information on their target, so on and so forth. There was a short question and answer session too, that flew by quickly.

AJay couldnt help staring at Chiffton now. The vampire didnt seem very scary when you first saw him, but he had a way about him and his enterance had been one for the ages. Kayli was still edgy about the whole meeting and wanted to go home more then ever now. Finally they were dismissed and told to check back the following night for a spread sheet detailing who was in whos group.

All the ops seemed to linger around for some socializing and discussion of the meeting afterwards. Kayli spotted Chiffton getting escorted to one of the buildings suites. Shuddering she said "I do not like him. He seems a bit too arrogant to be a leader of any sort if you ask me..."

"We also dont know a thing about him yet Kayli, he could just be putting up a front. He could also be eons older than us...who knows what all that guy has seen." AJay told her and she sighed. Her brother was always the one to give people the benefit of the doubt. He was also quick to get drug into conversation. Rolling her eyes Kayli just walked over to Azura and C.W.

"Howdy guys...so what do you think about this entire mess?" she asked. Kayli really just wanted to go home but she would have to wait on AJay to disentangle himself from conversation first. He had the apartment key. Kayli also liked Azura and C.W. more then most simply because Azura was always interesting to talk with and she felt sorta drawn to C.W. most likely because vampirism reigned dominate in halfbloods and there just werent many humanlikes around, so regular humans were good company to her.

C.W. runned his chin a bit, a rough stubble there from a few days of not shaving, as he thought for a moment. That Chiffton guy was a little suspicious. C.W. didn't doubt he was on their side, not yet anyway, but he struck him as the type of guy to do whatever it takes to get the job done, no matter how immoral or dangerous it might be. C.W. admired determination, he was even willing to sacrafice himself to help the rebellion, but there were still a few lines he would not cross. Finally, C.W. spoke for the first time that day. "I think we should watch each others' backs more than ever right now. I recommend we keep open radio contact and stay close."

He then looked at Azura, his cold, calculating eyes growing the slightest bit softer. "I will double up the perimeter watch while yall decide what to do. I'll be standing by for your orders when you need me." C.W. then stood up, gave everyone a salute, then headed out the door.

As the Rebels and their leaders left, Alanoth was the only one who didn't leave. Instead, he blended in with the shadows and got a closer look at some of the Rebels who were staying behind and chatting. One was a human, two were half bloods, one was actually a known Pureblood rebel, and one was a made vampire who was known to his employers as not a member of the rebellion. He silently memorized their faces and names as they spoke, determined to see where these five went.

Alanoth had infiltrated the Rebellion surprisingly easily. All he had to do was say that he was tired of the Purebloods' regime, and that he had a good amount of money, and they let him come to the meeting like family. He smirked just softly enough to not be heard, amateurs all of them. This tasty information would definitely net a good bonus from Alanoth's employers, and allow him to find specific members of the rebels to take out.

He stepped off to the side, making sure that no one would spot him. He then came out of the shadows and strolled out of the warehouse, pulling out a throwing knife hidden up his sleeve to make ready for some late night hunting.

Meanwhile back at the Capitol city a different kind of meeting was being held. In a dark room, somehwere within the summit building three teenage boys sat at the end of a table. Atleast they looked liked teens...one had auburn hair, one black, and one blonde. All three had bright green gazes that were focused on the egyptian before them.

"So Osiris needs more protection? I thought you Egyptians had everything under control in your little city?" asked the blond who sounded a bit amused, the black haired boy spoke next with little to no inflection in his calm voice at all.

"Now, now brother...let us not ridicule our guest. He has an earnest request from his clan leader. Osiris has always been loyal to our causes after all."

The auburn haired one spoke next in a very perk voice "I think we should assist them. Those rebels are becoming quite a pest after all."

If it wasnt for there different tones of voice and different hair colors all three of the boys would look exactly alike. They were being friendly right now, something they werent exactly known for, but they knew well of Ramses. Finally the blond spoke again.

"Ok, so we will send help. What do we get in return though?" all three of the boys seemed to think for a moment.

"The egyptians must support our bill against the rebels." Chimmed in the perky auburn. The blond nodded in agreement. It was the black haired boy who kept his steady gaze on Ramses.

"You, Ramses..." he started off saying "Will relay a message to your Leader that reinfocements shall be sent under two conditions." at the word two the other boys looked at the darker one. "The first condition is that he fully support our bill to eradicate the rebels. The second, " for the first time the boy smiled "You must go meet up with a spy of ours in Yellville. You will assist him in his mission, after all...I hear your a worthy warrior."

The other two boys seemed very pleased. "Leave it to brother to be such a genius..." said the blond. The auburn haired boy nodded, and with that the deal had been made by the Saxton brothers. Now it was up to Ramses to accept or decline the offer made. The blond slid a phone across the large table they sat at. "You can call Osiris from right here before departing for Yellville and as soon as you agree we will send as many reinforcements as he would like. You just give us the amount he needs."

"Then we will call our spy to let him know your coming. You will both report back to us at consistant intervals." the Auburn haired Saxton finished. It was always creepy how the boys finished eachothers sentences. They may have looked like boys but it was their choosing, no one knew how old the vampires truely were but it was a known fact that they were ancient. Smirking the perky redhead added "So deal or no deal?"

Kasuka, was standing in the darkest part of the room, listening in to what the "rebel" vampires had to say about a massive threat to themselves. Dressed in his very old samurai robes, all three of his swords were tucked into his belt, and arms crossed over his chest, he was dead silent. The reason he was here wasn't because he was a "rebel", he wasn't one period. He is a made vampire, working for the highest bidder, and he has been paid to help the rebels kill a few of the Purebloods. Who paid him? he doesn't even know, nor does he care.

As far as he could tell, he was the oldest vampire in the room, he couldn't tell if that was a good thing or a bad one, but he listened anyways. The desperation in the room was suttle yet very thick at the same time, feeling that their hands were being forced into something they weren't ready for. 'Going up against a enemy that they know is stronger yet they have no information on them surprises me a bit.....owh well..' He thought to himself as he turned himself into mist and left the room before the meeting was even done, right when a blonde vampire showed his presence by clapping. He heard enough, the info he got on his target was true then, he just proved it and he knows it came from one of the rebel-leaders. 'Just as long as the have the coin I don't care....'

Making his way out of the building he was in, he decided to go to where the Purebloods are known to be but suddenly changed his mind since he was in a mixed area of made and pure vampires. 'I know the head or heads of the Purebloods don't live here but someone who knows where to find them could be.....but thats a very blind shoot in the dark....' He stopped in his tracks, placed his hand on his swords and looked around. 'I could always go to the Capital....sounds like a plan to me.' He turned and began to walk off, and to his surprise, as he looked over his shoulder, the meeting was over. Letting out a slight chuckle, he turned back and continued his walk to the Capital.

'I killed many a individual that was said to be hard to find....find and killed them all I did...' With a bit of a sadistic smile he said under his breath. "Ready or not, here I come..." As if playing a childish game of hide-and-seek and he was it. 'I just wonder if their guards are purebloods aswell....sounds a bit fun..' Walking down a dark street into a even darker ally, he vanished from the sight of anyone watching.

Marianna sat through the meeting with a childish restlessness, but she paid attention. She did not like this new move to be made by the rebellion. She understood and agreed with going after the purebloods. That had always been part of the war. But going after the summit? It was a suicide mission. She wondered how many of the people standing around her were going to be alive next month. Were any of them reckless or dumb enough to volunteer? She really didn't know. She really didn't want to think about it.

As some people began to leave, and others stayed around to chat, Marianna took a look around, before smiling. She skipped over to Kayli and Azura, noticing that C.W. had walked away moments before she'd gone over.

"That Mister Tyler's guy is scary." Marianna said, rocking back on her heels and clasping her hands behind her back, her eyes wide. Her voice and demeanor were, as usual, very childish, but she spoke with an almost knowing tone that portrayed a deeper meaning. Sure, the guy was third in command of the rebellion, but he was asking the rebels to go on a suicide mission. Marianna was very concerned about what was going to happen at the Summit. Whatever went down, it wouldn't be good.
