(Here we go folks!)
In the isolated and well protected town of Shades Run an older looking man sat at a desk with a stern expression. He had been turned in mid life, an odd occurance, and such looked a bit older then most made vampires. He had darkly tanned skin and black hair with a dashing of gray on the sides. This only served to prove not all vampires were a sickly white...a silly human misconception.
"Ladies and Gents, we have a problem." he stated calmly. There was a hodge-podge of other vampires infront of him. Some were mades, some halfies, even one pureblood, but they all had one thing in common. They were the rebels leaders, and the man speaking was the top dog of them all. The typically friendly and over talkative Mr. Analies. The fact that he was being so serious made the others uncomfortable. "They ruling purebloods, primarily the ever untraceable Saxton brothers, are going to try and turn us into the enemy at this years summit. Currently there is a large population of halfs and common-pures alike who are undecided in this war. We may have the majority support from mades but too many of them are still bound by their masters wishes. If the summit turns the tide in their favor by gaining support we are going to be destroyed..."
Common-pures was how the rebels described purebloods who were not associated with a clan, politics, or the slave trade. They were just other regular vampires free to choose sides in the civil war. The same went for halfs...some where happy with their current positions, but not all of them were. The war could swing either way, but having all rebels named as public enemys was not going to help their cause any...Analies was sure they would be portrayed as murderers and such.
"What do you propose we do?" asked a felmale halfie with dark red, short hair. She was the faction leader from Red Devil and Analies second in command. Her name was Shiba, she simply prefered it that way. No titles and or last names needed. "Should we try to enlist more people to the cause? up our numbers?"
"I think we just need to get rid of them all." Said the pureblood, a young looking male "Get rid of as many as possible before the summit to cut their numbers...upping our own numbers cant hurt either." Chiffton Tylers was a key component to the rebellion. A well liked pureblood, he helped with the rebels image a great deal. He had also been looked down upon in his life by clan associated pures, they thought he was trash because he was truely unassociated. No one was really sure of his linage besides himself. All that was clear was that he held a true grudge.
"We are doing all of the above, and more." Mr. Analies stated and the whole room looked prepared to hear what 'more' was. "We will lower their numbers, increase ours, and then we attack the summit. Now get on the phone with our unit in Yellville. Explain the full situation and tell them its time to start on their hit list. Chiffton, your going to Yellville to work on public relations...keep our name out of the tabloids. No one needs to know its us taking these politicians out."
Then the meeting was dismissed, everyone left, and Shiba made the call to Yellville.

Kayli and AJay were relaxing at their apartment in uptown Yellville. The night was cool, the starts bright, and they were enjoying some drinks on their little back patio area. It was just big enough for two chairs and a bug zapper. Kayli was sipping a vodka and tonic, AJay a glass of o-neg.
"So what do you think is going to happen to us after the summit?" AJay asked. Kayli rolled her eyes and huffed.
"Really? you cant forget the rebels for one night???" she said. Kayli was not one to think about 'work' on her off day. AJay on the other hadn never seemed to stop thinking about it.
"Well...what if the rumors are tru-" he was cut off by his phone ringing. Not his regular phone, but the protected line given to him by the rebels for work calls. Answering it he listened to the news and nodded. Kayli was looking pissed already.
"On our day off?" she questioned with a heavy sigh.
"No work...just a meeting. They are actually getting all the operatives together, something big is going down." AJay told her standing up and stretching. Kayli got up slowly, not really wanting to go but knowing there was no other way. The two left together and wandered the streets until they came to the abandoned 'historical marker' aka a run down manufacturing plant a rebel sympathizer had purchased and protected for the Yellville groups use. Sliping through on of the secret enterances and though security they emerged into a room filled with bustling ops waiting to be addressed by the Yellville leader Mr. Futon.
