I live and breathe Japanese music. I absolutely don't listen to music of any other language (I don't like them as much anyway). I'm almost racist about it, LOL. My favourite artiste is UVERworld. I like a lot of other people too (though I support WaT because the guys are cute rather than anything else). There're too many to name, in fact.

*giggles* I'm like that with Asian music in general, especially Kpop. My Asian friends, who were raised in the US, say that I know more about Asian pop culture than they do! Asian music is just so much fun! Music is about escaping for me, so the more serious American stuff doesn't appeal to me. The lighter stuff over here is all about hooking up and going to clubs, which also doesn't appeal to me! Since I can't understand the Asian lyrics, I can pretend that all of the songs are light-hearted songs about love or about giving a guy attitude!

I have been doing K-Pop since the 70s when stationed in Korea. Think more recent faves are BoA and S.E.S.

Don't do much anime besides Tokko. In fact by default phone ring tone is Sherry.

Yep, K-Pop is timeless, sorta feel sorry for those who have not had a chance to appreciate it

I just discovered another group that I'm totally loving. They are called By2 and they are twin sisters from Singapore. Their song "Grown Up" is my current favorite song and always cheers me up and makes me want to dance! They are amazing dancers and really cute!

Big Bang, ZE:A, MBLAQ, and B2ST are my favorite kpop bands. SS501's Love Ya is really good as well.
As for Japanese bands, my FAVORITE is Penicillin, followed by Miyavi and Dir en Grey.
The beginning and end songs of Black Cat are really good too.

and you know, almost every song in the vocaloid universe.
