While his hair is longer then usual coming to just past his shoulder blades if unbound, his features are far too round to be mistaken for a full elf. On closer inspection however his parentage is unmistakable as his sharply pointed ears come into view.
At all times Gilder wears a brass ring set with an amethyst on his right ring finger, a ring he will never remove willingly.

Secret or concealed doors are difficult to hide from half-elves, just as they are from elves. Merely passing within 10 feet of a concealed door (one hidden by obstructing curtains, etc.) gives the half-elven character a one-in-six chance (roll a 1 on 1d6) of spotting it. If the character is actively seeking to discover hidden doors, he has a one-in-three chance (roll a 1 or 2 on 1d6) of spotting a secret door (one constructed to be undetectable) and a one-in-two chance (roll a 1, 2, or 3 on 1d6) of locating a concealed door.

Character Description: With well-angled features and wiry muscles, it is fairly clear that Kasada's early life was filled with hunger and intense physical training. Her skin is dark and rough, a bit like polished copper that has been beaten and left to rust, dozens of scars, pale patches from lack of sun, healed over brands from numerous masters and other such markings cover her body. Most notable of the scars is the burn scar that covers nearly her entire right arm, coloring it a faint red. The scar does not hinder her, but it is one of the first things people tend to notice. Also notable is the fact that Kasada keeps her head shaved clean.
