He's tripping balls
Falling off the couch

Trying to remember
How to frigging walk

This life takes too long
And the days are drawn
To a thin line all wrong
And we all know that I
Do a bit better when
I'm trashed and high

We wear sunglasses at night
We drink and smoke till dawn
Singing off key till it's alright
Till worry is more than gone

We stumble, drunk and gleeful
Towards a hazy future that
Is both ugly and beautiful
And somehow we'll manage
Somehow, we'll cope
Somehow, we'll damage
Everything good in us.
