Akira smiled as she followed Mikado into the kitchen, "Good morning." Akira greeted Satoko with her loving smile, the food smelled absolutely delicious, this food looked strange to her. Akira pulled out a chair for herself and sat down calmly as she watched Mikado to see how he would eat the meal. She had used forks before but that was long ago and she wasn't sure she remember quite how to hold it. She glanced at his hand and tried to put her hand like his hand on the fork and smiled at her success, she poured a little bit of syrup on it as se saw everyone else doing before taking her first bite. The taste was very strange but so warm and moist she absolutely adored the flavour.
"Akira I believe I heard something last night while you were sleeping." River says in a calm and relaxed voice, "I don't remember what it was though, maybe it was just you talking your sleep again." River sighs as Akira's attention is drawn to Mikado's uncle, "I slept lovely, the bed was quiet comfy once I relaxed a little I found myself fast to sleep." Akira says almost mentioning River but quickly remembering that the girls didn't know about him and would rather keep it that way.

"I guess not," Mikado replied, finishing another stick. "I'm not really sure why I thought the hallway was any better, though," he leaned back in his chair and stretched his back, feeling the joints crack as he arched backwards. "Maybe..." he started to speak, but stopped, seeming to rethink his words. "Never mind."

After a few more minutes of working at his meal Mikado finished. He removed himself from the table and slid his chair back into position, dumping his plates into the sink before turning on the water. The syrup's grip was loosened as hot water ran over the surface of the plate, and the remainder of the cleanup became easy work. When he was finished, he paced back over to the table.

"Well, let's get going," his Uncle said with breakfast concluded. He left the kitchen with Mikado's sisters in tow. Mikado followed after, but stopped himself before leaving. "Hey, Akira... did you hear anything last night?" the thought had been bothering him for sometime, and he would rather ask her than his uncle.

Akira finished her food, it was a delicious breakfast and she walked over to the sink and rinsed off her plate before she began to scrub it clean happily. Akira turned to follow everyone out of the kitchen after drying off her hands from the water in the sink when Mikado turned to her and asked her his question. She gave him an odd look, "I didn't hear anything, but-" Akira began to speak but looked forward to make sure his sister's wouldn't hear, "River said he heard something last night while we were sleeping, did you hear something?" Akira asks curiously.
"It would seem I'm not the only strange thing going on around here, this is so interesting." River says happily.
