Hylian
The most common race of Hyrule, they were once said to be the closest race to the Goddesses themselves. They are usually over five feet and have pointy ears, some colorful hair and fashion/technology continuously changes as they are the most advanced in machinery and have natural magic powers. They are cousin's to the humans, but Hylian's typically believe they are the superior race since they have ruled the land for centuries making many of they look down upon other races. Knights of Hyrule are a group of Warriors and Mages that wander the land to keep peace, but many believe they drink more ale than they spill monster's blood so some are not welcomed in homes. Knights of Hyrule only accept Hylians, but are slowly accepting Skyloftians, and they typically treat others poorly due to their egos.
Goron
Are the heaviest and strongest race, usually over six feet tall. Their skin is made of stone with harden lava collecting on their back and joints. They live in Death mountain next to a village down below. They can roll into a ball and crush their enemies, but cannot swim. They are smithies and good at it, they also specialize in bombs to mine ore to make their superior weapons. Some still hold onto the old ways and Gorons are rarely seen in town, preferring to avoid contact from the outside world.
Zora
Are quite talented aquatic people, they made more than half the music used today. They are excellent swimmers and fish traders. They range from size and seem to have fish like traits such as a fin on their head, fins shaping a dress/suit, or a head similar to a shark. They also have sac glands that produce electricity, enough to fry the nerves of their victim such as fish. They've been known to survive cold waters, but avoid fire as their skin burns easily and dries out.
Deku
They are a plant-like race, ranging in a sort of colors such as Deku Scrubs, Mad Scrubs, Business Scrubs and Royal Scrubs. The Royal Scrubs rule over the forests and Deku Scrubs, like a king over his kingdom. The Business Scrubs are typically seen in towns and settlements selling their goods and deals. Mad Scrubs are wild variety, attacking anyone other than their kind, they are usually identified by their bright yellow and red coloring. They can attack by shooting Deku seeds from their hollow tube mouths, in some rare cases, some Deku can learn basic magic and shoot magic bullets. They have been known to fly if they leaves they grew are capable of flight, and thought they love water as much as sunshine, they fear lakes as their hollow bodies will fill up and sink.
Fairy
They are a small race of butterfly-winged beings, mainly living in the forest, some have been known to be Town Fairies but are rarely seen. They give off colors of lights, it varies on which Great Fairy created them and they're base personality. Great Fairies are rarest of all and been known to give special people gifts, they are described as Human-like fairies, beautiful and captivating filled with kindness. Some people believe that some lighter colored fairies will save them from death, this is only a rumor, they will more than likely let you die once they escape from the bottle. Fairies know a large selection of magical spells, commanding nature.
Gerudo
They are an all female race, with only one male born each century. Despite being females, they are feared for their crafty and use the art of stealth and movement like the wind to take down any opponent. They are not usually welcomed into towns as they are known as thieves and Love Leeches in order to get money or a child. They tend to wield Scimitars or halberds and move in an enchanting way, flaunting their body to distract their opponents before striking. They usually listen to the strongest Gerudo Women, but they worship their king and only male, so much as throwing themselves in deaths harm if he commands so.
Human
They are a common race like Hylians, but not have the pointed ears, magic powers, or super advanced technologies. They mainly live on the rural areas around the town, being farmers or traders while some become well known Warriors. They still hold onto the old ways in arranged marriage and one-on-one combat challenges. Hylians still look down on them just like any other race, but many know that without any of the Humans help; their lives would crumble. A sudden rise in half Human/Hylian children have been causing problems between the two races, Humans were angry about their own children are breaking tradition and Hylians are mad just don't like the whole idea.
Twili
They are a mysterious race, said to be the decedents of criminals long ago; but they now seek peace and companionship. They are feared for their abilities in magic, surpassing any Hylian, especially in Dark Arts. They are rarely seen, but have been known to put on a mask of friendliness to win someone over as they've realized their blank emotionless faces are off-putting. They range in sizes and shapes, some tall and lanky, others short and pudgy. They usually have dark skin with blue magic runes covering their bodies and their hair is typically black for males and red for girls, but this isn't proven fact as of yet. They use a portal to travel to and from their homeland at will ever since they harnessed the power of the Twilight Mirror, but rarely take outsiders with them.
Skyloftians
They are just like Hylians, but they live on a large floating island in the sky, they've just recently made their first contact with the surface about a year ago. Apparently they thought the surface was overran by monsters long ago with the hero never rose up to save them, so they all stayed up above the clouds for years. They ride the winds and sky upon Loftwings, a large type of bird with amazing strength and reaction timing. They will chose only one person to be there owner and they act as their guardian. They prefer to stay above the cloud line, but with training and a motive, will descend below and close to the ground, but none have dared to actually touch the surface. Since they ride on birds, many Skyloftians have common features, tall and skinny frames to not burden their Loftwings. They have argued with Hylians over beliefs since theirs is only one Winged Goddess instead of three Goddesses. They have been known for their competitive attitude and advanced training/potions.
