Troy was in his cabin, resting for a bit before he could go out and venture the shores for supplies. He closes his eyes for a moment and thought of the past, then re-opened his eyes and looked around.

He let out a soft sigh and gets up from his bed and grabs his rifle. Leaving his cabin, he looks over his shoulder and sees a couple of children sitting in the hall, they both stared at him, and smiled.

"Where are your parent's young ones?" he asked, both looked at each other for a bit then back at Troy. "Dead." is the only thing he heard from them. He opens his cabin door and nods his head, "Go ahead and sleep in here, no sense in sleeping a ship that is suppose to take care one of another." The children smiled and ran into the room.

"Now stay in here until I get back, you want something to eat? Look in that fridge I have over there." he points to the back of the wall. He closes the door and starts walking down the hall way, he felt like he bumped into somebody and realized he did, "Oh I'm sorry." he apologized.

Eirwen gave a small sound close to a growl as some one bumped into her. she looked back at Troy, Just because she realized or recognized who he was did not mean she was going to treat him any different then every one else. "it's fine" she said curtly she then turned to face him fully "do you have any idea when there going to send us out? or are they going to make us wait?" she asked quietly.

With out really thinking about it she checked to make sure all her weapons were reachable including the little necklace knife. quietly shaking her head at herself she returned her full attention to Troy.

Troy sighs for a second and looks at her when she asked him that question, "It's my call and I'll decide when we'll go out and have some fun." He realized she looked a little shaky "You alright?" he asked, "You looked a little disturbed, are you sure your ready to go out in the field?" He looked at her with a serious face.

Eirwen cocked an eye brow at him "of coarse I'm ready" she shook her head "undead are quite disturbing if you haven't noticed and the fact that I'm getting out of here for even a little bit is a bit exciting frankly.." she said all this rather flatly as she placed a hand on her hip and looked at him with a calm gaze. "as it is if checking to make sure that I have all my needed protection and tools for this job makes me seem jumpy then I well refrain from doing so" she stated with a small hint of amusement in the twitch of her lips.

Troy chuckles when hears some good news from her, "Hey you got a good attitude there, I like that." he smiles and places the rifle on his back, and pulls the strap on his shoulder. "We're going in to find supplies and if possible guns and ammo." He turns and nods her to walk with him. "If the island wants to survive with enough supplies to last a lifetime, we'll give it to them, but only to trade of what they got." He turns and looks at her, "I assume you know what the island is about?"

Eirwen followed quickly matching his own pace. she tipped her head to the side slightly listening. when he asked her if she knew what the island was about she shook her head "I've been.. to busy babysitting to listen to idle chatter that tends to scare the the little ones" she said quietly looking strait ahead. that was true enough she was normally sent to watch the children when other could not or.. would not.

"Hm the Island is about survival like us, but a little different, they want to survive as bad as anybody, but with little supplies they got and a lot of farms to keep their bellies full, they usually look to us for weapons and ammo." He starts walking up some stairs, "But that is what they want us to believe, I've been hearing chatter just like you but on other ships we've encountered, you remember some of those trades we made with other ships?" He chuckles, "But this is what I keep hearing, the Island is a pretty much experimental zone, meaning they test the undead there, using live ammo, and other death simulations." He turns and gives her a look, "They are even using children is what I heard as well." he sighs and walks out of the hull and on the starboard walk side.

Eirwen listened silently she only nodded when he asked her if she remembered the last ships they had encountered. they were not hard to miss given that there probably were a few dozen of them. she would not be surprised if a few of them were actually infected like the rest of the world. As troy continued Eirwen ground her teeth still silent she did not say a word but her eyes darkened spicily when he mentioned children being part of the tests...

she stepped out with him and glanced around "well..." she finely said in a quite tone "I'll be sure to keep in check as to not strangle any one.." she looked over at him "so do we have any other plans other then.. getting supply?" she asked meaning... were they planing on investigating this so called rumor? and if it was true were they going to do anything about it?

"Find supplies is like finding a needle in a haystack, they say L.A. is covered with the dead, no one goes near the place, not once ship has passed through here yet, and since' we're the first, I guess we'll gladly take the fuel and oil, and any parts for our ships, and if possible, food, soap, shampoo and Deodorant." He jokes, "No but seriously if you come across anything good, take it, we might have need of it." He looks across the seas and stares at the city of L.A. "It's a dump but it'll do."

Eirwen smirked quietly at his jest "well do then" she said and followed his gaze. she had a few things in mind to keep an eye out for ammo was always good to have food stuff and meds.. that were still usable which reminded her "by the way we have a bit of sickness going on mostly with older folk but I've noticed some of the others getting restless" she looked over at troy unblinkingly "I think they are afraid that it might be the infection as we know it but the elderly seem alright other then some fever and coughing just seem like a regular cold to me.." she gave a small shrug "but I think some medication for them would not go amiss.. or unthanked" her goal was to keep every one alive if she could help it if that meant getting some simple cough drops or killing some one who was infected passed the point of cure she would but not with out her own giult.
