Name: Julian Rio

Age: 17

Occupation: Julian works in a bookstore as a clerk. He gets paid under the table so it isn't a serious job but it pays for his hobbies.

Appearance: He has a thin lanky appearance like he doesn't eat much despite the moments when he pigs out on some burger king. His hair is messy and a little long but nothing as long as shoulder length. He likes to cut it himself much to the disapproval of his mother. Julian likes wearing form fitting clothes and he keeps up with the latest fashions for people his age, although he prefers dark greens and camo. His eye's are big and brown, they catch just the right kind of light so one could see more of themselves in them than his eye's. His skin is a little pale but he tries to get out in the sun more often now since it makes him look a wee bit sickly. Julian's nose is slightly off to the right from a fight he got in with another kid. It has healed somewhat but it still looks just a little bit crooked.

Personality: Julian is a bit of a social pariah due to some rumors that have never ceased since elementary school. That doesn't mean he isn't willing to make friends, its just that every time he's tried his chances have been shot down by some jerk from school. So despite his best intentions Julian can be a bit depressing and emo-ish. He just needs someone he can trust so they can see the positive and energetic person Julian really is.

Name: Austin Vickers

Age: 28

Occupation: Head of a local gang

Appearance: Standing at 6’1 and having a slim-muscular build, Austin makes for quite the appearance when walking towards you. He has black hair that falls just shy of reaching his shoulders and occasionally falls into his eyes when looking down at something. He has tanned skin from being out and about so much. He has a defined jawline as well as narrow eyes which help in his menacing appearance and his “bad boy” look. He's usually partial to long sleeve, fitted, dark colored shirts with black slacks and boots.

He also wears a small bracelet with a cross dangling from it.

Personality: He’s a very proud man, he doesn’t like being undermined, being told what to do or helping others that he doesn’t like. He has a softer side that some say doesn’t exist, but to two people it does… or did. He has a very small inner circle that he keeps guarded at all costs.

Brief Bio: When he was young his parents were shot and killed thanks to two rival gangs having a firefight just outside where they lived. Police ruled it as gang violence and never really found someone they dubbed as the gunman until the trail went dead and everything was forgotten… Since then, Austin’s lived on his own, taking no handouts, making openings and doing what he has to do to get by. Some say his starting the gang was a way to replace his lost family and fill a void, others aren’t so sure.

Name: Zachery Acerton (Nick names: Zack Ace and Zack to his friends)
Age: 25
Occupation: Doctor/Surgeon
Appearance: He's 6'1, medium/athletic build, dark brown hair that fall to his ears, hazel-green eyes, and a light tan.

Magical powers: Mostly healing, but he can also manipulate the water in a person's blood, though not to a huge extent(e.g. He can make someone feel really sick or dehydrate them enough to make them exhausted more rapidly.) His powers, however, though they are fueled by magic in part, take a physical toll on him and can leave him exhausted or even unconscious if he uses too much. This is because his powers, especially healing, draw on his life force as well as magic. Because of this, a rarely uses magic unless it's a life or death situation.

Personality: He's an all around nice guy, but he has his limits. He doesn't care much for mean-spirited people and will voice his opinion so if confronted, but he won't result to violence unless necessary. He has a dry sense of humor for the most part, but at time can be a bit scandalous and sarcastic. He acts very stubborn at times, but it is mostly superficial and usually ends up conceding in the end unless he truly believes its a bad decision. He likes his liquor and women, but he's not really a scoundrel out for just a kiss and tickle, though he does try to project that image for his own self amusement. But in truth, he secretly hopes to find 'the one' and settle down and raise a family.

Fighting skills: He's no martial arts expert, but growing up in a lower class neighborhood, he's been in plenty of scruffs over the years of his childhood. So his fighting style is more of a meat and potatoes, rumble and tumble type of fighting.

Bio: Zack was raised in a lower-class home, his mother working two jobs as a waitress and bartender while his father was away a lot working on oil rigs. Though his father was frequently going off for weeks at a time on oil rigs, he made up for it by spending almost every minute he was home with his family and worked hard to provide Zack with the opportunities he never had. But at the same time, he never forced Zack to take a path he didn't want to take.

When his father died in an oil fire out at sea when he was 16, Zack vowed to honor all his father sacrificed and do the best with his life as he could and to take care of his mother so she wouldn't have to work so hard. Zack had always be more fascinated with biology more than any of his other classes, and after his father died, he decided to commit himself to it, dropping half his classes to get a job and concentrating on biology, science, and other similar courses. Eventually, this lead him to become a very successful doctor and surgeon.
