Appearance ~
Build: Mekiu stands about 5'7" with a slim but muscular build for such a slight girl, Flat chested with slightly tanned skin.
Hair: foxy red, shoulder length.
Eyes: bright aqua.
Distinctive Features: Mekiu has a pair of soft furred fox ears and a long busy fox tail. She also bares the scare that runs from her right shoulder to her left hip, and a few smaller scars here and there.
Clothes / Armour: She normally wears a pair of long jeans that flair at the bottom and have the pattern of red flames as well as a tight top that goes around her chest but leaves her arms and stomach wide open.
Fighting Style ~
Weapons:
twin dueling knifes - Mekiu has twin knifes, large in size and curved to points with a keen edge. Both have small notches near the hilt, more so for decoration then an acutel use, though she can. Both blades can withstand high temperatures heat/ fire and some lower degrees of cold.
throwing knifes - just a bunch of smaller knifes of bronze or Steel.
hand to hand - hand to had skills that rely more on her speed and a little of her strength, she's quite agile and flexible.
Abilities:
Fox form - Turning into her fox form. This form has the coat color of the normal red fox but is quite a bit bigger with more of a wolfish build to it, built for speed and streagth she can turn to this form at will. (At will but most the time she well remain in one form for a few posts up to 1-2 at the very least if not more)
Fox Fire - the use and ability to summon fire at will and to use it as a long range attack (though after it reaches so far away she cannot directly control it.) or with her melee attacks. She can put it onto her blades and or other parts of her body (with out harming herself unless she wishes it to which comes in handy when stopping blood flow). She can also set other things on fire.
Illusions - Mekiu can create powerful illusions that not only effect the minds perception but also the minds part of the brain with hearing, touch, pain, and smell etc... though this really only works if they don't know she's creating the illusion (they don't know that its just an illusion.) and they haven't trained against mind attacks such as this, though if she can find a use for it even then she well use it. she can use this at will but can only hold the illusion, how ever big it is for 3 rounds, Unless other wise countered or not believed in.
Nine tailed strike - She only uses this move if she's sure it well do what its intended, Or as a last resort. Nine balls of Flame surround her and her opponent on the first post (the attack takes two posts, the first post being the appearing of the floating balls of flames and and using about three of them, the second post is using the other six), Each of the Nine Balls turned into a sort of weapon (melee based no long range) as she grabs onto it before charging at her opponent to strike at them, The energy comes from some reserve she has stored up over time, Releasing this increases her speed and strength drastically. She'll continue the process, only able to use this attack once per battle, till all nine balls are used or unless severely interrupted (if this is done then no matter how many balls of flames are left the attack is done). Each flame if striking somewhere on the target would cause intense burning for about a Post (in the case of a critical hit two, which dose not happen often), while causing some blunt force damage (from the energy used to form weapon like shape), depending on where the strike landed.
Attributes:
Strengths - Mekiu is pretty tough, taking hits easily and or dodging them all together with her quick wit and even quicker reflexes. Fires pretty infective, specially if its any kind of fox fire, Other kinds of fire such as dragon fire or Black fire may vary in the effects and how badly they can burn her. Most mind tricks, Specially illusions, don't work on her.
Weaknesses - Mekiu Hates the cold, making her reluctant to fight in such a terrain, slower and naturally its more painful in the cold. She has firm footing but ice and most shifting grounds, like sand, she has a harder time pulling stunts on.
Biography ~
Personality: Mekiu is pretty laid back, on a regular biases. Unless she's on a mission or fighting, what ever reason that may be, she's normally, seemingly, care free. She dose have a temper though, she can keep it in check most the time. sometimes cheeky and mischievous, on missions, battles or just play depending on the circumstance. However when it comes down to business prepare for the heat to come on.
Background: Mekiu was born on a small island kingdom where her kind where enslaved. At a young age she learned to avoid the whip and the guards fists easily and dodge in and out of trouble. She learned how to fight amongst other slaves, With the occasional rich kid passing through. Her Parents, Along with a few other slaves plotted a escape, More for their children then themselves, Knowing that if they where caught... It would mean death. Close to around the time she was supposedly turning ten they made a dash for the nearest ship that was set to leave that night, Unfortunately only Mekiu was able to slip away he parents hiding her in the ship and getting captured allowing their child to get away, She has not seen them since.
From there Mekiu took care not to be spotted by any on the ship, Stealing her food from under their noses and sleeping lightly, Moving places behind the cargo as to not get caught. Having managed this when the ship docked she made her escape slipping away and out of the grasp of the slavers. From then on she was on her own, Fending for herself, Hunting, Shelter and Defense. Somewhere along the way she was able to git ride of the slave collar that withheld her ability to use fox fire and illusions from there she learned to use them more accurately. Over the years she found more and more then, Not all people where the same, But she didn't trust half of them.
Once while she was hanging around the edge of a town she caught the sight of a few kids fleeing from a rather brutish looking adult. When she came to their defense she was able to learn that this town was not all that different from where she had come from, Using the children as labors for their own. She was easily able to dispatch the man leaving him off with a message for the rest of the town. She took the two under her wing, finding shelter in an abandon church a few miles away they made this their base and from then on every chance she had she stole away one of the labor kids and brought them 'home' with her, Caring for them and bringing them back to health. Most of them where so much younger then she was but some left when they where able, Other staid by her and here she found a new family. She never leaves long but she often has to strike out on missions or other things to provide some money and other essential tools for their survival. Satisfied that she had found her calling she sticks with the kids.
Over the years though when she's not out on missions and there no threat to the kids she likes to keep up on her skills. She recently found the Arena and feels that it well give her just what she's looking for.
