I mean, this one is really deep and in a way this most cool way to look at a paradox.

Hmm, I really, really, reaaaally enjoyed one of the director's earlier films, Moon, so I was expecting to like this one, too, but it just felt so generic. Jake Gyllenhaal saps all the life out of his character (I'd rather watch paint dry) and the special effects looked so cheap.

Yeeeaaahhh I'm with Flex. Neat concept at first but as the movie unraveled, it just became another movie but with flare added in much like The Matrix. I felt some better actors could also have been chosen. I don't care too much for special effects anymore. At one time, sfx were something astonishing but now so many movies bring nothing new to the table. Only very few it seems...

I DONT AGREE!

I am a fan of jake.
I thoght he was pretty cool in the movie brothers. I'm not a fan of Toby becuase I feel like there's only so much he can do when it comes to heavy emotion. I thought he was pretty well picked for that movie. I mean who would you guys have picked Zack Efron? Oh yeah he was great in 17 again. the only thing I didn't like about the ending wasthat it seemed totally illogical. I'm not saying it went over my head (Pats ego) but I am saying I raised my eyebrow. I normally like Surprise, guess what he's ------ type endings and this one was pretty goodbut it wasn't that amazing. I'd totaly give this movie a 7 out of ten.

As for the special effects comment. If you're spending half the movie going, these special effects are awesome, that alien looks so real. You're watching a bad movie! . I hate the name special effects becuase I envision special effect to be nothign more than a means to an end to create stories, convince the watcher. Nothing more. Lol to me Special effects is an oxymoron.
