Amber wants to facepalm herself for talking to herself again. She used to to do it all the time, but then again, no one was really around to here her. "Oh, you don't like my book idea? It was a little dark, anyways," she says, trying to laugh lightly. She keeps a confused face on when Michelle and Mike try to give her battle advice. "It was just a story idea, guys. Are you crazy? Like I would ever do that," she says, trying to sound innocent. She is relieved when they both leave, but sighs when Christie comes.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I read a story idea out loud and now they probably think I'm some kind of crazy killer," she said, laughing. She wrote a hasty note on a page and handed the book to Eden. "You can just throw this away," she said. On the page she had wrote, Change this to Michelle's handwriting and make the book look like it was hers. Amber didn't think she'd get caught, but just in case. Thank you, Michelle, she thought smugly. "So, Christie, it was nice sitting with you, but me and Eden have to go. Take care." She stood and and slowly walked to the library, mainly to avoid tripping. The other reason was that she was watching Michelle out of the corner of her eye.
Was Michelle a threat? Definitely. Was she popular? You betcha. Was she in the inner circle? Obviously. And was she perfect for Amber's plan?
You could bet your soul on it.
