"Ah, so you're a coffee girl," Hayden said with a smile, "I, myself, prefer tea, but a nice cup of coffee can be wonderful." Hayden looks of in the direction of which Shapiro went. Did Ali cause her to leave? Hayden has a bad feeling that it was his own fault since he is the Angel after all. "Take that mocha to go," he said, getting up. He couldn't just let Shapiro walk away, "We should find her." He pushed his seat back and was quickly on his feat to find the Undead Shapeshifter. It wasn't just because she was so unsual that he wanted to find her. It was that it would lay on his conscience until his made things right

"Shapiro!" he called out when he found her, talking to another student, "Hey. Why did you leave?"

    Ali-

I open my mouth to reply but he's out of his chair, and off to find Shapiro before I can say I word. I laugh and shake my head. I signal a waitress. "Can I get this to go?" I ask, gesturing to my mocha. She nods and gets it ready. I pay her quickly, and rush after Hayden. I find him with Shapiro and another girl. In case it was my fault I hang back a little, and sip at my coffee, watching them. After a few minutes my feet begin to hurt, and I look around for a chair. Seeing none, I drop down and sit Indian style, on the floor. A few people stare at me as they pass but I ignore them. I was never one to care what people thought of me.
When you hear the beats of my heart, you're listening to the notes of my song. ♥

Shapiro looked back at Hayden, running toward her. She also noticed the girl behind him as well. When that girl got down on her knees, Shapiro scuffed. "I have better things to do, Angel." Shapiro told Hayden. She nodded at the girl she was talking to, as a good-bye and started walking back to her dorm room. She had an awkward attraction to Hayden, but it counter acted itself because she hated Angels. With a passion.

"Everyone in this place is unhappy, and since they're unhappy, they're probably looking for someone worse off than they are."

"You were a happy dream in a life that's been nothing but a hellish nightmare.
Those days that I spent with you, they were the only good days I have ever known. I cherish them.
All this time, I've lived in hope of telling you how sorry I am. I fought armies just to have this chance.
But now... There's nothing I can say that's good enough"

I wave goodbye to Shapiro, unsure what to do next.
Two angels, one pure and one dark, were trying to speak with her but she walked off.
I shrug at her rudeness and glance around the room, looking for anyone interesting to watch.

First, I see Hayden engaged in conversation with this Bohemian looking girl who seems to have fallen under his spell, even if only slightly. Let's face it, the boy looks like the image found under the definition of angel. With this, a sudden realization washes over me. Hayden doesn't like me like that. He's just really, really nice to just about everybody. Oh well, at least I think he was too nice to just be stringing me on. He was probably just being friendly.

Since Hayden seems to be out the window, maybe I can get together with Saul, or another angel. Heck, there's a ton of people at this school, and girls too. I don't need a boyfriend in particular, I need company. I start out on a walk around the school between classes searching for adventure.

OOC LOL getting together with Saul sounds brilliant Flora. Are Hayden and Ali going to continue their conversation? If not-

    3rd pov:
Things continued to move forward at Traxton, there were classes, detentions, and Headmaster Muze's new restrictions on the students relationships began to be enforced. Even though the new rules weren't that radical, his pupils were furious, as teens are wont to be.
Despite this, things returned to routine, very few people questioned the absence of students that they could have sworn had been attending at the beginning of the year,(Josh and Darcy) and soon, extra curricular classes started to get started up. It was nearly time for the sports season!

I stand in Traxton's floral garden, examining a row of daisies that has just been planted. I tsk in annoyance at my sloppy handiwork and straiten the rows. The Earth shifts on its own at my gentle whispering and Gardener Joli nods to me approvingly from where she is overlooking all of her students.

    Lauren~
    "GAA!!!" I scream,"NO! NO!NO!"

"What the hell?" I hear behind me. Some jock is staring at me, as if he didn't already know I was nuts.

I shoo him away before I turn to my work-table and try to stop myself from sobbing.

I'm in the library, for the past hour I've been pouring over an ancient sea chart that is deeply stained and slightly ripped, The stupid school should fix that, I note, they have the technology.

The chart isn't my object of despair however, instead it's hand-made and quite tiny string of clay beads that used to hang around my neck, but is now broken, shattered into bits.

"My grandmother made that from enchanted limas!" I hiss softly.

    Alice-

My eyes peer over the perfectly stacked bookshelf. I guess searching for one of my favorite book -Anthem by Ayn Rand - is somehow bad because everytime I try to do something for myself, I'm interrupted by something or someone. This time it's a 'someone'. It almost makes me laugh, watching the girl's frustrated face glare down into her hands; but my empathy tells me that whatever she's looking at was important to her. I sigh. Swiftly, I grab my beloved book which happens to be squished between a biography and Atlas, and make my way over to her. "Is everything okay?" I ask sympathetically. Even though I can read and morph peoples emotions, I still have the free will of doing something right about it. I guess having the 'nice' gene would come from my father. Oh, is he a saint for marrying my mom.

    ~ Lauren.
I turn quickly in response to the girls voice.
As I look her over, seeing that she has red curls and is wearing a Bulivardo uniform, I try to slip what's left of the magical necklace into my jeans pocket without her noticing.

"Yes actually, the world is going to end." I hear myself say snappishly.

Grabbing a single piece of paper off of my work-table, the only thing that could possibly be of any help to me even with Traxton's wide pool of resources, I push past her in an angry huff.

"Not that anyone cares, but I gotta go."

Rude. I say to myself mentally, it wasn't as though the girl was being rude or snoopy or anything, but the broken necklace's released magic might be dangerous, who knew how old the thing was? Also, Darren had mentioned something about the possibility of the teachers using students as spies.

I don't want to disappoint him by bringing in an outsider.

    Alice-

I pause. Her words should've scared me, or worried me, or anything-- but they didn't. They simply made me smile. The object that was in her hands, I noticed, had only made her worry once it broke. Maybe I can fix it... But, I don't know; I barely know this girl. She might think I'm weird and start calling me names just like all the girls back home, in Tennessee. Except, unlike those girls, this one is like me. She has powers. And those other girls didn't. So maybe me helping her won't be as bad as I'm thinking.

I slowly lock my hands behind my back, showing her the "I'm-not-afraid-of-you" stance, and ask, "Was the object that just broke the thing that is going to make the world end?" I keep my face void of all emotion, because I know if I were to let even the slightest twitch of a feeling come out on my face, I'll laugh.

Slight irritation washes over me when she mentions the necklace. I don't even want to speak of it for fear of my grandma's angry face appearing in of me if I close my eyes... I know that she'd be disappointed if she knew what had happened. I smashed it. How could I? She'd be even angrier if she discovered that I'd told random strangers about it. I quickly mumble to myself out of force of habit, "Stupid necklace- Now she'll kill me." Over the years, I haven't really talked to anyone, except Darren. He's wonderful, that boy. I chew his ear off whenever I see him, my voice never ceasing noise.

I'm barely audible, and I realize that the red-head will start to think I'm a bit too strange. Maybe she'll walk away now. Yeah, that would be good.
