I wasn't sure what you need, Alika. So here's the preliminary. Let me know what I need to change. If you want, you can give me a character to play if it'd be easier. I'm here to help.
Name: Tsujimoto (Surname), Katsu (First)
Katsu currently has bleached and dyed red hair with dark roots. His eyes are the typical black for a Japanese and his skin is tan from his days spent outside. He is never without his goggles, even sleeping with them atop his head. His eyes glow a slight gold when he is pushing his body beyond human limit, which is his primary reason for wearing them. That, and he believes them stylish.
As for clothing, he leans towards more comfort than style. He wears form-fitting attire that cannot get caught on things, but at the same time, is flexible as to not hinder mobility or movement. He refrains from spandex.
He stands about 5'10" and weighs around 165lbs. His years of dancing and acrobatics have left him in good physical condition. He is currently donning a jogging suit, a "wife beater" undershirt, fingerless black leather gloves and of course, his goggles. His shoes are a run down pair of skaters, heavily scuffed with the right one's sole held on by a ring of duct tape around the bridge.
Mutant Power: Katsu is flexible, inhumanly so. Not only can he bend and twist in ways that would break a normal person's bones, but he is also able to sustain falls from significant distances (like a cat) without injury. He is beyond simply "double-jointed", being able to stretch and bend parts of himself that should otherwise be impossible, such as bowing his femur or ribs. He has yet to break or dislocate any joints during his experiments.
Bio: Katsu was put up for adoption upon birth for reasons unknown to him. He is unsure whether or not his parents are still alive or if he has younger siblings somewhere in the world. He was placed into a Japanese orphanage and quickly discovered how bad rigid schedules and harsh discipline sucked. About the age of 6, he ran away, squeezing himself through the iron bars that ran parallel over the orphanage windows. Katsu scraped a living by preying upon the mercy of others, using his flexibility to appear to have deformity or injury. When that stopped working, he resorted to stealing and re-selling gummy candy and other novelties to tourists.
As he grew into his early teens he began street-dancing for money in addition to selling stolen goods. He was quite skilled at it and soon enough found himself performing nightly in the park for coins. Some of the other streetkids took to calling him Gummi for his impressive use of flexibility in dancing, as well as the more obvious reason of what he sold.
He continued this way of scraping by, until one night he was finally arrested for larceny. Without thinking, Katsu unnaturally wrenched himself away from the authorities, threw them a glare with glowing eyes, and took off. In doing so, he unwittingly outted himself as a mutant. With three officers in pursuit, Katsu lead them on a marathon up drainpipes, over rooftops and down fire escapes. At one point, he leapt from a three story apartment complex and landed on the hard cement, continuing his full sprint without so much as missing a beat.
He has since been laying low for the most part since that night. He has changed his manner of dress, his hair color and took to wearing goggles to obscure his eyes.
Personality: Katsu is slightly paranoid, but kind to those whom he trusts. He relates to other free mutants and considers them all as equals who are in the same trouble as he is. Noble to a degree, he will put himself on the line for those he cares about the most, and is not afraid to speak his mind, even if it means getting punched in the mouth. He is sarcastic, witty and playful when the situation allows for it; quiet and observant when it does not.
Your goal: Katsu does not condone the use of force in any situation and the government collecting mutants certainly constitutes. He will likely assume a protective role over others and will aid any mutant he sees who is being harrassed or apprehended. If it were possible, he would work to free those already in custody and put an end to the government's interference in Mutant lives all together. That is of course, a huge idea and quite an impossible one without an immense deal of aid.
How is the government trying to get to you?: As of late, his disguise seems to be doing "all right", but it is only a matter of time before they figure it out. He is not only a known Mutant, but also a criminal wanted for theft, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.
Extra: Please forgive spelling, grammar and punctuational errors. Though, I do go back and correct posts often whenever I notice. This will be my first attempt at mutant, "futuristic" and "sci-fi" RP. I may very well be horrible, but I am willing to try. I look forward to playing with you all.
