NORMAL APPEARANCE
Jacob is quite tall reaching 6 feet however his build is average, toned but not ripped.
His hair is naturally a dirty-blonde colour though this changes with the season, as in winter unless in the light it can seem like a light brown but in summer it becomes golden. His hair is always styled and he takes much care in doing so.
His eyes are a dark green and his skin is fair, his eyes are framed with two deep dark circles (bags) that convey the toll and stress that have been placed upon him over the years.
However now as he becomes more accustomed to working for the government, in fact as he begins to enjoy his work, he is beginning to gain more of a healthy glow about him.
His smile is wide and he has a normal sized but what some may call bulbous nose.
Jacob looks classically Anglo-European and usually wears boots, knitwear, jeans and other clothing associated with western europe, though he likes to cover up so the more layers the better, including big jumpers and hoodies.
Finally he has a ring on the 'wedding finger' but on his right hand. It was a gift given to him from his father, though (at least in his conscious mind) it means little to him.
BATTLE APPEARANCE
A special black fire resistant suit has been developed for Jacob in which a computer controlled gas mask has tubes which link to his hands and feet. In this suit he can either use his powers as normal by opening the front of the gas mask by voice command, or he can close the mask and ignite splints on the ends of both his forearms and soles to exhale gas down his arms and legs producing explosive effects.

Mutant Power:
Creates gases of many different forms including Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and ethyl bromoacetate (tear gas) depending on his set mood, though he has begun to learn how to easily recreate the emotion to get the desired gas.
However his powers are also undergoing testing and it has been shown that he can also create more reactive and explosive gasses. Though it seems his subconscious prevents him from doing so as a survival instinct. However so far with the aid of a lit splint he has created small fire breathing effects from all gaseous exits, concerning this a special suit has been made for him. They have yet to test anything else regarding Jacob's anatomy but one of the doctors seems to think that it is not his respiratory system that creates the effects but instead it is his blood. Jacob is not resistant to fire in anyway shape or form.
His suit however is. His skill with the use of his suit is somewhat lacking and although he can produce small bursts of flame from his hands which seem effective, the bursts from his feet which aim to propel him, (make him fly) have proven very difficult to master and more often then not he ends up 'flying' off in an uncontrollable and unknown (and usually unwanted) direction. Furthermore as his powers require him to exhale in some form he has to continuously breath out (or more effectively, but embarrassingly, sing) in order to produce the gas needed, extended use of his ability in this way causes him to become very lightheaded.


Bio:
Born into a normal English home he knew nothing of the horrors that were to come. He lived life relatively easily, his Parents divorced but both found stable partners and so this left Jacob rather unaffected. He held a good relationship with all those around him and though he had experienced bullying before (being both the victim and the bully) he in general after becoming a teenager found it rather easy to make friends and was quite popular in school.
In fact it seemed that he was almost empathic to those around him and found it easy to cheer people up, persuade people to help him if he needed to and even cause people to feel greatly upset if he was being particularly vicious, though again the occasion for the latter was rare. All however never realised it was anything to do with any 'mutant' ability, the way in which he could control emotions, even though there had been times both at home and in school when his passing of wind had caused tears of laughter.
The only time when his powers became apparent to Jacob was when he received a pet hamster for his 17th Birthday and due to his excitement he took it straight into his room to spend the day playing with it and making himself acquainted with the creature. He talked to the hamster for all of five minutes before it started convulsing and making high-pitched squeals as though it were having a fit of laughter. Moments later the Hamster lay still and lifeless in Jacob's hands. His parents were furious that he could have been so careless and cruel with his new pet and didn't believe his stories until the vet told them the hamster had gone into cardiac arrest due to over excitement.
None though were able to offer any explanation and Jacob pretended he had no real answers to give either. However determined that something unusual was at play he focused on recreating the effect. Going into his garden he called over the neighbours cat and held it for a moment. When nothing happened he became rather frustrated and wondered why nothing was working. He though back to what he'd been doing with the hamster and wondered if instead it was what he said to the hamster. He repeated the words though as the emotion of excitement wasn't the same his powers hadn't activated. Becoming more frustrated he started shouting at the cat, at this the cat at first began to his as tears streamed from its eyes, but Jacob took no notice and instead continued to to shout his abuse telling the cat to "Shut up and stop crying" With these words a yellow vapour escaped his mouth and hit the cat directly in her face, the cats skin after moments began to blister and burn. Frightened and shocked Jacob released the cat and ran away.
A week later Jacob overheard a conversation between his mother and the neighbour detailing how she'd found the cat on that day in such distress and had decided she'd take it to the vets the first thing the next day, only to wake up in the morning to find her poor little kitty having bled internally, vomited profusely and it's skin cracked and its fur covered in blood from the cracks in the skin. She couldn't for the life of her think what had happened and she'd taken it to the vets but received no answers. At this Jacob's mother stated "Well that vet is just useless, our hamster died last week too and he had not explanation to give other than a heart attack! Just ridiculous".
After these episodes Jacob vowed never to test his powers again, though he was a teenager so that wouldn't hold for long. He quickly learnt that he could use his powers to almost infect the minds of those around him, causing them to feel relaxed and even euphoric in his presence. However it did not stop the occasional accident happening which constantly drew an ever increasing amount of attention.
For example one day at the age of 19, after having had his wicked way with a number of both boys and girls, leading them on until he decided to cast them off, his ego ever growing due to the attention he always received, he finally met the woman of his dreams and wished to spend the night, his first night of this nature, with her. There the two lay knoodling and making out. Though as they continued she complained playfully, giggling all the while, of how she felt quite tired and was unsure that she could do this tonight. Knowing he could manipulate her he continued onward anyway; The worst decision he ever made. Moments later his love was dead, She'd overdosed on morphine.
Jacob was now the centre of a police investigation and being the actual murderer had no chance to escape the law, especially as none would believe his story. Although it seems someone had been watching him for a long time.

Personality:
Jacob was once a young innocent boy, naive and playful. Then adolesence hit and his playful side took the reign, he used his powers for his own gain finding it very easy to make friends in all the right places, though his still innocence and strong moral code held him back from doing any real bad to anyone.
This however changed dramatically over the time since his capture, now the sweet boy is no more and instead he has become everything that would have ever made his evil twin evil. This includes the want to play with people's minds and emotions. However he is very good at keeping calm, due to his ego being very large and thinking that none can better him. Although when he does lose his composure things become.... explosive.

How they captured you:
After hearing about a series of unfortunate events occurring in one of the cities located in the middle of England one of the top agents ordered some of his goons to take a look. There they found themselves witness this young man have the ability to bend anyone to his will it seemed, but he may have just been charismatic, though they didn't find him charming not being close enough for the effects of his powers to work on them. However they also thought it could have just been an English thing because those Brits are STRANGE.
However when the murder of his girlfriend occurred they knew something was a miss. Playing on his vulnerable side, they offered him protection if he told them the truth about what happened. He pleaded telling them they wouldn't believe him but they persisted. Eventually he confessed and they knew they had found their mark.
A few under the table deals later Jacob arrived in Japan to begin his 'new life'. They'd told him that they had the technology to cure him but first needed to run some tests.
From these constant tests Jacob began to realise how powerful he actually was, and many a time the scientists at work had to be removed from his room, usually just before anything serious happened. Realising that keeping him controlled was not an option they gave him more of a free reign, or at least he thought so, however the whole time through many different forms of persuasion (some obvious like appealing to his ego, some not so obvious like brainwashing him) they were actually crafting him into a weapon.. Eventually they allowed him to devise his own tests, see what he wanted to do. They knew however he would push himself further than they could by demanding it from him. With this Jacob let his emotions take the reign and slowly lost his grip on normality. He was not by any means insane, just now having time and time again be told that he was all powerful, that he could have and do as he wised and seeing how his own powers worked, his reality was different from what society saw as acceptable. Jacob has become a megalomaniac.

How do they control you:
Due to his want to fight for the government, to prove that he is god like, they find it easy to persuade him to do their bidding by appealing to the fact that he WANTS to use his powers, that he wants to be all powerful. However this in turn is all because of the initial brainwashing etc that was conducted at the start, and every so often, his subconscious, the real Jacob, makes an appearance and looks at the ring on his hand, realising that there was a much simpler time before all this.

Extra:
Jacob needs to be taken down a notch... but it may be easier to just manipulate him by thinking you're doing what he wants... or maybe you are... maybe you just can't help yourself.

Mutant Power: Energy Fiend. Absorbs energy, from batteries, power plants, people, anything, and harnesses it as he pleases. This can be ranged from electricity to fire. cannot use it to regenerate, but can use it as a sort of adrenaline rush. If he absorbs too much power, he bursts (he overloads and lets out a large discharge of energy) and is knocked unconscious. If he uses too much, he loses his power until he can absorb enough to get it back. (about as much as a car battery would offer.)
Bio: Leo Adams, born in Kyoto, was born into a poor family. From the beginning, it was just him, his older sister by 6 years, Lyra, and his mother. From birth, he had exhibited strange abilities, and had eventually gained control. But not until it was too late. When he was 15, there was a break in at his home, and his mother was killed. Not by the intruder, but by a wayward power burst. Leo had burned the intruder, but in the struggle, his mother was hurt. With her last breath, she told him to find a mahogany box in her closet. It would explain his powers, and held a family heirloom, with unknown powers. He left his home, tears in his eyes, and sought his older sister. He lived with her, for 8 years, until she revealed her powers to him. She had understood, all that time, and offered no help to him. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Leo left, taking only the box with him. A full year later, he was informed by an official that his sister was under their control. He was told to either comply, or they'd drain her of her powers and kill her.
Personality: Very laid back, and cynical. Tends to be a bit deceptive and sarcastic. Likes giving the impression that he is reckless, however, he is truly a careful, calculating person. Tends to go all out when confronted. Places an abnormal amount of importance on where his loyalties lie.
Dislikes: Overcharging. Ignorant people.
Likes: Food, swords, parkour.
How they captured you: He put up quite a fight, however, he had no choice when he was informed of his sister. As much as she betrayed him, she was still family. He had no choice but to comply.
How do they control you: Threatening to kill his sister, and overloading him when he does not comply.
Extra: Likes to be barefoot most of the time. Also keeps a self forged sword with him at all times. Is very able with a blade, or any type of melee weapon, but firearms are foreign to him.
