G, I'd really like an rp partner...

Just thought I'd make a request thread, since I tend to get frustrated with the sometimes slow pace of group rps, I'm looking for an active (meaning frequently posting) rp partner for a 1x1. There's more room for character and relationship development in private RP's and (I'm hoping) more frequent posting, since you're only waiting on one person, not five.

So... I'm pretty flexible when it comes to genre - I'll rp anything with a good storyline, so throw your ideas at me

I'm not terribly into highschool rp's, unless they have some kind of interesting plot. Same with 'school for the gifted' type things. There needs to be more to it than they have powers, they go to school.
Romance is always fun, but not a must.
Decent post length - also fun. I'm more inspired by a detail than a one line response.
I prefer to play females, but I can be flexible

Well, I check this usually once a day at least, so a post a day would be nice. Obviously if you've got something on, I don't mind if you miss a day or so. Even more frequently than once a day, sometimes. As I said, I'm not fussy about topic.. I like a little of the fantastical in rp's, and I'd prefer if there's going to be romance, that it's not the only plot point. What are your ideas/anything you've been wanting particularly to do lately?

But I do have a few things in mind.

I tried to start a murder-mystery-type thing based on the Bluebeard tales, as a group RP earlier on, on another site. It didn't really work with several people but it could work fantastically with just two.

Hey there! I'd be willing to roleplay with you! I have a plot maybe you'd be interested in. I can play the guy or girl in this so... yeah... ok plot time!

When John Doe’s girlfriend disappears everything in his world turns upside down. The search goes on for what seems like forever to him, but eventually everyone starts giving up on the search. Jane is presumed dead and life in their small town begins to go back to normal for everyone except John. He lost the only girl he’d ever truly loved and he’s determined not to let go of her memory and the possibility she might somehow be alive somewhere. As time passes he grows steadily more depressed and withdrawn from life until he finally can’t take it anymore. John finds himself in a terrible car accident. As he struggles with the choice of just letting himself die as his car sets fire he is startled to see Jane sitting beside him. She urges him not to give up and to save himself. Listening to the phantom of his lost love he escapes from the car just before it explodes. After the near death experience, his friends and family watch as he seems to revive from his depression. They hope that he’s finally come to terms with Jane’s death and is beginning to move on. But John is holding onto Jane’s memory tighter than ever, or rather holding on to her ghost that follows him everywhere.

Yeah, that sounds cool - when would we start it? After the car accident? And what would the storyline be after that point? Just how they get by while all John's relatives and friends think he's crazy, talking to someone they can't see and percieve to be dead?
