The noon bell rings out over the wasteland that is swarming with demons just out of eye's view. The school stirs as classes let out, some people wake up, and over all the school is completely and totally alive with people.

She never wants to be alone. It was something that drives her mad. When she's along mental pictures of the past would haunt her. She needed company at all times or atleast someone who would actually help her get past those tortured years.
Name: Kale Michaels
Kale has a katana that used to belong to his father. The blade is roughly three-and-a-half-feet long and it's extremely sharp. The blade is extremely shiny, as Kale keeps it well polished. The handle of the katana in black leather that it wrapped in white bandages — this was done so Kale could keep a good grip on it. In the blade of the sword the name James is engraved into it. James is the name of Kale's father. Kale calls the katana Purotekutā, or Protector, as it saved his life many times once it fell into his possession.
Kale also has two short swords that he also obtained from his father. The blades are a little over a foot-and-a-half long, and they're just as sharp as his katana. They're also just as polished. The handle of each short sword is encrusted with rubies and emeralds — the short swords were very special to his father. One sword is named Anzen no engimono, or Bring of Safety, and the other is called Aku kara no hogo, or Protector from Evil.
Kale has several weaknesses, but the biggest one is the cross shaped birthmark on his forehead — whenever he's close to a demon, it starts burning, and it can become so bad that he can't fight, rendering his useless. Kale also has a habbit of reliving the night his parents were killed, whether demons are around or not. He can sometimes burst into hysteric cries, or he may begin attacking those around him — he's very unpredictable at times.
Kale has somewhat long, straight silver hair that falls down to his shoulders in a shaggy mess. His eyes are dark brown and he has extremely pale skin, practically translucent. He has a tall slender body, but he is quite muscular, despite his appearance. He is extremely tall, reaching six feet and three inches. He has two tattoos — a black wolf tattoo on his right shoulder, and a black flame-like looking tattoo that goes up his neck and across the left side of his face. Another noticeable feature about Kale, other than the tattoos on his neck/face and shoulder, is the scar that runs down over his right eye and onto his cheek.
He wears a royal blue bandana that he has tied over his forehead to conceal a strange cross looking mark on his forehead that he's had ever since he was born — like a birthmark, if you will. He wears a lose fitting, sleeveless royal blue collared shirt with red trimming, which he keeps tucked into his baggy royal blue pants. He wears a red belt with his pants. On his hands he wears fingerless brown leather gloves, and on his feet he wears soft brown leather boots. To add to his outfit, Kale wears a greyish cloak that conceals the katana strapped to his back, and also hides the two short swords he keeps on his belt.
Kale lived a somewhat normal life when he was little. Around the age of fourteen, demons began attacking people around the world, and his family began training to fight demons. Kale was given a katana from his father — Purotekutā. His father told him that his father (Kale's grandfather) had given that to him when he was little, and he now wanted Kale to have it, so he would always be able to protect himself when the time came.
To mark themselves as demon hunters, Kale's entire family got flame-like tattoos. They could put it anywhere they wanted. Since the fact that they were demon hunters was beginning to spread, most of Kale's family wanted to hide the fact that they were demon hunters, and so they concealed the tattoo that branded them as one somewhere on their body where no one would see. Kale, however, was proud of the fact that he was a demon hunter, and he didn't care who knew it, so he put the tattoo on his neck/face. He was fifteen at the time.
When Kale turned sixteen, he and his family were attacked durning the night by a group of demons. Kale had a mother, a father, two older sisters, and two older brothers — he was the youngest. The family quickly armed themselves, but, try as they might, his family was brutally slaughtered. Kale and his father were the last two alive by the end of the attack. They thought they had killed all the demons, but they didn't realized they had forgotten one. Kale had stupidly ignored the pain from his birthmark, assuming it was just taking a while to cool down after such an intense fight — but he was wrong. There was still one left, and the demon tried to kill Kale, but his father saw the demon lunge for him, and he put himself between Kale and the demon, sacrificing his life for the sake of his son. Kale was shocked by this and, now filled with rage, attacked the demon. The creature wasn't able to put up much of a fight, as he was overpowered by Kale's rage, but he did manage to scratch Kale's right eye. Thankfully, it didn't injure his eye, but it did leave a scar. Kale seriously injured the demon, but it somehow got away, leaving Kale alive for one reason or another. He then burried his family and left the blood filled house, swearing revenge on those who seek it. After that day, he never ignored even a slight twinge of pain from his scar.
Despite being sixteen when his family was killed, the event traumatized Kale, and he sometimes finds himself reliving the horrific experience over and over again.
When Kale was seventeen, he got a wolf tattoo on his right shoulder blade in honor of his father, who always said that if he wanted to be any animal he wanted, it would be a wolf — it was his way of remembering his father, though he still had his swords. Around the same time, Kale took to music as a way of letting off some steam, and he became very good at playing the guitar.
When Kale turned eighteen, he somehow stumbled upon a school called The Last Hope, and ever since he's stayed there, practicing harder to perfect his demon fighting so he could one day avenge his family.
Kale really likes music, and it's now like a hobby for him. He enjoys playing his guitar whenever he can, and occassionally sings, but only if he knows he's alone. He enjoys being outside, as he traveled a lot after his family was killed, and he ended up spending many nights under the stars. He doesn't like talking about his family, as it brings back memories, which leads to reliving the terrible night. He is often seen with his guitar — almost as often as he's seen with his katana and two short swords. Kale is very quiet and resevered, and he doesn't trust people easily. Though if someone does manage to earn Kale's trust and befriend him, they can be assured that they have a friend for life.
Name: Trinity Lois Fletcher
Weapon(s): Trinity owns two long, curved daggers. She was given them by her mother before the Demons came, as she knew Trinity would need them soon. Trinity also knows a little bit of self-defence (she trained before the war began) and she knows it would rendered pretty much useless against Demons from the Underworld, but she is still confident she has the knowledge to defend herself.
The curved daggers are black, and the handle is course and rough, making them hard to grip onto. Trinity has no name for her too dagger, but she finds it easy to sneak around and stab something in the back, than charge at it from the front with an enormous great-sword. Although the daggers have no name, Trinity has considered naming them "Perpaduan", Malay for "Unity". She has to yet to decide to name them or not.
Weaknesses: Trinity has an emotional weakness. Her little sister, Becca, was killed by the Demons while Trinity watched. The memory still haunts her, and whenever she sees a Demon, she begins to panic. She knows she has to defend Earth and fights them off anyway. Because of her panic, her blows are less accurate and striking is not as fast as it could be. She has been trying to overcome her phobia, but it doesn't go away.
There is also Trinity's minor phobia of heights. She will go on a roller-coaster where she is safely secured to a harness, otherwise she is going no one near anything tall. Trinity prefers to ground, as to her, it feels like her personal own solitude. The ground offers protection in the shadows, in turn making it easier for Trinity to sneak around and stab the Demons with her two curved daggers.
Appearance: Trinity is a fairly tall and pretty woman. Most people would describe her as Asian, as she comes from Malaysia. Her eyes are dark brown, with a rim of hazel around the edge. Trinity's hair is very dark brown (it almost seems black) and the end of her hair is tipped light brown. Her hair only reaches just past her shoulders, so most of the time it is tied up. Trinity is roughly 170 cm tall (5 ') and weighs roughly 65 kg (143 lb).
Trinity has her ears pierced, although she's not allowed to wear earrings. She sometimes considers getting studs to put in so the holes don't grow over, but she is more concerned about staying alive.
If Trinity were to be walking down the street on an average day, you'd see her usually dressed in something resembling jeans or shorts, and a simple tank top. She was never too bothered with fashions. She'll wear anything, as long as it's not too provocative.
Bio: If Trinity were to be described in one word, it would certainly be "quiet" or "unexpected". In her schooling years, Trinity hung back in shadows and got great marks for pretty much all of her exams and assignments. She never bragged about it or really had any friends to brag or gossip to. She was always considered an outcast, a quiet outcast who silently achieves. Trinity is used to being in solitude, where she is able to get things done. She's not too fond of making friends, as she coped fine without them in school. Trinity has only ever felt close to one person, which was her sister, Becca. Becca was murdered by the Demons in front of Trinity while they were in the house with their parents.
Trinity's parents divorced when Trinity was young, so she doesn't remember them fighting or anything like that. When the Demons came, they got back together in order to keep some hope for Trinity for Becca, only to find Becca was killed shortly after they were wedded again. The two slunk apart even further than before the divorce, so now Trinity's family is falling apart. She tries not to have a say in what her mother and father do with their lives, but sometimes it's just too hard to stay out of it.
Trinity, as said many times before, prefers solitude. She would have been nervous about training with other people in order to defend Earth, but she was chosen (was it selection?) out of many others to rise about the rest. The daggers also go with the theme of solitude. Trinity is able to quietly sneak around in all the chaos and attack the Demons from behind, when they are least expecting it. She has no experience with her two daggers, only to the extend of how to stab them, and where is most vulnerable. Her mother only gave them to her and told her it would represent her family's unity.
Quirks: Before the war, Trinity would draw. She was especially fond of drawing Japanese anime characters, with beautiful long flowing hair. Sometimes she would employ her little sister Becca to write a storyline, and Trinity would draw to that accordingly. Trinity dislikes and absolutely hates someone reading or viewing her work. She feels Becca's storyline and her drawings are private, and wishes to not show them off to the world.
Trinity also has a nudging feeling that she's bisexual, although she would never really be interested in a relationship in the middle of a war.
Dorm: Moon Dormitory (just to make it interesting)
Name: Marina Campfa Oceantine
Weapons: A long shining silver halberd with a brilliant ruby in the middle of the three blades. A midnight blue sash trails from the lower half of the staff, where it is held. She also has a blade used for closer combat, it's a simple little knife-like thing with more midnight cloth wrapped around the handle. It is about the length of her forearm.
Weakness: Wind. It annoys her to a great length. She finds it distracting, uncomfortable, and difficult to work in.
Appearence: She is about five and a half feet tall, with knee-length hair died turquoise blue & straight, regular bangs. None of that side-sweapt stuff. She doesn't like that. She likes to wear a black and white striped longsleeve shirt and a pair of jean shorts that go down to the middle of her thigh. She also wears white fingerless gloves, black knee-high stockings, and midnight blue combat boots.
Bio: She was just getting out in the world and really seeing the place as a teenager when everything happened. She somehow managed to stay alive, so she hunted down the school and started there. She really had nothing else to do anyways. I mean, yeah. Demon hunter school, or demon dinner. She knew what she wanted.
Quirks: Hates quiet people. HAAATES quiet people. They're always the oddest ones. You never know what they're thinking! Marina isn't hyper or anything, she's just loud. And really blunt. She's not trying to insult you half the time, it just comes out that way and she doesn't notice it. She LOVES music. Mostly music from specific string instruments like the violin or chelo, but nothing is more beautiful to her than someone well versed with a flute~ She also loves sitting in sun, or rather, what sun is left...
