As the other asha'man gathered around and embraced the source, the Red, Cellia, joined them, another dedicated in tow, her warder. "Okay, who will be leading the flows," the woman asked as she looked at the blackcoats. Though she was technically a Red, she showed no apprehension about being around them. Edynol noticed through out the past months that once becoming bonded to an asha'man, Aes Sedai seemed to become more accepting of his ilk, especially the Reds. When Edynol raised a hand to Cellia's question, she nodded. "Very well. I will establish the link and pass control on to you." As everyone joined hands, the Aes Sedai established the link. Edynol felt a slight draining sensation when the link was first formed. "Okay, I am now passing control to you," she said as if she were instructing him, which Edynol wasn't against. He had only practiced linking a few times, and in those time never actually performed a weave.

Once control was turned over to Edynol, a wide smile appeared on his face as he felt a surge of power fill him. "Thank you, Cellia Sedai," he said, gasping a few times between words. He had never been linked to more than one before. He felt like he could do anything, grow a forest, mountains even. As Edynol wove the gateway, even some of the other asha'man gaped at who deftly he performed the weave. By the time he was finished, the gateway was large enough for over twenty men to walk abreast comfortably. The gateway led to the inner city, where a few dozen soldiers stood ready.

Daerid was the first to walk through and greet the soldiers on the other side. "Stay your hands," he said in a deep, calm tone. "We are friends. We are here to protect the queen and her city, as per the Lord Dragon, and warn you of a massive force of shadowspawn readying a siege."

As Edynol stepped through the gateway, he heard the captain of the other soldiers speak. "Queen Elayne is not here," the man said. "She left the city days ago heading towards Merillor. Lady Dyelin is acting in her stead."

Daedrid nodded with a grunt. "Seems rumors were true after all," he grumbled under his breath. "Very well. We will protect the inner city, in case any shadowspawn break through the first perimeter. Be sure to have those dragons ready, we made need them." The man nodded and went to organize the rest of the soldiers.

Fantasy, though a really good plot goes a long way with team work. But fantasy still rules it all :)

After Edynol went through the gateway and all seemed to be clear on the otherside, Vickra gave the go ahead for the Aiel to begin crossing over, helping the soldiers carry over the wounded as even if they didn't care for them. They were all men who needed a little assistance getting over into the protection of the walls the news of the Queen truly not present in the castle made no difference to them. The Aiel were here to help protect the Queen and Caemlyn as such their skills were still deeply needed. Vickra ended up going through with the last of the Aiel with a nod of thanks to those who kept it open. Where she never went through a gateway before it proved to be well handled by those who had the ability so it was a leap of faith that she led a few horses through by the reins.

Handing them to a waiting stablehand as she went back to what she did best, many still needed more of a healing touch as they sat, stood, laid around the healing walls and nothing wasn't getting done fast enough. A soldier with a broken lower leg was groaning in pain as a apprentice healer was still feeling around the broken bone trying to decide what to do as he lacked the knowledge to know he had to set it back into place first before anything else. Moving the green horn out of the way the Wise One gave him a look that had meaning silently shared as the soldier gave a nod, gripped the edges of the table laying flat on his back, and clamped his teeth down on some bark root. Grazing her hand over the skin the Wise One quickly told the green horn to watch and if he dared to look away she would make him regret it. A hand gripping around the top of the ankle and the other around the top of the calf just below the crease of the knee. She told the soldier to take a deep breath in and upon the exhale she pulled and twisted the leg as two loud, teeth jarring cracks were heard as the bone was set back into place on a man who was white knuckled and trying not to make a tear. Grabbing the sleeve of walking soldier she put him to work to assist the green horn brace and cast the leg so in a few months it would be good as new.

By then there was word that everyone was through the gateway safely with not much extra time left. "Well that's one thing completed successfully then..." she said to the lad who gave her the news. "Go fetch more clean water now, were going to need it..be swift!" making another pass to making sure everything was getting back on track she caught site of the man who recently chewed her out with words waiting on a spare table to be seen. She had rather hoped that he had a broken bone so she could help with a little pain causing satisfaction to remind him who exactly she was. Not even looking into his eyes she took some fresh bandages and placed down a bowl of clean water with a sponge submerged inside. "Alright lets see to your wounds before they get infected from another day of not being addressed."

Mordecai was the last of his men to walk through the portal, it felt good to be off the front lines at long last his men were on their last legs and he wasn't much better. While his injuries were restricted to cuts, bruises, and burns, his mind was shot and he was sure he'd fall over if he started walking down a gradual decline. Leaning heavily against the wall using his staff to offer extra support he watched his Stone Blades forgo their own healing until the Daggers were all taken care of and even among the Daggers most of them passed on treatment if their wounds weren't horribly grave. He'd have to call everyone Stone Blade after this battle they've all earned the honor and then some.

As he continued watching his men slowly allow themselves to heal he caught sight of the Wise One walking toward him with healing items and such. Was she planning on treating him herself she didn't look to pleased with the idea and he could agree he'd refuse to be treated until all his men were patched up and recovering.
"My apologies Wise One but I'd much rather not use up healing supplies my men need more than myself. I'll be fine for a few more hours while they're being treated."
