Looking for new Partners (Yes, I'm a n00b)

Hey everyone. This looked like the best place to start for me so here's what I'm looking for. I'm pretty flexible as you'll soon see.

Genres I Like : Romance, Friendship, Drama, Angst (but not TOO much), Adventure

I'm pretty flexible here. Angst is the only genre I'll tolerate in small doses. Like, I can't deal with the following:

"John is dying of cancer and has only months to live...ect ect etc. Can he find love? ect ect."

No. Just no. Life is depressing enough so I'd like to do something relatively happy to start off with.

Interests I have: Romance, Vampire (not Twilight), Mafia, Pirates, anime, high school/college, Harry Potter, bands/music RPs--I'm willing to try anything. However, my comfort zone is modern day everything, but if you're patient with me, I'm willing to venture out some and do other things :-)

Pairings: guy/guy or girl/girl, ect.

*Note: Just know that I'm very hesitant to play female roles unless I'm RPing with a guy who wants a woman or we're doing a girl/girl thread. So it will be pretty damn hard to get me to do a traditional guy/girl RP.

Level of roleplay: Well I'm a good writer. I've been RPing on messenger for about 2 years now. I know what I'm doing and how to write well. I have carried RPs in the past but I'd rather RP with someone who isn't afraid to take the lead every now and then. Don't make me come up with all the twists and turns. After all, its your RP too.


My character sheets... are never really elaborate. You get a basic description and any necessary background info. I don't really do fantasy/medieval so chances are you'll be lucky to get a paragraph.

What I'm Interested In:

~ vampire x vampire: It can be two males or two females, doesn't matter. But I'd like an equally dominant person for I don't see a vampire being a weakling.

~ rich person x poor person: You know the classic Pretty Woman type tale but with two males or females. No, it wont necessarily involve a prostitute. It can be any poorer person.

~ stranded: Two enemies/rivals are lost/stranded on an island/unknown place and have to come together to survive only they end up falling in love...eventually...or one of them dies...eventually. I like killing off my people

~ prince x common male: But modern day prince
