So today I was trying to plan for another rp but came across some old posts so I decided I want to try this out again. There will be some differences this time and the story will change as well.

Spoiler: Background 

In the world of Wynn there is a fairytale:

Hundreds of years ago the world was unbroken, whole if you will. In time man became a conduit for all evil. This evil twisted man and corrupted them. In a last resort some of the most mystical of the human race split the world into two, sealing the evil of man with them that performed the sacred ritual.
It is said that sometimes the sealed evil leaks back into our realm causing chaos. The monsters under your bed, in your closet, the made up stories of demons, vampires, and werewolves they are all true manifestations of the evil of old.

So the world of Wynn is just like modern day earth, with all its different cultures and technology. Hopefully you all can work with that and don't need more detail.

Llystra is different: more of a dead world without much populace. Barren landscapes, ruins of cities, few populated areas with huts or tree huts. The Yondles are the nomadic/shamanistic people that reside in Llystra. In the last few decades they have lived quite peaceably. There isn't much color in the world mostly everyone wears black,white, browns, greys.

The Shade are evil creatures that get their name from their appearance in Llystra. (They are shadow like) They vary in strength and intelligence but have the ability to cross over to the world of Wynn. On arrival they manifest into different physical forms and begin causing chaos and destruction. Shade originally were created from mankind's desire to be destroyed. The ultimate freedom of annhilation. However, between mankinds hope to survive and the Shades human like desire to fulfill its own wants. That goal never happened. Most shades instead follow after their own desires: Greed, power, lust, etc.

Now the Yondle are also able to cross over and help prevent the destruction of Wynn. The Shade Slayers hunt the Shade in Wynn when sent there on pilgrimages. Pilgrimages vary in the group sent and the reason behind it, from a rite of passage to killing a specific Shade causing too much chaos. The Yondle can only travel between worlds using part of a Shade. (Usually in the form of a amulet or trinket but not limited to that.)

Spoiler: Plot 

The hostility between Yondle and Shade hasn't become as prevelant in the last few decades with many Shade making their way into Wynn. Something big is in the works and a small group made up of individuals from both worlds are going to find themselves smack dab in the middle of it all. The outcome of the two worlds will rest on their shoulders even if they don't realize it. The first bit of this rp will lead to the individuals connecting with each other and forming the group.

In the small town of Gnatut something is amiss. For a few Wynnites their eyes will be opened to things that were only known as fairy tales.

Spoiler: Abel 

Name: Abel

Age: 24

World: Llystra: Yondle

Appearance: Abel usually wears his traditional Llystra garb consisting of a black top and white pants. The top and pants however have had so many patches put on them that they almost look checkered with the top having white patches and the pants having black ones. Physically Abel is in great condition having to constantly be ready to fight the Shade. He stands at 6'2 and is about 200 lbs, other than sticking out like a sore thumb because of the way he dresses everyone always notices the absence of his right arm as well. His eyes are a cold blue and his hair is light brown that is often kept short on the sides and lets his top and bags grow wavily out over them.

He carries with him a bag that hangs along his left hip along with a sheath. The sheath holds a foot long dagger like claw that he uses as a blade that is only sharp on one side and comes to a fine point.

History: Abel being the firstborn from his parents was raised according to Yondle law and groomed to be a Shade slayer. This consists of learning the art of magic and survival skills necessary for travelling around Llystra and into Wynn. His younger years were spent in little trips with mentoring slayers and learning the laws of the Yondle, especially considering conduct in Wynn. His first hunt was at the typical rite of passage age of seventeen, it was after that he was given permission to cross into Wynn and had his first trinket to do so.

Three years ago Abel suffered a terrible defeat on one pilgrimage to Wynn with a group of four others. It was in that battle he lost his arm, the last three years having been a time of adjustment and rehabilitation for the young man. It was only over the last five months he had begun making pilgrimages again, however he no longer travelled with other slayers.

Magic: Abel's magic is unique in that it acts as a syphon to Shade power, taking whatever it is the Shades use to manifest their abilities Abel can then manifest it as he sees fit. Most times he does this to create for himself a right arm.

Fighting style: Abel's fighting style relies heavily on his speed and flexibility. To compensate for the loss of his arm he has developed strong back muscles which he uses to shift his weight easily and often leaps and weaves around the Shade he encounters, not wanting to impede his speed he sports no armour so often relies on parrying blows or sacrificing the created right arm to save himself.

Name: Gröndan

Alias: Kevin White

Age: 14 Shade years, appears eternally 25

World: From Llystra, currently residing in Wynn. (Shade)

Appearance: As a Shade, Gröndan could be described as a hideous bat-creature, and likes to take on this appearance while in Wynn if the occasion calls for it. Otherwise, he has a human-like appearance that vampires would appear as, with pale skin and occasionally red or golden eyes, depending on his mood. He likes to take on the form of bats and a patch of mist as well, stuff the vampires of old did.

History: : Gröndan took his early life slow, studying the ways of the Yondle so that he would know their weaknesses. In Llystra, he never saw them as very weak, since they had the numbers and the intelligence to overpower Shades that didn’t work together. However, that all changed when he crossed over to Wynn, in an effort to find something… entertaining. He found much more than he had ever dreamed of.

In Wynn, the Yondle are horribly outdone in technology. This was the weakness Gröndan, now known as Kevin White, had been searching for. He manifested into a human form, and he stayed low for a little while, adapting slowly to Wynnite life. Upon learning of vampires, his appearance changed slightly to match a more modern version of their view of the mythological beasts. He was utterly fascinated by the creatures. Neglecting his study of the humans, Kevin devoted his time to studying the vampires, stealing books by shape-shifting into something that wouldn’t attract notice as he did, preferably into a bat. Once he had learned all he could, Kevin again resumed his study of the Wynnites. That was a year ago.

Now, Kevin has killed and replaced a wealthy entrepreneur, having spent the better half of the year studying the one man in order to completely blend into his life. Luckily, there wasn’t much to the late businessman, so Kevin could simply slip into his life as if into a different set of clothes. The man’s business deals leave him comfortably rich without much interference from Kevin himself, though the occasional meeting is required, which irks Kevin to no end. Nonetheless, this leaves Kevin in a very good position to begin his plans for conquest of Wynn. Now, if he could only contact some of his own kind…

Fighting style: Kevin is more likely to try and talk his way out of things before resorting to violence. However, once he’s riled, he’ll throw everything he has at you. His obsession with vampires typically has him attack in a vampiresque manner, though he has none of the weaknesses real vampires do.

Shade powers: As mentioned before, his obsession with vampires is seen in his powers. He’ll use attacks that involve bats, seduction, hypnotism, and fireballs (think Castlvania for that one). He of course has increased strength and endurance, though that’s not much of a ‘power’.

Occupation: Gröndan, as Kevin White, is a wealthy business owner. Most of his business doesn’t involve much input from him directly, so he is free to do most anything he wants during the days and nights.

Its just wishful thinking with some sarcasm, I highly doubt it'll happen haha. Character is accepted of course! So I'm thinking at least one Wynnite before we start playing this out. I haven't put everything up for advertising yet but I will.

On a side note, we should really make a post for the RPA live show. Our poor baby has been neglected for too long.
