Default T/M A different generation (Mutant rp) Part 1

    Zara’s post

Zara awoke from another unusual dream, in this dream she was surrounded by a wasteland of nothing but ice. Just the frozen tundra all around, the wind blowing fiercely; he frozen brush looking as if it would be uprooted, the frigid air twirling all around. It was then that Zara awoke the sun just starting to rise over the horizon. She looked towards her clock and noticed the time. It was nearly 7 am, spring had already started and summer was just around the corner. A few schools still had exams, but most students had already completed them. Zara sat up in her bed rubbing her tired eyes and looking around her single bedroom apartment. Her dreams had once more caused trouble, a layer of frost covered her room, and her blanket was nearly frozen solid. With a soft sigh she stood sweeping her hand over the blanket and removing the frost it was almost as if the ice, and moisture itself was completely absorbed. In truth this helped keep Zara’s skin soft and moisturized.

Running her fingers through her hair Zara looked about the rest of her room thinking for a moment. Her eyes were calm like the silence before the storm. She walked over towards her dresser grabbing a pair a denim shorts and a tank top. One that was blue and had the graphic of some ice cubes melting the text above the picture read ‘Horror Show’. It was actually one of her favorite shirts not just because of the humor she found it; the shirt was also cute and hugged her in all the right ways. After getting dressed for the day she walked over towards her small bathroom. Brushing her hair in the mirror and washing her face. Instead of patting the water off her face with a towel it simply absorbed into her skin. With that she grabbed her purse and headed out the door of her apartment it was now nearly eight by the time she was fully dressed and ready to go. The sun was shining and welcoming the world to a new day if only that was truly what would happen. Exiting her apartment building and walking onto the streets she looked around thinking about what on earth was in store for her not truly realizing how much her life would change over the next week. How much they would know so soon…

    Lilith’s Post

The blonde women slept soundly in her bedroom that was provided by the government. For the mutants who were captured they were given monitored rooms, and a set up that is similar to a dorm room situation. They are in fact given a cafeteria in which to dine and several training rooms so they can get more control over their powers. If co-operation is not given then consequences are immanent. Each mutant has a specially designed room and usually some form of either persuasion or control device. This is the norm for Lilith a girl who was found almost eight years ago. Due to her circumstances, she finds this not the worst place in the world having been through concentration camps and the issues she faced in WWII. However she does remember a time when she was a young girl, where she lived normally with loving parents a nice house, even a pet cat. That time was lost, taken away a long time ago.

Lilith’s room was pitch black the only thing you could see was the subtle glow of a red light. That light was the Bio-energy absorption unit that was meant to look like a simple hair ribbon. In truth it was attached to her skull, something that when activated near the facility her mutant powers are cut by half at the very least. The lights in her room suddenly all turned on these lights even replicated the sun being sun lamps if you will. Immediately her crimson eyes opened and she glared at the light. Quickly she slinked into a dark void avoiding so much light this was how they woke her making sure she couldn’t tolerate the light. A hand reached out of the darkness from under the bed grabbing some clothes. It was a strange habit but in truth she always got ready in her domain the darkness.

Once fully dressed, a small void appeared in the hallway outside her room this is when she walked out. The artificial light having little effect on the girl rather then the sun lamps that were installed in her room. “Time for another meeting then….” She said with a soft sigh walking down the hall and towards the conference room. The mutants were about to get there first assignment for the last few weeks meetings and briefings were given but prior to this they were not let outside the building. This was their first true release, the first time they are being assigned to something. Through out the section of the facility that house the mutants a intercom started. “All mutants please report to Conference room 4B be prepared this is a mission not a drill”. Lilith shook her head still groggy from the rude awakening in truth she would be her normal crazy self in about ten minutes.

After walking and finally finding the proper conference room on the other side of the building Lilith entered. An Agent stood in the center of the room, a half circle table in front of him big enough to let eight people sit comfortably. “Welcome….I am glad to see our first mutant is the first to arrive” He said with a smirk, sun glasses over his eyes. He had a similar look you would think an FBI agent would have or MIB. On the table itself was a small spread there were bagels, doughnuts and muffins available for the mutants to eat before going out on their mission. This was a rare commodity but still Lilith was hungry after just being awaken. The blonde female plopped herself down in the center seat of the semi-circle table. Grabbing a blueberry muffin and chomping down into it as she waited for the others.

Chiyoko was lying in her bed staring at the ceiling. She couldn’t sleep she had gotten another letter from the government. She hated getting them especially after she refused the first time, but now she was starting to think it was the best for her family. When she read the letter she was so angry it burst into flames, which scared her.

With a sigh she got out of bed and went to the kitchen to get some milk to help her sleep. After she got the milk she sat at the table and took sips of it. She finished her milk and went back to bed.

Ron was having one of those flash back dreams again. Just last night she was forced into another vision by the officers and now she can't breath. Sweat was streaming down her body, she wanted to scream and shout for help but she felt powerless. Just as the most intense part of the memory was about to occur the intercom sounded and woke up Ron just in time.

Her room was like all other normal rooms. Ron didn't really have that much of a dormant power to be bottle up like some of the other mutants. Her power was just Visons and forced visions if you actually look at it. Stairing at the walls of the white painted pure walls Ron thought of her foster mother and how she was just kidding herself that those stupid government officials would give her back. But a small part of her still hoped that they will. I mean, being an 18 year old, if she would rebel against this government she would surely stand no chance.

It's been 8 years since the government blackmailed her She just couldn't forget that day. All of her friends in the orphanage were... were somewhat dead. they looked dead. Their bodies ley semi-lifeless on the floor. She was so scared that night. Then a surge of memory flowed within her as she remembered the horror of the shocks that she took from these government people. She hated them.

Frankly she didn't want to get up but she could do nothing about it. If she was to stay in bed she would be shocked again with high voltage electricity. She sighed as she got up. She looked at herself in the mirror. What was she to become? What was to become of the people like her? Was there hope for them? Or would they all be devoured by the government.

Ron dressed herself fast as she put on her normal black tank top and skinny jeans. She then picked out her leather jacket and wore it over her tank top. She faced the mirror again examining herself. Her bangs fell on her face. She smiled to herself and clipped her hair with her clip. She touched her reflection in the mirror. She looked normal, seemed normal but who knew that she was so different.

She couldn't handle any more forced visions she still had a hang over from the previous one. She left her dorm like room and proceeded to the conference room 4B. This was a mission. She asked the government countless times about her foster mother and they would just nod. she hated it. Damn them all. Finding the conference room she saw that she was not the first one there. It was a girl. She knew this girl by face but never by name. She was a pretty powerful girl, if she could remember properly, it was darkness she controlled. She sat down on the table and didn't touch the food yet. She was tempted to but something told her to hold back. A voice in the back of her head was murmuring something. But she can't make it out. A vision maybe? But no, nothing came to her at that moment. Frankly she was just tired right now from all the forced visions yet she knew that again it will be repeated.

Xavier woke up from his slumber in early morning. He was in his wolf form - turing into a wolf seemed to be the only animal he had control over. He slowly stood, coming out from beneath the comfort of the small wooden hut he had built - it was designed especially for his wolf form. He stretched, bringing his body close to the dew covered ground, and lifted his head into the crisp morning air. Xavier took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the seemingly fresh air that surrounded him before walking past the shrine and trotting along the beaten path to his family's house, still in his wolf form.

It was still early in the morning, around five, but Xaiver knew his father would be out on the back porch in his wheelchair, waiting for his oldest child, and only son, to return home, even if it was only for a few hours. Despite how much his father missed him when he was gone, Xavier's father understood that he was only leaving the house at night so the government wouldn't bother them as much, though they still got letters from the government every once in a while, all of them saying the same thing: They could heal his father and guarentee that he would be perfectly healthy and well-taken care of - just as long as Xaiver agreed to join them. It was something his father wouldn't allow - he always said the same thing - he'd rather die a slow, painful death rather than give his only son over to the government.

Xavier continued padding his way over the worn path that he took every morning and night to travel back and forth between his family and temporary home. A couple rabbits crossed his path, but none of them ran away from him - they had all learned after awhile that Xavier wouldn't attack them - after he began living on his own for the second time, Xavier became a vegetarian. He enjoyed the company of the animals, and he found they were much better to talk to (he could communicate with them while in his wolf form) than eating them, which went over perfectly well with every animal, as none of the wild creatures were interested in being eaten.

A few minutes passed before Xavier arrived in the backyard of his family's house. As usual, his father was there waiting for him on the back porch, looking even paler and weaker than the day before. He wasted no time to reach his father, who silently wheeled himself into the house (they had a ramp), Xavier following closely behind him. Once inside, his father, whose hair had long since become grey and his orangish eyes still as fiery as ever, turned to Xavier, looking down at the ginger wolf with a small smile, wrinkles creasing his face - with the cancer and age bearing down on him, Xavier's father looked much older than he should.

"Your clothes are where they usually are - I'll be waiting for you in the living room," said his father before wheeling himself down the hallway with what appeared to be much difficulty.

Xavier trotted into the small bathroom on the main floor of the house and transformed back into a human before quickly dressing himself in his usual attire - he wasn't a big fan of the cold air that always filled his family's house. Now dress and in human form, he left the bathroom and made a pot of coffee, fixing a cup for both his father and himself before walking into the living room where his father waited for him, gazing out the window.

"I brought you some coffee, Father," Xavie said, pulling his father out of whatever trance he was stuck in. His father turned partly towards his son, smiling lightly as he was presented with coffee. "Please be careful, Father - it's fresh, so it'll be hot."

Xavier's father lightly placed the coffee mug on a small oak table next to him and watched his son as Xavier positioned himself comfortably on one of the plush leather couches in the living room. His father cleared his throat and said, "So, how are the woods? Everything good, I'm guessing?"

Xavier nodded. "Everything is great- the animals all seeming to be perfectly happy with each other, and I haven't seen any big predators around - I think I've kept them away - at least for a while," he said with a light hearted laugh.

His father chuckled and spoke. "I see - well, we got another let yesterday after you left for the night - it was from the government, surprise, surprise -" he said this with much sarcasm "- and it was saying the usual."

Xaiver sighed. "Father, I wish you would just let me go - you would be healthy again, Mother would feel relieved, and Jessie would be able to enjoy her childhood." Jessie was Xavier's eight-year-old sister who concerned herself on a daily basis with her father's current health status. While Xavier was glad to see she cared for her father a lot, he was worried that with worrying about their father, she would forget that she needed to enjoy her childhood.

"Xavier, you know I would never do that," his fathe said in such a tone that it was made clear he no longer wanted to linger on the subject. "Now, why don't you go wake your mother and sister? I'm sure they'd be glad to see you - your mother will make you breakfast, and then you can go pick up our groceries."

Xaiver nodded - doing his parents shopping was no bother to him, as they rarely needed much, so it was easy to pay for their food and supplies. When he first started to do his parent's shopping, his father didn't like it, but he soon came to realize that having Xavier buy their groceries was actually a big help - it gave them money to pay for his medical expenses.

So, several hours later, around ten o'clock in the morning, Xavier left his house, his guitar strapped to his back, and he slowly walked towards the store, a somewhat long grocery list in his grasp. He wanted to get the things his parents wanted as quickly as possible - though he liked to do favors for his parents, he didn't like being out in public. But in human form, Xavier didn't stick out too much, so he hoped that he could get in and out of the store quickly without drawing too much attention to himself.

"If you are what you eat, then does that mean Voldemort is a unicorn?"
"If that's the case, that means Voldemort is a horny Death Eater."

"Shh. . . . Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
"That's the sound of people drowing, Carl."
"That's what forgiveness sounds like: screaming and then silence."

"Friendship is two pals muching on a well-cooked face together."

"Oh, that was a foot - I've appear to have swallowed an entire person."
"That would be the hotel bar-tender."
"Well, that explains why my Mijito is taking so long."
"It was horrifying - your mouth unhinged like a snake."
    "Wow, that sounds pretty awesome."

"I want to go home - we're leaving."
"In that case, I should probably mention I filled our luggage with orphan meat."
    "Wh-what?!"
"Well, I'm building a Meat Drag and not just any meat will do."

Luka woke up in a startle, as he looked around the room. He was covered in sweat, and his usual self was not there. He took his right hand and ran his fingers through his soaked hair. He had woken from a nightmare, that was real. It had happened to him not to long ago. Some people might think that a couple of years or so can shroud a persons memories of a terrible experience, but not him. He remembers every little detail, and those days were hell to him. He shook his head as he then looked at the clock in his room that was on a nightstand next to his bed. The time was six-o-clock in the morning. He then calmed himself, and got out of bed. The day was just beginning and he had to get ready for his first day off of work.

Now was not the time to ponder on the past. He quickly when into the bathroom, and took a long hot shower. This usually helped him when he was woken up by his past. As soon as he was done with his shower, he stepped out into the bathroom, and used his power to dry himself off. Since his little incident he has used any time he can muster to use his powers, and train his mind. He has not yet found others like himself yet, but hope that one day soon he will, and then maybe they will help him in his goal. He then got dressed, in his usual attire. Black leather pants, and a jacket. Now he was ready to ‘hit the town’, and see what he can find. But with the government still looking for him, and sending the mutants that are under their control after him.

It is a miracle that he has been able to stay one step ahead of them, but he dose know that one day that will all change. When that happens, her will have to fight for his freedom once more, and hope that his friendship with Lilith holds strong. For she will be one of the ones that is hunting him down. He will have to cross that bridge when he comes to it. Until then he will continue to do what he has to do find others, and stay away from the government. He opened the door to his small apartment, and walked out into the hall. He had a feeling that this day was going to be a day to remember. Whether it be for better or worse. He made it to the streets, and started on his way.

Upon waking on some miscellaneous park bench, Katsu sits up and yawns, linking his hands infront of himself before rolling them up and over his head and to his back. He stands, hopping up and down a few times to get the blood flowing in hopes of ousting the morning chill before looking around.

    Time to earn some breakfast.

He places his goggles over his eyes and adjusts his gloves before heading to the more populated morning market. Taking pause in a place of decently even ground and a good amount of people, Katsu starts to dance. He beatboxes his own theme song throughout and despite being mediocre at it, his dancing more than compensates.

He flashes the onlookers a winning smile. "Wanna see something gross?" Laughing lightly, he looks down at his feet before rotating them outwards and eventually 180 degrees before walking backwards. A few of the onlookers cringe in disgust while others look amused. No one offers coin or tip for his antics or dancing.

Sighing, Katsu runs his fingers through his hair as he straightens his feet and his stomach rumbles. "It's going to be a long day."

Thought crossed his mind to just steal something to eat, but he was already in enough trouble with the cops as it was. Not only had he been caught stealing, but he resisted arrest and "assaulted" an officer.

Katsu snorts. I didn't even touch the guy. The media is such bullshit.

Kris laid on his bed after yet another night of no sleep. It was hard to sleep with the collar around his throat. Usually, when he did sleep, it was when his brain made him sleep. He spent most of the previous night thinking about his little sister and whether she was still alive or not. The people who held him hostage here said they did, but one could never be too certain in a situation like this. Just the thought of Jazmine being dead made him sick to his stomach.

Once he was positive he would go through another sleepless night, he got up and got dressed. Not that sleeping now would've made a difference anyway. He was slow to get ready, not wanting for the events that would most likely happen today to happen. He was startled a bit when an intercom announcement said, "All mutants please report to Conference room 4B be prepared this is a mission not a drill." After that, he quickened up his pace to get ready, not wanting any harm to be done onto him.

He walked out of the door to his room and made his way to the confrence room all of the mutants being held hostage or otherwise were supossed to meet at. Every light that was supossed to be red was a different shade of gray. It got on his nerves sometimes, but he managed to deal with his rare colorblindness.

He entered the room to see he wasn't the first one there. If anyone said anyting to him when he entered, then he wasn't listening. He could've been late and still wouldn't have listened. But he wasn't late, for once. He was right on time. He took a seat in an empty one closest to the door and grabbed a donut. The collar around his neck made it hard to swallow, but as long as he was in this building, the collar made it impossible for him to use his powers, so he figured it was just doing it's job, even if it was slowly but surely going to kill him.

Since joining the government Jacob had been rather happy and had all of his needs catered for. He had no need for any form of ability dampener, the government loved his powers, his room was specially catered to collect all of the gases he exerted and they'd be used in order to power the base. he felt important here, safe, at home. He could see the government doing no wrong and was more than happy to help them as they had helped him.

Jacob opened his eyes slowly to the sound of the alarm controlled by the people in charge, that was his only qualm, he wished he could have longer lie-ins, but as the hero he was it was his duty to save the world and provide a brighter future for everyone.

Getting dressed he followed the instructions given to him over the intercom and made his way to the room for a briefing on his next mission. When he arrived he took a doughnut and feasted upon it. "Top breakfast mate." he said his smile everlasting, he gave a cheeky burp that stank like methane, hopefully grossing out the rest of the mutants. However in an attempt to calm any thoughts of "OMG YOU'RE SO GROSSSSSSSS" he then blew and the air smelled sweeter, it would be almost humerous, the breath being laughing gas. However with a stern look from the government agent he twitched and went back into being calm and waited for instructions.

Maldune's eyes opened when the sun slowly started to glint in through her broken shade of her shitty shed that she built in the woods. The sun blinded her temporarily, so when she got up she stumbled upon a broken beer bottle and blood gushed through her hands. Maldune wondered why and how that got there, but like most things, she couldn't remember.

After digging through the emergency supply closet in the back of the shed, she found the bandages with healing cream. When she put it on, a sharp pain rushed through her hand. She cursed and hit the ground with her good hand. She decided that it was time to rinse off and head for the city.

When her tangled blue hair was combed, she headed off into the city wearing her usual t-shirt, dark jeans, and hunter jacket. She was ready to get some goods from the city. With her powers over technology, nothing could stop her, except maybe the government.
