Fang;Warrior;Willow Pack
Fang was about to respond to Alpha Ava's question when Alpha Epoch began laughing. Seeing his Alpha laugh was a rare sight to behold, and Fang found himself smiling he he watched this. Then things quickly went down hill when Alpha Hime talked to Alpha Epoch in such a careless manner, as if she had no respect for the elder Alpha. Fang felt his body his tense up, but he reminded himself that despite the lack of respect, he couldn't lose his temper - Alpha Epoch wouldn't appreciate that, neither would Alpha Ava, and he didn't want to embarrass his Alphas. But Fang found it hard to keep his temper under control when Alpha Hime bared her fangs at Alpha Ava, leaning in way too close for Fang's liking.
The next thing Fang knew, he was on his feet, his ears pressed back against his skull, supressing a loud growl. He silently placed one of his large paws in front of Alpha Ava in a protective manner - she may not like it, but Fang was protective of everyone in the pack, and even though he knew Alpha Ava was more than capable of protecting herself, he knew that as a Warrior, it was his job to keep her safe. Granted, he would never fight an Alpha, as he respected all Alphas equally, whether from his pack or not, but Alpha Hime had crossed the line by getting so close to Alpha Ava. He didn't appreciate the way she had been talking to Alpha Epoch.
Sensing that he may be crossing the line with Alpha Hime, his ears slowly came off his skull and he sat down again, moving his paw back in front of him. Still, he kept his duel-colored eyes locked on Alpha Hime - he wasn't a big fan of her attitude, nor the way she treated the other Alphas. She acted so supirior to Alpha Epoch and Alpha Ava, but in reality, there was no difference in their rank. Both packs were facing an obvious problem - humans were invading their land, taking their homes, and, judging by the small amount of people in each pack, both the Willow and Moon pack were struggling to keep the pack numbers high - neither pack was better off than the other. Fang felt like Alpha Hime needed a reality check, but he knew full well that he was in no position to voice such a thing, or even think it for that matter. Still, he continued staring down Alpha Hime, his look cold and unforgiving.
Blaze;No Rank;No Pack
Blaze looked around at the woods surrounding him - everything was so calm and peaceful - it looked like they had the entire place to themselves! Blaze was in human form, as was Timothy, who was running around in a small clearing in the woods. It was entertaining to watch his brother enjoy himself in such enviornments.
Let's hope the humans don't take this place, Blaze thought as he sat down. Timothy then shifted into a wolf - for such a small kid, Timothy dealt with the pain of shifting extremely well.
The young pup shook off the human clothing and bounded over to Blaze, obviously wanting to play. Blaze groaned tiredly, yet there was a tone of amusement in his groan. "Timothy - not right now. We just got here - can't we rest?"
Obviously, the answer was no, as Timothy grabbed the leg of Blaze's pants and began to tug roughly on them repeatedly. After about a minute of Timothy playing tug-o-war with Blaze's pants leg, the older wolf gave in to the pup's playful mood and said, "Fine, fine, you win - jeez, you don't know when to give up, do you?"
Blaze shifted into his wolf form, his clothes falling off his canine body with ease. He looked at the young pup, who tackled Blaze playfully. He nipped at the pup gently, and the two played for several minutes before Timothy stopped playing and sniffed the air.
"What's up, Timmy?" Blaze asked, panting slightly.
Without a word, the pup ran off, leaving Blaze sitting there cluelessly. He jumped to his feet quickly though and chased after the reckless pup. That's when he picked up the scent - Timothy was heading straight towards an open field filled with wolves and humans.
Timothy;No Rank;No Pack
Timothy picked up the scent of many different people all of a sudden - wolves! He stopped wrestling with his brother and took off in the direction of the scent, wanting to find the other wolves! Maybe there were other pups his age! Filled with a new found excitement and curiousity, Timothy raced even faster in the direction of the scent. Within moments he saw a beautiful meadow, and in the middle there were wolves! Yes, he had found them!
Timothy was running extremely fast, and he looked over his shoulder and yelled back to Blaze, "Hurry, Blaze! There are so many wolves up ahead!"
The young pup ran out from behind the trees into the open field. He inhaled deeply - he could smell mist, pine, Willow Trees, and sawdust all mixed together, tainting the smell of the wolves. The scent was very appealing to the pup, and Timothy paused momentarily to enjoy the smell. As he enjoyed himself, Blaze came running towards him and skidded to a halt at the tree line, as if he was afraid to step into the field.
"Timmy! Get back here!" Blaze hissed quietly.
"You'll have to catch me first, Big Brother!" Timothy called to his brother before taking off towards the wolves in the center of the field, laughing childishly - he had an even greater desire to meet the wolves now - he couldn't see any pups, but maybe he wasn't close enough to see them.
Timothy kept running until skidding to a halt by a small cluster of wolves in the very middle. He was about to speak when he felt the tension between them. Instead, Timothy sat there, his head tilted to the side as he tried to figure out what was wrong.
As Timothy sat there, Blaze could been seen coming up behind him - he wanted to get Timothy and go - but what if the other wolves thought Blaze was trying to attack the Alphas of the different packs? Blaze only assumed they were different packs, due to the fact that there were many different scents mingling in the air. He had a sinking feeling that they were intruding in someone's territory.
