Awe that is really great
Awe that is really great
FRIEND : Oh man the sound of a shotgun cocking back is such an intimidating sound. Much more than your little snipers.
ME : Yeah but if a sniper needs to cock back their weapon, someones already dead. You don't need to intimidate dead people.
Your Argument Is VOID.
Name: Josh Moore
Weapons: Assault Rifle, UNSC Pistol, Knife, 4 Frag Grenades
Specialty: Guerrilla Warfare
Bio: Josh was part of a group who fought against the Covenant, yet didn't leave the planet like UNSC. He was taught since a young age to use anything and everything he could to kill anything that stood on to legs and wasn't human. The group was eventually slaughtered when he was 19, forcing him to seek refuge. The only place he could find was with UNSC. He was trained and moved up in the ranks quickly due to his creative yet effective strategies.
He decided to go on the ship, interested to see how the battles worked in space.
Other: He keeps an elite's helmet on his shoulder and knows his way around Covenant weaponry.
Name: Dr. Harriet Gillian McCreary
Dr. McCreary stands just shy of five and a half feet tall with fair, alabaster skin and hair that was once blonde but is rapidly fading into a chilled ivory. When not in her UNSC sanctioned uniform she usually dresses in a comfortable but semi-formal fashion, favoring slightly masculine cuts.
Harriet has been issued an M7S Caseless Submachine Gun. She has purchased a suppressor and low-profile holographic sight for the weapon, the former to help with her aim and the latter to preserve her own hearing. The weapon, along with two additional magazines beyond the one loaded into the weapon, is kept within a nylon mesh holster on her thigh.
Dr. McCreary also has access to a Type-51 Carbine of Covenant origin with five additional ammunition cylinders. A blessing of her position.
Bio: On earth Dr. McCreary had a very respected reputation. An accredited and published zoologist as well as a talented material scientist and physicist she was highly praised in a number of fields. When the UNSC extended a job offer to her to continue her work in the void of space she accepted, choosing to avoid the mediocrity of continuing her tenure and opting instead to break new ground observing alien worlds and species.
And then the Covenant happened.
McCreary does not hate the Covenant, quite the opposite. She finds them to be an extremely interesting and diverse group of species. With her knowledge of biology as well as chemistry and physics she quickly found a role not as a teacher or observer but as an analyst, identifying the ideal ways to defeat the aliens when peace broke down as well as constructing reports concerning their weaponry and technology. Her most recent project involved analyzing and documenting the capabilities of the "Covenant Carbine" of which her scientific team had access to half a dozen of.
Most of Dr. McCreary's findings were submitted to ONI and then disseminated as the need arouse. ONI was also her governing body when it came to acquisition and deployment of seized covenant equipment. Although if she were to separated from the ship or caught up in the thick of battle she would have to default to her own judgement, discretion, and wisdom.
Other: While she has passed the marksmanship requirements and proficiencies for her issued weapon, the M7, and also possesses a working knowledge of most covenant weaponry she has never been on the front lines of an armed conflict. In most situations she has direct orders to avoid conflict zones unless accompanied by a heavily armed security detail. So while she has dissected corpses and observed from afar she has never had to fire her weapon in violence or defend herself.
Oooo that's neat. Welcome
Name: Remington Walters “Remy”
Appearance: Stands 5'11" and weighs around 175lbs. Is well built and mostly clean cut.
Weapons: Battle Rifle and UNSC Pistol
Specialty: Tactical warfare and aviation master.
Bio: This war has been hell. Since 18, Remy has constantly tried to better himself in every way to fight the Covenant. While in boot camp, he was pushed extremely hard by his drill sgt compared to some of the other soldiers. The drill sgt. seemed to like him pretty well. Every day the drill sgt. was in his face screaming at him to move it harder than anyone else. So this was one of Remy’s many inspiring moments in his UNSC career because they asked Remy about the ODST program. Remy of course joined. While Remy was getting his body pushed beyond comparison in the ODST training, he was also getting slammed with tons of knowledge when it came to learning about the enemy, vehicles, and even learning Covenant technology. It did not matter to him how much he need to learn, he ended up passing top in his classes in everything he was taught. After 3 years of intensive training, he finally got to join his first ODST battalions.
Things were going smoothly for the first year in his battalion. After that year though everything changed. His battalion was sent on a simple recon mission to find out where Covenant weapons were being stashed on one of the planets they inhabited. They found more than just weapons, they found a bomb, rigged to explode upon entry. Thankfully Remy was one of the post guards in his mission along with 2 other ODSTs… the problem is, they lost their leading commander. After that, the mission went down hill. The only survivor of that mission was Remy himself, and that was due to the valiant sacrifice from one of his members so Remy could escape on a crashed pelican. After that mission, Remy was finally battle hardened.
Remy joined many battalions and had many successful missions as a soldier. The decided to take Remy into the ODST Sgt. training program after 2 years after that fateful accident. He was skeptical at first, he had to have the responsibility of leading others into battle. That accident changed his life. He told the commanding officers he would think about it. A few weeks later after the battle, he had a talk with a another high ranking officer. He was and elder man, in his mid 50s, and had plenty of war experience. He had a talk with Remy with the commanding officer stating “Folks need heroes kid. The past is the past. There is nothing you can do to change it, but how can you change your future?” After talking with that commanding officer, he finally accepted the Sgt. training. It was rigorous and tough, but he made it through after another year.
4 years after his promotion to Sgt. did Remy lead successful missions. He gave the Covenant no less than hell when it came to pushing offensive operations and recon missions. Using brilliant tactics, the Covenant usually don’t know what hit them until it’s too late. Since Remy’s missions were very successful, they asked him for yet one more promotion. They wanted him to lead a higher ranked team known as Mammoth squad. The group had not been formed yet, but they were searching for elite ODST members to fit the cause. It would take a while to form, but would not only promote Remy’s reputation as a brilliant Sgt. but also will give him the ability to finally be a true part of something big. He would be able to take on extra difficult missions that none of the ordinary ODSTs could handle. Remy stood before the commander and answered with “Tell me where you need me Sir. I’ll be more than willing to show those Covenant bastards something they’ll never even expect.” The commanders grinned and took him through a little more training. Now finally on The Prevalent Colossus, he has yet to fully meet his group due to the other tasks he had to complete. It is about time to meet his group and finally set out to actually put a dent in the Covenant armada.
