Name: Samuel Lawrence

Age: 24

Description: Dirty blond hair that goes to his shoulders, but he almost always has it pulled back into a horsetail. He has a pleasant face that is only marred by a small burn scar under his right eye that is almost shaped like a teardrop. His skin is rather pale and he tends to burn easily in the sun, and his nose is speckled with a light dusting of freckles. He has big brown eyes that are framed with thick lashes that make him look much younger than he is. He likes to keep clean shaven because he doesn’t grow a beard very well, and when it does come in it is rather sparse and patchy. He stands about 5’9” and he looks skinny despite his broad shoulders and muscular arms from his years working in the forge. He has big hands that are rough with callouses and burns.

Position on crew/profession: Passenger/ Blacksmith

Weapons: Mostly just his blacksmithing tools which can be used as weapons in great need, though he does keep a short knife in his belt.

Personality: The best word to describe him is reserved. People tend to think him shy or dumb because he doesn’t like to speak much, but that is mostly just because he generally just doesn’t have anything to say. He taught himself to read and write, and he will speak if he must. But he prefers to listen and observe those around him, and if you’re lucky, or especially witty you’ll catch him smiling or laughing. He gets incredibly nervous around ladies, and probably wouldn’t be able to utter a single word around a pretty one even if he wanted to. He hates bullies, and he isn’t afraid to defend those who can’t defend themselves, though he won’t start violence just for the sake of violence.

Bio: All that is known is that he served as an apprentice for most of his life, and as soon as he could, he bartered for passage aboard the Flourish, the first ship he came to, presumably to get as far away as he could.

Name: Silas Nathaniel Boniface

Age: 18

Description: Silas is a tall, slim youth, looking deceptively frail, with dirty, straw-colored hair tied back in a quiff, as the fashion of the time demands. He has deep green eyes, a quick way of moving, and tends to gabble at times. He has a long scar, running from just above his left eye down to his shoulder, result of a tavern brawl.

Nationality: A Channel Islander, born on the island of Sark, to an English father, and a mother who was a mix of Scottish, German, Dutch and Welsh.

Position on crew/profession: Cabin boy

Weapons: A pair of high quality pistols, a sword (not a cutlass), and a very sharp skinning-knife. All stolen. Most importantly - a quill.

Personality: Quick witted, scathing and cynical beyond his years, capable of very high-flown phraseology when in the mood. Can knock off a quatrain or a sonnet at the drop of a hat, but equally at home in rather lewd doggerel that can make even a hardened sailor blush. Or, a blushing sailor hard, as the case may be.

Bio: Silas always wanted to be a poet and playwright, like his idols Mr Shakespeare, Mr Marlowe and Mr Lovelace. He had made some inroads upon this, having two plays performed at the "Globe" theater in London, and has sold a few volumes of verse. Unfortunately, he is as ready with a certain other rigid accessory as he is with a quill, and has left quite a few bastard children and angry husbands in his wake. When things got too hot in London, after an unfortunate night with the Duchess of Epsom, and her aged but choleric father began chasing Silas with threats of a blunderbuss wedding, Silas suddenly developed a previously unrevealed hankering for a life on the ocean wave, and talked his way onto the first ship ready to catch the tide - which happened to be the "Flourish". Silas has heard from coffee-house gossip that the newly formed Caribbean colony of Bimini might have openings for a poet laureate. He tends to have grandiose ideas like that!

Personality + BIO : Stern man with a very unsatisfied aura about him is the owner of a very powerful company that has expended roots and far and unheard of lands. No matter how much money he has, it always seems like it's not enough, and because of his unsatisfied nature he has a severe drinking problems which only adds to his wonderful personality.

Sarcastic and not very friendly, he made his name known far and wide.
Has made his way to the ship for a Business trip.

Position on crew/profession: House-keeping servant.

Personality: Very strict, and somewhat hard to approach. She is the type to easily get upset. Fiery and not easy to trust. She likes to speak up her mind, no matter how bad her words are.

Bio: Not much is known about her aside of the fact that her family sold her into the position she is right now 4 years ago to serve the kind gentleman that reach their lands to support them with goods and other items. To them it was a worthy deal of marriage, only that our kind man, Nigel, never viewed her as a wife. (More like a pet if anything).

Maybe because of traditions or for the fact she had no one to turn for once they returned to his homeland, whatever it was, she ended up becoming VERY obedient, accepting his behavior towered her.

She remained bitter however.

Since she is one of Nigel's personal (and most treasured objects) she is to follow him closely, even for this trip.
