[M] The Debt of a Father (dark_rain & Lissa 1x1)
Deanna sat quietly by the window watching as the plan started it descent in to the Paris airport. This wasn’t her first time in the romantic city, but it was her first time riding in first class in a rather small dress and a pair of pumps. Her long hair was let down and sat neatly making her blue eyes stand out against it. The pilot came over the loud speaker announcing their arrival. She could feel her stomach starting to flop as she stood up gathering her small hand bag. Deanna was used to being on the felid or behind a computer, but never in a position that required her to be all dolled up in expensive clothing trying to act like one of those crazed stars you here about on the television.
She walked slowly off the plan and over to a man that was standing in a dark tux holding a sign that had her last name on it. Deanna smiled and greeted the man in French before following him out toward the rather large town car. Once in the car the man smiled handing her a large file “Deanna, these are the known locations of the hangout he has been known to visit,” the man said looking at her in the rearview mirror, “ As far as we can tell he travels without any security so getting close to him shouldn’t be that hard.” Deanna just nodded going over the file as the driver spoke. Night clubs, five star restaurants, pint house suites they all littered the folder making Deanna even more nervous she had never been the type of girl that fit into those kind of places, but she took a deep breath and placed the folder in her bag in time to see a huge hotel come into view.
“In the folder there is a card and thanks to Uncle Sam you want be wanting for anything, the card as a bottomless account, they really want this one,” the man said as he pulled up and gave her a smile before saying good bye to her in French. She smiled and stepped out of the car and watched as a young bell hop started to unload her luggage. She thanked him and then made her way into the lavish hotel trying not to act mesmerized by it beauty. The young woman behind the desk greeted her asking her name and Deanna gave it to her and in return was handed a set of keys, and give directions to her new home for the next couple of months. She followed the bell hop toward the room, and tried to hold in the gasp when she opens the door to the posh suite. The gentleman sat down her bags before departing and Deanna made her way over to the large window to look out at the Pairs sky line “A girl could get use to this,” she said with a smile.

Aiden, dressed in a tan, tailor made suit, sat comfortably at his favorite restaurant. The Restaurant Le Dali. As always, he was surrounded with the beautiful people of Paris but none were actually with him. He sat alone and enjoyed a fine, expensive wine. He was focused heavily into a finance magazine while he ate.
His life hadn't always been so lush. Once upon a time, he was just a silly American boy. Now, he was mostly untouchable. Finances to him was equivalent to sand on a beach. An endless supply of funds that never seemed to dry up. With a small sigh, he set down his magazine before his waiter arrived with his main course. "Merci beaucoup, monsieur" He said with a thick Irish accent and a charming grin.
When the waiter walked away, Aiden began to eat his expensively delicious meal. His mind processing the article he had just read and his plans for the day. Although his night life was pretty hectic, his days were usually spent relaxing in his penthouse. When his meal was done, he handed the waiter the money for the bill and a generous tip.
Standing up, he fixed his suit before sauntering to exit the restaurant. His next stop was the tailor for a new outfit for the night's festivities. Aiden walked the block that it took to get there and walked in with a smile. "Bonjour!" He said loudly to get the tailor's attention.

She had done finished unpacking her bags when she looked over at the clock and saw it was starting to get a little late, actually she didn’t need the clock her body was starting to feel the effects of a sleepless night going over countless files and procedures. She lets out a small yawn then makes her way over to the bag which held the folder with his daily activities. She looked over them and noticed that they all were walking distance from one another and realized that if she was lucky she might be able to run into him on the streets instead of some upscale place.
She picked up a small magazine and read the front cover and gave a soft smile. It was fashion week in Paris and she knew exactly where she would find him. With that she placed the folder in the hotel safe along with her badge and weapon, before she made her way out toward the tailor he was known to visit, but on her way there a wonderful aroma caught her nose and she couldn’t help but give into it. She walked into the small coffee shop and orders a large ice mocha latte. The woman at the counter smiled and handed her the drink, and with a since of pride Deanna handed over the card letting the girl scan it not even worried about the price.
The card was handed back and she gave a soft smile before exiting the shop making her way down the street. It was a beatufl day and the streets were lined with gorgeous men and woman in there finniest clothing, oh yes if she was going to find him anywhere it would be at his tailor. She thought to herself as she made her way toward the lavish shop.

The tailor looked out from his back office to see his favorite customer. "Bonjour, Monsieur Lark!" He said enthusiastically before standing up. "Qu'est-ce qui vous amène aujourd'hui?" The tailor knew well what brought Aiden in but it didn't hurt to show curiosity to the man that paid him better than anyone else.
"Ye know well, dear lad. I need yer talents once again fer Fashion week." Aiden responded in English. His thick accent seeping into every word.
The guy smiled and nodded. "Oui, monsieur!" The man said in a jovial tone before beginning to work on the suit. There was no need to measure anymore as Aiden was here often.
After an hour, he was handed his brand new suit which Aiden paid for in cash. The suit was wrapped in plastic to stop it from getting dirty before he wore it later on. "Merci." He said with a kind smile to the tailor. He then stepped back out into the day.
Next on his list was his penthouse. He had to start getting ready for the night's festivities.

Deanna felt the shop but her mind was racing as she walked toward the shop. She wasn’t the type of girl that took to flirting; actually she thought she was rather bad at it. How was she going to introduce herself to someone of his class and she was positive he would be very cautious due to the fact of his father’s business. She let out a huff as she stopped at a cross walk the tailor shop was right around the corner, but when she looked down at her watch she noticed she had wasted almost an hour. “Shit,” she said as low as possible and as soon as the lights change she hurried her way toward the shop which was easier said than done in her wardrobe.
Deanna was in a mad rush when she turned the corner, so it didn’t surprise her when she ended up smack on her ass covered in her coffee. “Damn it,” she winced raising up her hand noticing the cut on her arm from the corner of the stone wall, but she was more worried about the gentleman that was standing in front of her. “Je suis tellement désolé, monsieur i était dans la précipitation et je m'excuse,” *I'm so sorry, sir i was in a rush and I apologize* she started but when she looked up and saw the one man she was hoping to make an impression in front of she couldn’t stop the blush that tinted her cheeks, and it took her shaking her head to snap her out of her daze. “Oh mon Dieu, je suis désolé j'étais dans une ruée vers ... J'espère que je n'ai pas endommager quoi que ce soit,” *Oh my God, I'm sorry I was in a rush ... I hope I did not damage anything* she said as she pulled herself up with a stumble.

Aiden carried his plastic covered suit out of the store and began to walk to his penthouse. A quiet whistle leaving his pursed lips in between sending dashing smiles to women that passed. He was quite the ladies man without even trying. It could be the fact that he was good looking or the fact that he was obvious well off. Either way, he had become picky on the girls he liked.
Lost in his thoughts and plans for the evening, he was completely caught off guard as a woman charged right into him. He let out a grunt of surprise as coffee spilled over his tan suit. "Oy!" The nineteen year old exclaimed until he heard her speak in English first. Her words were quick but he could tell immediately that she was an American.
Then, she began to speak in French thinking he was a native. It wasn't until she looked up at him that she blushed. Her second apology seeming more of embarrassment than of making amends. "Settle, Lass." Aiden said while offering his hand to assist her up.
"It's only clothes." He said with a charming smile as he tried to wipe off the coffee from his suit. There was no doubt in his mind that the woman was attractive. Aiden quickly took note of her attire and would normally place her as one of his own. Although, she looked uncomfortable. Perhaps she was just around for fashion week.
"I live a block away.. Why don't ye follow me and we'll get ye cleaned up, eh?" He offered as he motioned with his hands towards the high class apartment building. A bellhop standing outside of the door along with two security guards.
She smiled and took his hand which helped her keep her balance, but she quickly pulled away from it when she realized she was still holding it after she was stable. He was quite charming for a rich kid with more money than she could ever imagine, and she found herself actually standing there like a dear in headlights. That’s when she realized he was speaking to her in English; she shook her head again trying to hide the relief that plagued. “Yes, that might be…but they look like they cost a lot of money,” she said in a soft voice as she tried to make herself presentable.
She looked up in time to see him eyeing her, before he asked her if she would like to join him back at his hotel. Not sure what to say she gave him a coy smile shaking her head “ that would be lovely…I’m so lost here…I mean I speak French, but there not to friendly sometimes, and I came here for fashion week, but yet I haven’t been able to find my way around and fear I have missed a bunch of it,” she said trying to keep her face with worry which wasn’t too hard since the fact she had latterly ran straight into the one person she was supposed to keep a low profile in front of.
That’s when she noticed the huge apartment building that would easy make her place look like it was deep in the worse part of the city, and with the security that was waiting out next to the doors she knew for a fact that you had to either be special to get in, or her knew friend was not as crazy as he seemed and had security following him. No matter the reason she didn’t like the looks of it, if something was to go wrong she would be stuck in there no way out. However she played it off by gesturing with her hand for him to lead the way. She stayed quite for a little, when she realized her mind was supposed to be on him. “Dear lord,” said with a smile “With all the craziness I have totally forgot my manors she said with turning to look at him “my name is Deanna, but if you like you could call me the crazy coffee lady.”

Aiden kept hold of her hand until she was situated. His smile remained on his lips as he nodded. "Money is like water. There is always a supply somewhere." The handsome Irishman said.
The man let out a little laugh. "It's only because yer American. They're known to be rude to the French when they travel." He explained "I will be attending some of the Fashion Week things this evening. Would you like to be my date?" Aiden was unsure of the offer but the nice guy inside him couldn't handle it if the poor girl missed out on all the fun.
Seeing her motion to lead the way, he nodded, "As ye wish, Lass." He said in a charming tone while beginning to walk. His posture was both laxed and confident. Aiden was nothing like most people his age. He knew he was financially above the rest and still he had a humbling air about him.
As they reached the doors, Aiden bowed his head slightly to the guards who allowed him and his guest entrance into the fancy Paris structure. They crossed through the lobby and into the lifts. Motioning with his hand, he allowed the beautiful woman to enter the lift first. The charming man then put his thumb up to the scanner and within a few seconds, the lift began its way to his penthouse.
Before the doors opened, she finally spoke again. Her introduction was cute and it made his smile grow to a warmer one. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Deanna. I am Aiden. You can call me 'that stupid rich kid'." He said with a playful wink.
Upon the doors opening, they were greeted with his modern style home. Before them was the living room that had an open layout to the kitchen on the right and the dining room. To the left was a wide hallway that lead to his master bedroom and bathroom. There was also a door for a billiards room with a small bar.
"Welcome to me home, Lass. The bathroom is down the hall and on your right. I can take you to the store to get you a new dress too, if you'd like." He gave her a small smile before moving to his bedroom and shutting the door behind him. Looking at himself in the mirror, he made a face at the destroyed tan suit that he was wearing. "Bloody hell.."

Deanna gave a little giggle when he told her she could call him the stupid rich kid “Yes, well maybe later… right now I like the ring of Aiden, she said with a playful smile, but it disappeared when he opened the door to his home and welcomed her in. She done her best to act like a class young lady not shocked and awed by the scenery of the beautiful pent house, but she had a feeling her eyes where giving her away when she marveled at every inch. “ uh..oh,” she said looking toward him with a smile when she realized he had been talking “ There is no need in doing that… if anything I should be buying or having yours clean,” she shouted toward the closed door before making her way down to the bathroom, which was just as wonderful as ever. “Holy crap,” she mumbled to herself and found herself afraid to touch anything.
She looked down at the cream colored dress that now had a huge brown stain on the side; she lets out a huff and wets a small towel that was hanging up on a towel rack and starts working at the mark. “Why in the world women put there self through this I will never know,” she said with a sigh when she noticed it wasn’t getting any better. She leaned in over the sink and took a deep breath trying to remember anything and everything about the pent house just in case, but she couldn't fight the trapped feeling she got knowing only a thumb print would get her out and in. she looked up at herself in the mirror and practiced her very fake smile, but something told her she wasn’t going have to fake much. She had been expecting a snob, hell a guy that would tried to have her in his bed by now, but to her surprise he was the perfect gentleman.
She gave one last sigh before walking out of the bathroom, with a sad look. The dress was in bad shape and that meant she would actually have to go and buy one. The dress she had on was picked out for her just like the others that were back at her place; Deanna was defiantly not the dress type and didn’t quite get the concept of being so uncomfortable to be someone’s eye candy. That’s why when she was told about this mission she was about ready to take off running and hide out, but like they said she was the only one that could get in and get the stuff. As she was walking back to the living room she noticed a door that was cracked, she looked around for him dipping inside when she saw he was nowhere to be found. She flipped on the switch and took in the grand billiards room with a small bar. She couldn’t help the huge smile that graced her lips as she admired the elegant table, now this is where she would spend her time she thought to herself as she ran her hand over the wood.

Aiden watched her reaction to his home and couldn't help but snicker internally. It was further proof as to why she seemed so uncomfortable in her clothing. More than likely, the woman had come to Paris as a get away and decided to live life on the expensive side for a while. She was probably just some country girl and it made her that much more adorable in his eyes.
After making his way into his room, he heard the woman call after him and he let out a little chuckle. Surely she could entertain herself long enough for him to get a good shower in and get dressed. He was running short on time for his plans. After about a half hour, he was dressed in his knew black suit with a royal blue button down underneath. He checked himself in the mirror to make sure everything was as it should be.
When done, he stepped out of his bedroom to see the billiards room door open. "I see ye found me second favorite place." He mused as he watched her gently run her hand over the wood of his table. "That table was given to me by me da." He said with a smile. The realization that his father was still missing making the man's smile fade slightly.
"Can I get ye something ta drink, Deanna?" He asked politely in his thick accent while making his way over to his bar. His chocolate brown eyes looking at her with innocent curiosity. There was something about her that intrigued him. Still, she was a stranger and caution had saved his life so far.
