Deanna crossed her arms giving him a pointed look, but anyone could see she wasn’t mad, as he opened the door “Hey watch it buddy… or next time it might fall into your lap,” she said as she got in fasten her seat belt. When her eyes finally looked back up he was staring at her closely. She could see the worry and sadness in his eyes as he told her he didn’t want to be out in the public to long afraid they’ll be spotted. She reached over placing her hand on his giving him a soft smile “Aiden, clam down…we don’t have to get any coffee,” with that she pulled away from him and watched as he started the car. “The Champs Elysees Plaza it on 35 rue de Berri 75008 Paris-France,” she said as she leaned against the back of the seat.
She watched as the cars went past making sure none fit the description of the black vane that had been on their case last night, but so far everything was going smooth. The car was an eerie quite those and Deanna wondered if it had anything to do with the craziness that had happen between them. They had been flirting since they woke up, but to deny that the tension between them was now so thick it could be cut with a knife. She was just about to speech when the hotel came into view. She leaned over Aiden and pointed toward the elegant stone building.
But as they got closer she noticed something, the same car that had been planted with her department was sitting outside. Suddenly she was starting to regret bring Aiden with her. She had been told that the place was a safe house and people would keep an eye out for her, but somewhere between spill coffee on the target then screwing him she had totally forgot. She should of known they would be there after she sent the information. As the car pulled up to the front of the building and Aiden stopped she turned toward him placing her hand on his knee “Stay here… I will run in really quick check out get my thing….I don’t want you out in the public… there after you,” before he had time to disagree she was head into the building.
As soon as Deanna walked into the lobby the woman at the front desk motioned for her to come over. “Excuse Me Miss, mais un homme du nom de Matt Welch a dit qu'il était besoin de parler avec vous ... il avait un badge .. Il est en attente dans votre chambre.” *Excuse me miss, but a gentleman named Matt Welch said he was needing to speak with you... he had a badge.. He is waiting in your room.* the woman said with a worried look. Deanna smiled thankful she had told Aiden to stay in the car. “je vous remercie ... et pas de soucis, il est juste un ami,”* thank you, don’t worry he is just a friend*, she said giving the girl a smile before heading up to her room. Once the lift dung she could see her door ajar. She reached behind her back pulling out her gun as she took her foot pushing it open.
