Spoiler: ѕтσяу– King Luther Theodore –
King Luther was a very insane man. He overly paranoid and believing that people was planning to destroy his family and kingdom. The man would be caught talking, yelling, at no one - he was always alone. The king was always claiming that spirits were talking to him. These spirits would tell him that his destiny was to replace the gods. Insanity drove him to murder and, eventually, to his grave. One day, believing that he could fly Luther leaped from the bell tower and plumage downwards, instantaneously dying. His ancestors continued Luther’s plans of a Ja’qion-free world for many years until Frederick was overthrown and family exiled
– Queen Julia Theodore –
She hated everyone, even her husband. She married him for his riches and power; truly the brains behind everything he wanted done. The queen knew what she was doing to the Ja’qion was wrong, however, just as sick as her husband, she found the Ja’qion’s annihilation entertaining. However, karma later destroyed this selfish, evil queen. Julia was an obese glutton; always stuffing her face with food. One night, after eating a whole, greasy chicken with breaded stuffing, she felt pains in her chest and collapsed from her seat. And believe this; burying this woman took nearly twenty men.
– The Story –
Under the corrupt leadership of King Luther the Fourth and Queen Julia Theodore, the unwise couple destroyed many of the neighboring kingdoms and villages. As their land expanded, so did their power and influence over the country's people. After a few years had gone to pass, Luther suddenly became ill. The king blamed his own servant, a person of Ja’qionian heritage, because he was only person closest to the king. The same day of the accusation, the Ja’qion servant was gruesomely beheaded without fair trial. Over time the king's sickness worsened and his fury towards anyone relating to or affiliated with the Ja’qions amplified each passing day.
His inequitable treatment of these people was trivial. The king excluded the Ja’qions from certain areas of his kingdom, raised their cost of living, and exiled many he thought to be of Ja'qion heritage. Some Ja’qions where kidnapped from their homes and forced stay at camps located in Narratia. At these camps, they were overworked and underfed. Resources were purposely withheld from the camps. Infections, alongside other dreadful illnesses, soon stretched amongst the confined Ja’qions. Many of the Ja’qions began to perish. In other to prevent disease from spreading outside of Narratia, their bodies were burned. Any Ja’qions who attempted or thought of escaping were immediately executed without second thought.
Sadly, his torture of the Ja’qion worsened when his Queen died from a serve stroke. After she was laid to rest, King Luther almost immediately had every residence that he suspected belonged a Ja’qion invaded by his powerful and seemingly unstoppable army. Most were arrested and executed on sight. The reminder of the captured Ja’qion was kept alive and shipped into other kingdoms to serve as slaves. This terrible maltreatment of the Ja’qions continued for many centuries. The Ja’qion were nearly nonexistent.
However, during Lorilqua’s Age of Enlightenment, there was much disagreement against the current king’s laws. Many began to realize that all humans are equal and, therefore, deserving of equal liberties and treatment before the law. Thus the common people could no longer tolerate the unreasonable and sadistic treatment of the Ja’qion to continue.
There were many great wars; countless battles lost and won. Yet, in the end, after several years of fighting - common people against the mighty king - the ancestor of Luther, Frederick, was overthrown. Frederick and his family was mercifully spared then exiled from Lorilqua. The new law abolished slavery, protecting any and all ethnic groups. The remaining Ja’qions were given new homes, currency, and many other essentials needed to start anew. It was in the hopes of many people that they could restore their heritage in the best way possible.
– The Story Thus Far –
The Kingdom Naldraenth has a new, fair King and Queen, Leister and Jade Quintanilla. Naldraenth, currently on its second golden age, established a system of checks and balances. Hopefully, something like the Ja'qions' near genocide crisis would never occur again. Thanks to the many great battles fought and won, better laws were passed and technologies became more advanced. Such laws and social changes are also practiced in other surrounding kingdoms. This proves that Kingdom Naldraenth still retains strong influential power amongst the other, smaller kingdoms. Now welcome, stranger, to Naldraenth.

Spoiler: яυℓєѕ1. This is a free form role-play where strong, mature character relationships are sure to happen. Since it's free form, this world is what the players can make of it. Certain changes can be made or modified upon request and/or reason.
2. No god-moding (power playing). You're not all powerful.
3. Three characters per player limit.
4. Please, try and have your character interact with more than one other person.
5. The minimum posting requirement is five full sentences [one paragraph]. She looked up. "That's neat." She said. She then walked away. Still smiling, Does NOT count.
6. You may put a picture or banner of your character (anime only) in your posts. Use spell check and look over your post before submitting it. Some typos are fine, but when people can't understand what you are saying, then we've got a problem. No "text speak" either! Example: "Plz dnt tlk lyk dis." Use quotation marks if your character is talking and do NOT use (*) for actions.
7. When submitting your profile, just post it here.
8. If you want to be the owner of a store, just tell me. Provide me the name of your store and it'll be set. Please try to be age sensitive job wise. No doctor of any kind should be 17 years old and if your character looks like (s)he's 7-12, don't say they're 22 years old. It's ridiculous!
9. To keep the role play moving, I will occasionally submit a time progression post. Morning to afternoon, afternoon to evening, evening to night (Nights will be relatively short). This is NOT a time skip, but do make sure your character responds appropriately. When I do make a time skip, you are expected to make sure your next post responds accordingly.
10. Also, put down all important information in your profile. Don't leave out important info for the sake of "suspense", either. If you find out something new about your own character, add it to your profile - but don't completely reconstruct your character.
11. Keep OOC (out of character) to a minimum in the IC thread. There's an OOC thread for a reason.
12. Please use a little of your creative juices and make your characters somewhat interesting. Having too many characters with the same personalities can get boring quickly.
13. When you make a post, just go out and find other people.
14. If you are going to quit please let me know so I may remove your characters from the job list. Your profile will remain listed in case you decide to come back.
15. Please post at least twice a week to keep things going. If you do not - on top of not letting myself know that you are on vacation or something - then your inactive character(s) will be removed from play.
16. Pregnancy: Alright, if your character(s) is pregnant, then she must wait two full seasons before giving birth. If the character is unsure about their pregnancy, then flip a coin. Head = Yes. Tails = No. If your character is pregnant, however doesn't want the child, she has two options:
* Abortion.
* Have and surrender the baby to the church or orphanage.
17. This RP is very freelance. Almost anything goes. However, zombies, werewolves, vampires, angels, demons and etc, are not allowed. Anything that isn't fully human, is not allowed. Period. However, anything else supernatural like spirits and ghost are allowed.
19. Characters must be the age of 23 and higher to work certain emergency jobs. For example: Police Officer, Fireman, Ranger, Doctor, Surgeon etc.
20. Characters must be the age of 25 and higher to own businesses or work certain government jobs.
21. Your character can have multiple jobs if working part-time. Part-timers may have the maximum of three jobs. Some characters could be(come) jobless depending on the circumstances.
22. I reserve the right to modify and/or add new rules accordingly.
Spoiler: тнє тιcкιηg cℓσcкThe Setting of Lorilqua:
It's 1865 in Lorilqua, Steampunk Victorian Era.
In general, the category includes any recent science fiction that takes place in a recognizable historical period, an alternate history version of an actual historical period, where the Industrial Revolution has already begun and electricity is not (completely) widespread, with an emphasis on steam or spring propelled gadgets.
Various modern utilitarian objects have been molded by enthusiasts into a Pseudo-Victorian mechanical "steampunk" style. For example: these objects include computer keyboards and electric guitars. The goal of such redesigns is to employ appropriate materials (such as polished brass, iron, and wood) with design elements and craftsmanship consistent with the Victorian Era.
The Calender: The day, time, season and weather is indicated when "colored".

Every TWO TO THREE DAYS, real time, I will post a Time Transgression Post. Time Transgression Posts ARE NOT Time Skip Posts. During a Time Skip Post I will skip a giant gap of time. For example: From morning we might time skip to the evening or nightfall of that same or next day. Understand? Time Transgression Posts are gradual occurrences. Your character does not have to stop whatever they're doing. They simply must take notice of the passing time (assuming if they're working or attending school). I hope I was clear on this.

About Journals:
Having a journal is optional. However it's fun. Post your character's journal within the OOC thread. It will be listed next to you're character's profile under, “The Accepted”. Journals show how well you know the other characters who live in the kingdom. If you don't know anybody yet, go and meet some people! Note: You don't have to do actual journal entries. Just list the characters' names your character(s) may know and your relationship with the character(s). All entries are kept within one post!
Here's the basic Journal Setup:

Spoiler: тнє ηρcѕ σƒ ℓσяιℓqυαNone Yet.
Spoiler: тнє ρєσρℓє σƒ ℓσяιℓqυαThe Common People of Lorilqua:
Ja’qion:
They’re rather small in stature, but muscular and agile. Both sexes have reddish-brown skin, high cheekbones, straight broad noses, slanting eyes and large mouths with a gentle expression. Their hair is usually straight and black, but in some individuals it is brownish and in others it is wavy. The females tend to corpulent and age rapidly; they are prolific, but the infant mortality is very great. They tend to have brown, hazel and green eyes. Their reddish-brown skin rarely sunburns and is sometimes prone to tanning. Like Dan’Yervens, the Ja’qion males build muscle and strength rather quickly. They usually have issues with their backs, pregnancy, stomach and throat.
Chryntine:
The northern Chryntines of Lorilqua are taller and bigger compared to the southern Chryntine. Northern Chryntines have small, slit-like, and/or slant eyes with single eyelids (i.e. an epicanthic fold). They also have longer, rugged faces (possibly with considerably more facial hair than Southern Chryntines). Northern Chryntines tend to eat wheat-based foods rather than rice-based foods. Southern Chryntines are shorter and smaller compared to Northern Chryntines. Southern Chryntines tend to have smooth, rounder faces and almond shaped eyes with double eyelids. They prefer rice-based foods rather than wheat-based foods. However, generally speaking, Chryntines usually have long, straight black hair. They are known for their lean, slim bodies. Chryntines tend to have fair, pale skin that easily sunburns and rarely tans. They usually have issues with the neck, back and joints.
Dan’Yerven:
Genetically speaking, Dan’Yerven males and females tend to build muscles much faster compared to most ethnic groups. They tend to become much “fuller” in body type, taller in height and burn calories faster than other ethnic groups. However, this depends on the individual. Dan'Yerven females, depending on their diet, will to gain weight quicker around the gluteus maximus, thighs and stomach. Dan'Yerven males, depending on their diet, tend to gain weight mostly around the stomach. Most Dan'Yervens tend to have broader and fuller facial features. Their eyes are usually almond shaped. The common eye colors of the Dan'Yerven are: Amber, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Chestnut, Hazel and Chocolate. Dan'Yervens have rich light to dark brown skin; which usually never burns or tans. Their hair color tends to be black, dark or light brown, chestnut, chocolate, rust, or a mixture of browns and occasionally blond. Dan'Yervens tend to have issues with mostly their joints, hips, knees and back.
Zhirine:
Zhirine females have seemingly very delicate, small frames and tend not to gain muscle easily compared to the other ethnic groups. Zhirine males tend to gain muscles quickly in the arms first, then the core and sides. However, their legs tend stay somewhat slim. Zhirine females’ faces tend to resemble finely crafted dolls. Both Zhirine males and females tend have to square-like heads and full cheeks with round, small eyes and small ears. Zhirine people age a tad quicker. They usually have pale, sometimes freckled skin. Common eye colors among the Zhirine are: Variations of Blue, Green, Hazel and Gray. The common hair colors among Zhirines are: Red, Light Chestnut and Blond. Their skin sunburns easily and rarely tans. Since most designers consider Zhirine bodies elegant, they are commonly seen as models. Zhirines usually have issues with pregnancy, lungs and joints.
Rahin’Saoians:
The Rahin’Saoians females, like Zhirine females, have seemingly very delicate frames. They are, however, more flexible. Rahin’Saoian females tend to build strength quicker in the arms and legs. Rahin’Saoian males tend to become heftier than males in other ethnic groups. They are not as flexible as their female counterparts but they are strong and dexterous. Both male and female Rahin’Saoians usually have issues involving the spine, lower back and knees. Rahin’Saoians tend to have light eyes that are gray, pale blue, sea green, and gold. They have rather small and straight noses, noticeable round cheekbones and light, even pale skin which sunburns easily and rarely tans.
Bliatisians:
Bliatisians, In general, have warm colored skin that tans and rarely burns, deep rich brown to black hair and rich brown eyes. Their eyes are generally large and almond-shaped with thick dark lashes. Their mouths are generally not small or pinched, but wider with full lips. The face shapes range from round and full-cheeked to thin and aristocratic. They are not known for being very tall. However, Bliatisian males tend to build upper strength quicker and are also very dexterous. Bliatisian females are known to have booming voices and almost vase like bodies. They usually have issues with the intestines and hips.
Le’Lochelyains:
Le’Lochelyains have two common facial structures. Northern Le’Lochelyains tend to have a longer, oval facial structure with wider and larger eyes, and more pronounced noses. Southern Le’Lochelyains people tend to have flatter faces with higher and squarer cheekbones, and smaller eyes with single eyelids (opposed to double). Northern Le’Lochelyains tends to have pale, mocha skin. Southern Le’Lochelyains tends to have tanner, mocha skin. In general, Le’Lochelyains grow extremely long, straight hair that is usually very dark in color. It's rare to see a Le’Lochelyain with natural light brown, blond or red hair. The females are usually known for their stringy, hypnotizing singing voices. The males are known for being very creative craftsmen. Le’Lochelyain males are usually lean and not likely to gain muscle very easily. Le’Lochelyains females gain little to none muscle strength. They're prone to issues with the eyes, shoulders and knees.
Rarperians:
Rarperians are people of mixed ethnicity. Facial and bone structure varies. Rarperians tend to have little to no health issues. The word “Rarperian” is just a quicker way of stating that the ethnicity of this particular individual is mixed. The word is not internationally recognized. Meaning, in some places you would mark and/or write “Rarperian” on forms. While in other places, you would have to write and/or mark your ethnicities completely. The word “Rarperian” started as a slang to describe someone of diverse origin. In some places it’s used to “save time” when filling out paperwork.
Avelaelies:
Avelaelies are persons of unknown origin. In other words being former slang to describe a “foreigner”. Avelaelies are usually people who traveled from other countries to live or visit Lorilqua. They are known and marked as “Avelaelies” until they legally register their information to become citizens. There are two registrations, one while entering Lorilqua. The first registration form is for the government, established by King and Queen Quintanilla, for processing. The second registration is received after the Avelael is processed. On the second form, they are allowed to choose any kingdom for residence. The first registration form takes about a month or two to process. So Avelaelies are given trial citizenship (with restrictions) and temporary residence within the Naldraenth Kingdom where registration processing is done. The second form takes about two weeks to process, assuming if the kingdom(s) of choice are willing to accept them. Kingdoms Naldraenth, Neigiquial and Isaliaqin are popular choices and usually always accepting of Avelael. When accepted to the kingdom of choice, a residence is reserved for the Avelael.
The size and location of the residence varies on the information provided on the forms. For example: If the Avelael marked that they have children and/or pregnant, their residence is likely to have multiple bedrooms/bathrooms. They would be placed within a location where there are more families with children living. After both registrations are completed, Avelaelies are given documentation then fingerprinted after and before moving. Once granted full citizenship they’re protected equally under the law and are able to apply for public services if qualified.

Spoiler: The Kingdom NaldraenthThe Kingdom Naldraenth: Incomplete!
Naldraenth is the vast kingdom in which your character will start and most likely live and/or work.
Naldraenth covers miles worth of land - surrounded by woodland, forest high & low mountains, and grassy hills and plains. The soil is rich and full of nutrients, ideal for framing and gardening. Naldraenth experiences all types of weather during the changing seasons (snow, rain, etc) unlike Neigiquial and Isaliaqin. Naldraenth closely neighbors Neigiquial, Rakranor and Oi’Aperild. Neigiquial also neighbors a giant portion of land that has yet to be explored.
Common Exports:
Yellowtails, Amberjacks, Striped Jacks, Puffers, Red, Black and Sliver Beams, Scorpion fish, Bastard Hulibuts, Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Steelheads, Sharks, Squids and Carp. Grains, Beans, Potatoes, Beats, Corn, Carrots, Plums, Cotton, Indigo, Blueberries, Strawberries, Pawpaws, Sweet Potatoes, Eggplant, Asparagus, Cucumbers, Onions, Paprika, Green Pepper, Spinach, Lettuces, Garlic, Mushrooms, White Radishes, Apples, Pears, Melons, Grapefruit, Lemons and Grapes. Silk, Wool and Milk. Pork, Poultry and Beef.
Common Imports:
Common Housing of Naldraenth:
Studio Apartments - (also known as: Studio Flats, Bachelor Apartments or Efficiency Apartments). They’re suites with a single room that doubles as living/sitting room and bedroom, with a kitchenette and bath squeezed in off to one side. The unit is designed for a single occupant or possibly a couple. Studio styled apartments tend to be the smallest apartments with the lowest rent in a given area, usually ranging around 300 to 450 square feet in Naldraenth. Size and style varies from kingdom to kingdom. Studio apartments are popular amongst the youth (primarily persons of ages 20 to 24). University students are more than likely to request a Studio. To live in a studio in Naldraenth, persons must be at least 18 years of age or older. Rules and regulations vary place to place. However, most studio apartments disallow certain pets such as cats and dogs.
Tower Blocks - (also known as: high-rises, apartment towers, offices towers, apartment blocks, or block of flats). Not all tower blocks in Naldraenth are used for housing the common people. Some tower blocks are office buildings or hotels. High-rise buildings became possible with the invention of the elevator (lift) and cheaper, more abundant building materials. The materials used for the structural system of high-rise buildings are reinforced concrete and steel. Most Naldraenth style skyscrapers have a steel frame, while residential blocks are usually constructed out of concrete. They have become a distinguished form of housing accommodation in virtually all densely populated urban areas around Naldraenth. Tower blocks are only commonly seen in Naldraenth. The apartments are one or more bedrooms/bathrooms. Design varies place to place. The rent is expensive, but tower blocks are popular amongst smaller families.
Terraced houses - (also known as: row house, linked house or townhouse). This is a style of housing where (generally) identical individual houses are conjoined into rows - a line of houses that touch directly side to side. They’re built with shared party walls between dwellings whose uniform fronts and uniform height created an ensemble that is more stylish. Some terraced houses are built side-to-side and back-to-back. Back-to-back houses are a form of terraced house in which two houses share a rear wall. Terraced houses are commonly seen in Naldraenth towns than villages and cities. A terraced house is usually about two to three stories high. Sometimes even four stories. They can be brought and occupied by one family or rented out to multiple families. Most terraced houses of Naldraenth are made from the same materials you’ll see in a tower block. Some are made from different materials, such as brick and stone. Usually, this depends on the neighboring city.
Farmhouses - Farmhouse is a general term for the main house of a farm. It is a type of building or house, which serves a residential purpose in a rural or agricultural setting. Most often, the surrounding environment will be a farm. Many farmhouses are shaped like a T. The perpendicular section is referred to as the ell. Farmhouses are commonly spotted few miles away from villages.
Low-rise Buildings - Low-rise apartments sometimes offer more privacy and negotiability of rent and utilities than high-rise apartments, although they may have fewer amenities and less flexibility with leases. It is also easier to put out fires in low-rise buildings. Low-rises can, in some cities, be seen as less luxurious than high-rises. These buildings are the "in-betweens" or "just rights" of housing. Low-rises are popular amongst the working class.
The villages in Naldraenth are compact settlements of houses, smaller in size than a town, and generally based on agriculture or, in some areas, mining quarrying or sea fishing. The houses are mostly made of stone, brick and wood. Sometimes, but rarely, using iron or steel for the frame.
Towns, by definition, are bigger than a village but smaller than a city. The towns in Naldraenth are usually painted colorfully, commonly in shades of red, green, blue and yellow.
In Naldraenth minor cities are branches of the major cities. When there is not enough residential and community lots, a request is submitted to City Hall to construct another branch. Minor Cites are sometime called, “Offspring”, “Branches” or “Arks”.
Major Cites:
Bidel – Is located northwest of Naldraenth, close to the Rakranor boarder. Because it’s located closely to Rakranor, a massive rainforest, Bidel experiences much rainfall. During the summers Bidel becomes unbearably hot and humid. Neighboring towns, villages and/or cities are: Rundi and Maklai. Neighboring bodies of water: Copper Sea. Because Bidel is closet to Copper Sea, many people there specialize in seafood cuisine, sailing and fishing. There are exactly ten housing districts in Bidel. Districts 1, 4, 6 and 8 are strictly high-rises. Districts 2, 3 and 5 are strictly low-rises. Districts 7, 9 and 10 are a mixture of low-rise and high-rise buildings. The city is shaped like a pentagon, like many of the major cities of Naldraenth. The outer districts are where markets and businesses are located. The housing districts are located closer the center of the city. They surround the tallest building structures in Bidel being Bidel's City Hall. Bidel’s City Hall is four towers, all different heights, linked together by bridges. At the top of the tallest tower is a red light that blinks during the night. This light is mostly to guide lost travelers, especially those who travel via air balloon or aircraft.
