Ahhh, a wonderfully detailed world it seems, should be quite enjoyable to create a character to exist within and interact with it. I do have a couple of questions that I'd appreciate some help with, if you wouldn't mind.

How prevalent is magic in the setting? Do only the Witches have it or are they just the best at it? Are there any 'mundane' brands of magic like soothsayers and diviners who can read the future with greater accuracy than dumb luck would indicate? or healers and alchemists who use chemistry or holistic approaches in technically impossible manners for greater results? How about special items created with magical materials like solidified fire or distilled moonlight (given fancy names, of course). What about enchanted items that have been imbued with magical power, like an amulet of vanity that keeps the wearer's hair and fingernails from growing or being shortened beyond an ideal point, etc. How common would such devices be, both in terms of how many are there/how likely someone is to have one... and in terms of how would the populace react to seeing one, be it fear and superstition, greed and selfish plotting, admiration and simple envy, and so on.

You say that elves have a connection with Nature, but clarify that isn't magic... but I would posit that is magic. Maybe not showy sorcery or spellcasting, but it is still certainly a magical, supernatural ability. Are they any other such supernatural abilities? Can/do dwarves have a connection with stone or the earth to help them in shaping tunnels or fortifications? How about Lutharians and yarn? (I kid~)

What are your races like? If we're going to come up with a comprehensive background we need to understand the situation and society within which a character would be raised. We all know the standard fantasy fare, but there's a whole TVTropes page devoted to the ways that some authors simply aren't content with that. Your version of elves certainly... looks different, but what about the other traits? Are they unaging and graceful with superb long-range vision? Cat eyes would imply better nightvision and movement perception.

How about dwarves? Are they alcohol-chugging, beard-honoring, Scottish-accented dwarves with longer lives than humans but not necessarily immortality like elves? Do they have any fancy anachronistic steampunk/clockwork technology, or magitech combinations of arcane and scientific, or do they eschew magic and fancy-schmancy contraptions altogether?

And Lutharians... what are they like? Are we talking Japanese anime catgirl(/guy) with only ears and a tail and maybe fangs, or furries with all the above plus fur everywhere and maybe cat eyes, or dangerously furries with full-out muzzles and paws? The whole Crigok/Lutharian thing reminds me of Argonians/Khajiit, but I'm assuming the Lutharians aren't as oversized as Crigoks are. I guess they could be though. They could also run around on all fours, it's just a matter of how humanlike they are.

Um... I think there was more, but that'll probably do for now. Tis way past my bedtime. Thanks in advance for any assistance- I think this setting has a lot of potential and I love that your standards are high... but expecting a lot from your players means that you have to give them a lot to work with, so it's a give and take kind of thing.

Curly, you can't deny members purely on the basis that they are new. You can ask for people to write a minimum post length, or to use correct spelling and grammar though.

And remember, if you’re looking for more players, don’t forget to make use of all the features that RPA has to offer. You can submit your game to the Roleplaying Games Directory here and if you post here, you can ask the Staff to advertise your roleplay in their signatures.

Most importantly, make sure to apply for Roleplay of the Week!

I'd like to colour myself interested here, however I am just about to nip off to work and thus will draw out some more detailed character ideas throughout the day for you. I would also like to see the above questions answered. After-all, more information cannot hurt.

Will give you more later today. *trudges off to work in the rain... again*
"I was once asked, "What is more influential to a serviceman's survival, the Training, the Fitness or the Planning?" At the time I said all three, however now I know it was neither. There is no greater influence on a soldier's will to survive than their country, their friends, their family."

If you find THIS at all interesting. Please give me a shout... Would love to find someone to RP with in this setting.

Oh goodness, first thing I'm seeing this morning.. Totally enjoy that you're interested enough to ask .

---Magic. It isn't very prevalent at all, but can be found in different ways/shapes//forms. Magic users are not common place, but illusionists and pharmacists are. It's really a matter of the depth the RP gets into, because I'm not opposed to running into an "oracle" or "gifted healer". Under certain conditions, characters can be allowed these abilities -- to make for a more interesting RP.
And the objects you mentioned, they can be found. But they would have to be an heirloom of the family, or something gifted to them by Nazirate (which means a bargain would have been made)

---Elves. In the world setting, it *technically* is Magic. But it isn't something controlled by "mana" or what have you, rather a spiritual connection to Nature itself. No other races share any kin abilities.

---Dwarves. The cliche version you've just described is accurate.

---Lutharians. Human cats, meaning muzzle and everything. Things that MAY not be taken from that = they are built in "human" shape, standing erect on two legs, with the same curving and build as them. Their legs are, however, shaped like cat legs, with paws. Hands are human. (decided to add - Lutharians are an ancient race, with this they have the tendency to shift between their human hands to paws to move on all fours)

They are ALL immortal races, none of which breed often - EXCEPT humans.

I'll update and elaborate on these things in the initial post. Most of it just goes with implication, but I'll fix that.

    Le Update

--Added list and descriptions of the main cities of each Kingdom, as well as described the landscape. Will be adding the Corpse Sea and Black Forest info tomorrow.

--Info On It's Way: Adding a new race, Eldren, who basically worship Nazirate and her elders. Making an actual map of the continents for effectiveness. Some background info on Nazirate, and the battle of Eldrain Isle and Kelamwen. Will also post Renalda's CS up within the week.

Ah this is good. I read the plot summary and saw it all in a very...movie trailer like way. I like that, it means that my imagination can work with it. I'm totally joining, all I'd need is a map since I'm a bit confused as to the placement of the Kingdoms and such.

The map will be up before the end of tonight*, I'll put a link to it in the Cities/Landscape section.
Just finished the banner and will be posting that!
Excited to see all characters in progress!

Tonight ---> I actually won't have it up until Sunday or Monday due to some technical problems. It may be up tomorrow if I can do a rough draft (for helpful mess) before I have to work. Soooorrrry!
