This concept intrigues me and I was hoping that I could join if you all aren't full? I can have my bio up in a bit. *fingers crossed* I really hope that it's not full because this concept is amazing.

Hmmm....I can start with two and perhaps as I get back into it I'll aim for higher? It's been years since I did roleplay and I'm excited to jump back in feet first. Anyway, I'm off on a tangent, pardon me. Two bios coming up in a bit. (Templar Assassin and Vampire on the side of Keurig's)

Name: Leonora “Nightshade” Stannis (also goes by Nora to companions)

    Age:
    26

    Race: Human

    Side:
    Templar

    Specialty: Assassin/ reformed thief

    Appearance:
She stands at a petite 5’ 1”, weighing a little over 100 pounds, making her perfect for sneaking and walking silently. Her dark blonde hair is always swept back from her face, pinned up and out of the way. When she does let it down it falls to her shoulder blades in soft waves. Her eyes are a dark brown, so dark they are nearly black, framed by long eyelashes. They always contain a glint of mischief, the last hint of her days as a thief.

Her face itself is very soft and sweet, like that of a child. The skin is pale, color only coming into her cheek after a kill or from the bite of cold. Her one scar is noticeable in direct sunlight, a gift from the man who had trained her from thief to assassin. It runs from her hairline down her cheek, to the curve of her jaw. She makes no attempt to hide it for it is part of who she has become.

Her garb is simple; a plain black tunic with black breeches, supple black leather boots, and a heavy belt around her hips. Even when she is forced to dress formally she wears this garb underneath should something dramatic happen in which she would need to make a quick getaway. If she does have to wear formal garb she settles on a simple red ball gown, one that her mother had made her many years ago. In her boots she keeps a sharpened dagger in each, along with a very small poisoned dagger disguised as a hair comb that she wears every day.

Personality: Leonora is very slow to anger, having learned patience picking peoples’ pockets on the streets. She speaks softly, giving good advice to those who will listen. She shows little to no affection towards most others around her, but finds a soft spot for those who are different from others, be it cripples, mythical beings, or those who are disfigured.

She also loves animals, particularly cats, and music as well, especially the fife. She is quick to laugh and quick to poke fun, with a sharp wit and a sharper tongue. Her one downfall is that she can push her sarcasm too far with the wrong people and it has led to many a confrontation. However, when she is on a mission Leonora is intent and fierce, becoming snappish towards anyone who dares interfere. A coldness comes into her being and she forgets everything and everyone except for that moment when she is about to bring her blade down into someone’s back or across their throat.

    Brief history:
Leonora grew up on the streets of Brilla-Ruse, her mother unable to support her and her father having died when she was a babe. While her mother did give her things when she could, from the age of seven onward Leonora learned for the most part to fend for herself. She slept in an alley way between two cottages during the winter to block the wind, and during the summer would sleep on the rooftops. She stole her first piece of bread not soon after her mother had put her on the streets and had gotten caught. From then on she had watched the cats that roamed the streets, learning how to sneak and move with silence. By the time she was fifteen she could pick any lock and pocket, could steal bread with twenty people all watching her, and moved with ease through silent houses at night, taking what meager valuables they had.

But soon after, while sleeping on a roof in the summer, a man came in the dead of night, tossing a net over her and taking her far from Brilla-Ruse to a place that she never learned the name of. There he began to train her as an assassin, calling her Nightshade as he did. For ten long years he tutored her, giving her the scar across her face when one night she spoke harshly towards him. After her training had been completed he turned her out to the world, whispering in her ear, “Your first and last ever mission will be to kill every Keurig like a shadow. Make them wonder who their true enemy is.” Then he closed the door behind her. Leonora returned to Brilla-Ruse and soon after joined the Templars.

Skills: An excellent sneak, pickpocket, and lock picker, Leonora prides herself on the fact that after ten years, her skills are still just as honed as they were back when she was fifteen. She is also talented in poisoning and with a bow and arrow.

Abilities: She has swift feet, making her nearly undetectable.

    Powers: None

Other: When it comes to a close hand-to-hand fight that is where she is weakest, lacking the strength. Instead she uses her agility and quick reflexes to avoid and escape. That being said, she does enjoy a battle of wits from time to time.

    Name: Jebediah Morrov (Jeb)

Age: 249 (looks as if he is 35)

    Race: Vampire

    Side: Keurig

    Specialty: Warrior

Appearance: Standing at a dominating 6’4”, Jebediah towers over his enemies. He is strongly built, having been a proficient warrior before he had been changed. He has shoulder length brown hair and in life his eyes had been a dark green. Now they are lifeless pits, completely black. His skin is pale, only growing rosy when he makes the choice to feed. With a long face and solemn eyes, the years show on his face not in wrinkles, but in sorrow.

For his day to day garb he wears a dark blue or green silk tunic with a fox fur cloak, lined with black silk on the inside. Although he feels no cold, he has had the cloak since he was a young man and intends to keep it as long as he can. When he goes to battle he wears a suit of black armor, made long ago by his talented blacksmith uncle. On the breast plate is the symbol of his father’s house; a snarling golden wild cat. He keeps a simple sword by his side, the blade always sharp and at the ready, as well as a bottle of blood should he be hurt in battle and unable to take the time to feed.

Personality: He is very loud and abrasive, quite the opposite of every other vampire he has encountered. He attempts to be friendly with most of the humans, but finds it difficult to maintain relationships with them once they see his teeth and his eyes. Always a friendly person (or vampire), he helps wherever he can, in whatever way he can. It is when he grows quiet and moody that the humans have learned to stay out of his way, for he is either hungry or lost in his memories.

Much as he was in life, Jebediah has a sense of honor and obedience, listening to orders and knowing to not question them. He always, as he did in life, enjoys the payment that he receives for every job he completes. Not greedy, but not very generous either, he prefers to help in favors and not in gold. He enjoys being in battle, loving the power that surges through him when he wields his sword or his teeth.

    Brief History:
Born 249 years ago to a highborn family fifty leagues north of Brilla-Ruse, he was the youngest of six children. From an early age he expressed an interest in becoming a warrior, training in the courtyard every morning before sunrise and every night before sunset with his older brother Bartimeus. He learned to love the sword, drawn to its sharp glistening edge and the way it would whistle when it passed through the air.

As time went by, wars began to break out. Jebediah was seventeen at the time when news of his brother Bartimeus’ cold-blooded murder by a group of rogues reached their household. His father devastated, Jebediah left home, vowing to avenge his brother’s death. He fought in many a battle, searching always for the bandits who killed his brother. Nearly twenty years had passed and he had grown into a fine warrior, hired most of the time as a mercenary for whichever side paid him the most gold. As he was out on one of his missions he came across a band of rogues, nearly thirty in number. In the firelight of their camp he caught glimpse of his brother’s great-sword, one that had been his father’s before it had been Bartimeus’.

Without thought he had attacked the camp, slaying everyone in his way, except for one. It was a little girl, cowering with the sword in her arms. Feeling sympathy in his heart, he kneeled down next to her, reaching out. After that he did not remember anything except for the black pools of her eyes.

Knowing he could never return to the house of his father, he began to travel the roads, searching for a purpose. He avoided the sunlight in the day, only traveling at night, for the sun made him weak. He fed only on those who he deemed corrupt and immoral; murderers, thieves, and the like. After waiting for nearly two hundred years, he finally found his place with the Keurig Organization, who took him in with open arms as long as he swore to kill anyone who stood in their way and tried to rise up. He agreed.

Skills: A proficient swordsman and a fair hand-to-hand fighter, Jebediah never backs down from a fight.

    Abilities:
With his vampirism he has become unnaturally fast and strong, being able to lift a cart with two oxen above his head and then proceed to run across a five hundred foot span in three eye blinks without disturbing the oxen. He also can heal much faster than a normal human, especially if he drinks blood.

Powers: He has only toyed with the power of mind-reading, practicing on the weaker minded, finding that those with stronger minds are harder for him to break into. He has the power to mesmerize those he speaks to by having them look in his eyes and speaking to them. It is how he obtains most of his prey.

    Other:
His weaknesses are that of any vampire; sunlight and lack of blood. He also has a soft spot for children, despite having been bitten by a child vampire. This has been used in the past as well, with enemy spies sending children to attempt to watch and follow his movements.
