After the courier freed the Mojave from Caesar's Legion and the NCR, there came a plague from the north that ravaged the Wasteland once more. An army of genetically and mechanically altered humans descended upon the inhabitants of the Mojave. A battle has been on going and the Courier was nowhere to be found. The last bastion of human rebellion against the attackers stands from the old NCR Mojave Station to the Old Ruins of Caesar's Camp. Time is running short as the invaders draw near, they are merciful to none and seek only to conquer. To kill. To destroy. They are Akkadians.

Name: Jake Rein
Age: 19
Race: Human (Hispanic)
Bio: A boy raised in the shadow of the NCR. His parents were mercenaries that worked alongside the NCR in fighting the Legion. From the time of his youth up to now he has been taught the correct way of treating guns and how to fight using anything from a metal pipe to a ballistic fist. After his parents died during a Raider attack on his town of Lower Cali, he sought out a life as a mercenary finding his was to the Mojave. After a rather nasty encounter with some Akkadians he passed out and woke up at the old Legion Camp.
Personality: Jake relies on his sense of humor to get him through his toughest times. Often he'll take a joke too far and end up in trouble, but once he's after a bounty his mind will focus on nothing but. He's been known to be a handful when angered.
Weapons: Combat Shotgun and an old Legion Gladius.
Exceptional skills: Jake finds it easy to spot enemies at a distance and can repair almost anything with something containing the parts for it. (Sensor perk and Jury Rigging)

Name: Clayton
Age: 32
Race: Human (White)
Appearance: Short brown hair, a shortish stubbly beard and a strong jawline. His travelling clothes consist of a weathered knee-long duster, battered jeans, pre-war cowboy boots, a red plaid shirt and the remnants of a combat armour suit's vest.
Bio: Clayton could be described as a vigilante. Technically, he's a bounty hunter, but often lets his sense of morality guide what jobs he takes and sometimes works for free if the target is that much of a shithead. His penchant for using energy weapons, rather than guns, means that he stands out a bit. To the point that the title “the Laser Cowboy” seems to follow him around, which he doesn't mind one bit. He's originally from far off to the east, in Texas, and has followed the money and the bad guys westwards. The news of the Akkadians has drawn him towards the Vegas region, since loads of mindless evil killing machines sounds exactly like his kind of place to be.
Personality: Clayton is jovial but reserved. He's friendly and diplomatic, but doesn't skimp on force if necessary. Even while being forceful, he still maintains this attitude. He often still offers targets terms of surrender while being shot at and returning fire.
Weapons: A pair of Wattz 1000 Laser Pistols and a simple combat knife.
Exceptional skills: Clayton knows nearly every facet of the operation of laser and plasma weaponry, being that he has to maintain his own weapons with nearly no help. He's also a crack shot with a pistol and a great negotiator.
