Geo power: Scelen’s geo ability is ice plain and simple. This ability directly relates to both the humidity in the air as well as her surroundings. Since you can not freeze or manipulate what is not there. Her abilities include being able to collect moisture from around her and then use that to form icy constructs hence manipulating the ice itself
(meaning creating ice crystals). Another ability is to freeze/ reduce the temperature of an object at will, this is normally done through touch unlike creating icy constructs. Since she is able to reduce the temperature of an object is it only natural she is able to return it to its previous state, so really she can remove or add colder temperatures. The last ability is being able to fire off rays of intense cold, much like how a dragon breathes fire she can breathe ice if she truly wanted. Due to her abilities she is able to effect a small environment
(like her dorm room) to great lengths.
Hybrid Type: Dragon
Hybrid abilities:
- Strength/durability due to the fact most dragons are normally well build in muscle this is normal however with the added amour of both her scales and of course her geo element her durability is far higher then most. This would make her an excellent athlete if she had any interest in that however. The strength is more so then your average hybrid and the greatest point of strength is in fact her tail which has some of her strongest muscles located in it much like any reptile.
- Self flight: This is obvious of course but since she does have wings these in emergencies of no vehicles can be used instead of her normal mode of transportation. Though this will eventually tire her she can travel for a good while without her bike.
- Dragon’s Eye: As many reptiles Dragons have many ways of seeing things as well as multiple eye lenses to help protect and make the organ more efficient. Because of this a Dragons eye can do amazing things. This ability includes, natural night vision, telescopic vision (because they were once flying predators) and thermal vision (Ability to see temperature differences in areas).
Appearance: Scelen is often half covered by her own geo abilities. Meaning her tail and wings are not normally that jagged and jaded as they appear but rather smooth and scaly much like that of a snake. The tuffs that appear to be hair on her head are actually ears, they are in fact fluffy and soft to the touch much like a rabbits but this is because instead of the scales that normally grown over them she has hair. She does have small horns that come out of her skull though they are nothing to marvel at it just small items just behind her ears. Scelen’s eyes are almost always silted pupils making them appear more snake like in nature and her hue is actually a icy blue matching her geo ability.
Often seen wearing a long white coat with black fur cuffs, collar and bottom edging; it also has a opening in the back to accommodate her wings easily. This is something she loves and will never part with. Scelen has porcelain white skin and her hair is styled in a messy short look with long bits that hang down from the sides of her face. This is a unique style that looks fairly good on her. As many white dragons her hair as well as scales are naturally a milky white color , her hair having more of a blue undertone and tint to it. Scelen stands in at about 5’8 rather tall for a girl but this is also due to her being a dragon hybrid after all. Her weight however will never be given as it is rude to ask a women her weight.
Your sky gear: Since she is in fact sixteen and able to drive something more then a mere child’s toy she does in fact have a specialized mode of transportation. Scelen drives a bike similar to what many people refer to as a crock rocket. When driving it she often leans forwards into the machine while letting her wings fold around her to create a small shell. This makes her more aerodynamic and this set up was specifically made for hybrids with wings since more bikes often have some form of shield to protect you from the wind velocity. Her bike is a beautiful electric blue color.
Personality: Despite her calm appearance Scelen is very instinct driven as many of her race. Most dragons look onto the future, worrying about political power; she does not worry as much about the future. While it is a concern she prefers to live her life day to day rather then plan out every aspect. That by no means equals she is not an intellectual she simply relies on instinct more. When you make your first impression on her she will truth her gut feeling on you until otherwise proved wrong. Scelen makes it a point to know any area she travels to it a habit in fact a small instinct from when dragons used to hunt for their prey. This was so they would know all the perfect hiding spots and such. Being a dragon she is often brutally honest, and never afraid to speak her mind if asked or disturbed; not caring what others think. Scelen also does not like others to be involved when they are not needed, for example if she has an issue with someone she will handle it alone. Despite the fact you may be her friend it is a pride thing as she is very prideful. Once last thing about Scelen she is not one to forget a grudge in fact she is able to remember it to the smallest detail when it comes to someone messing with her. This being said dragons are know to get back at people.
Biography: Scelen grew up in a rather strange household; her mother a brass dragon and her father a blue dragon. Her father being the intellectual and calm blue dragon he is actually became a doctor. Very knowledgeable and well off he works at a hospital in the sky city of Cinvindal about an hours trip from the school by vehicular transportation
(Meaning cars or bikes or buses). Scelen’s mother is a house maker often home taking care of things. The two fell in love when they were young and have had many hatchlings; six total to be exact
(4 girls and 2 boys). Each sibling is in fact younger then Scelen. Though out of all of them she is the only white dragon; there is a funny story about this.
Scelen herself actually grew up in the sky city of Cinvindal with her siblings. The city itself was very much like a small town the population of which was about three hundred in total. It had wonderful hill’s and glorious lakes that stayed on the floating land. Every year it would bloom with various colored vegetation. Due to the small nature of the town it is actually considered a retreat spot having spa’s and small unique shops. People who want to relax in a less complicated life come and stay for a week.
At home her parents showed her all the love and affection of the others, but why was she different. Why was she a white dragon unlike her siblings? To this day her parents have never told her the true reason; and in fact Scelen often speculates this. Pondering if she was adopted, was she a child of another less fortunate family member? Regardless she knows how much her family cares. All in all however her childhood was fairly normal for a dragon hybrid. No issue to speak of within the workings of her home; her younger siblings love and adore her.
Scelen is often looked up to by her younger siblings. Since this is the case she does try to be less reckless when following her instincts around them, often showing a very compassionate mothering nature to her younger sisters and brothers. In truth she loves children and they seem to adore her, this may be because she is real with them. Not willing to talk down to them or put on fake smiles but she treats them like little people.
Upon turning sixteen her parents offered her the opportunity to get used to living a while away from home. This was to prepare her for the hash world when she made her pilgrimage. The couple said they had signed her up for a new and wonderful highschool. Once that was only an hour away by vehicle so she could come home if she truly needed; even visit easily as her parents would miss her strange antics.
Scelen thought this over an in fact she chose to try and do so, heading off to the school since her instincts said this would ne a new and exciting experience. Her parents who had over time learned how to deal with their odd child knew her decision would most likely be yes. That is when they took her outside and showed Scelen her new motorcycle, aerodynamic fast and very stable. ‘Best of the line for my baby girl’ her father said her face brimming with a smile. The school started in a week leaving Scelen to get ready and pack thus putting us where our story begins.
Others: The reason Seclen is a freshmen at sixteen is that when she was around thirteen she was struck with her shedding phase. Meaning this is a phase every dragon must go through in order to hit puberty. Unlike others however in dragons their own immune system attacks itself as their body changes, thus causing them to get extremely ill. Their body changes as do their scales and fixtures. Every change instigates the illness; this is why dragons have man young as the weaker ones will not often survive the changes. This is to eliminate bad genes, making sure that the dragons left will be true of their name sake. Her parents worried as her change lasted nearly two years about 50% longer then a normal one for a female white dragon, at one point she was even placed in isolation. Quarantined so she would not catch anything with her compromised immune system, this ended however when she was fifteen. The school year had already started so she could not enter just yet but her parents promised her that when the new school year started she would be in for a surprise.[/QUOTE]
