[R] The Fast and the Furious (OOC)

It was a crisp night in the big city of L.A. The lights all began to turn out in homes all across the cities as people laid down to rest before the long drauling next day dawned. It was relitivly peaceful, except for the low roar of vehicles at the Wal-Mart parking lot. What started out as a small get together of friends and vehicles, to a large get together with over 30 vehicles. They all ranged from pretty low end tuners and old muscle cars, nothing too valuable. The racing was only very mild, block off a road for around an hour, or less depending on when the cops came, and race to the finish for the small buy in price totalling no more than $500! It was all fine and dandy until one day, that day that changed us all, the day that Porsche rolled in...

Everyone, this RP is rated R (restricted) For consuming alchohol, sexual content, potential death, and broken hearts.

Keep in mind I want this to feel real, I've got a base idea for story, but I want it to move on with what the characters feel they want to do. I will push it in certain directions if I feel it's becoming lost though, so don't worry

In the begining I do want people to only choose cars that aren't special or crazy in any way. The limit being cars you can find for under 10k. For example, like a '99 Honda Civic, or if you wanted muscle an old Charger R/T but it's really old and not shiny looking, high miles etc not a high resale value. Basically you'd have to find a picture of the vehicle and the quality it's in. Any form of engine mods/body mods etc in the vehicle must be within your price range.

If you would like to push the boundaries and do something a bit crazier, remember I will balance it all out eventually. The farther you push the farther I'll go with balancing. My advice, DON'T chose a Ferrari or equal!!

I'm hoping everyone will create characters in the late teens to mid twenties (18-26). It's also required to state what your day job is, so that we know what your price range is for parts etc also no millionairs thats just unfun.

This is a very realistic RP, so now you can't have super human reflexes. One bad turn and maybe you'll end up in a wall I don't know. If you are being stupid I will get you for it, your character may end up in hospital, jail, or dead, that's up to how dumb you wish to be. Not to say that a character ending up in hospital can't be interesting especially if a gang war breaks out because of it. Talk to me ahead of writing up a post and I'll work with you to make the store get even more interesting in that respect if you'd like to cause serious injury or whatever could happen. Depending on the situtaion, if I deem a post too unrealistic, I'll give you a warning to change it

Try and write as much as you can!! I love sitting down and reading through all the amazing posts like it's a movie in my mind. But if you can't write a lot, then at least a Paragraph, I'm being very generous with that...

If you'd like to have a relationship then have a relationship, but make it feel like it's real. Pretend that you are the character you made, become attached

The last thing I would like to add, is in this RP yes there is cars and yes there is racing, but the main purpose of the RP is the characters and how they evolve, change and grow from how they were before to where they are now. It's like comparing The Walking Dead tv show to Resident evil, both have zombies, but The Walking Dead focuses more on the character growth where as Resident evil is all about killing zombies.

Discription: Shoulder length strawberry blond hair, her eyes eyes are brown, but they look orange. She wears a purple dress and a blue beret.

Day Job: She helps at her best friends garage.

History: She was born in Ukraine, after her father, an air force pilot, got transfered to the US, and her mother who was a Ukrainian diplomat also got transfered to the Ukrainian Embasy in Washington DC when the she was 6 she had grown up in the US. When she was nine Tamika was in a car accident with her mum. They both survived. Her mum went through intensive rehab and went from being wheelchair bound for the rest of her life to being able to walk again. Tamika was slightly luckyer, only getting a few cuts and bruises. But the accident made her mute, she has been unable to talk ever since that day. She talks using some sign language and writing notes. She was protected by her twin sister during school. She has since moved in with a couple of old school mates when she was 18 and worked with them, one of them is her occasional lover.

Anything else you wish to add: She never used to bother with racing, as she had a fear of driving from the memories of her accident, which was, ironically, caused by a street racer trying to escape from the cops. She can drive a car normally but when it comes to races she sits them out but recently she has found she has to race. She is, as far as anyone knows, a lesbian.
