Name: Kesuk
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Place of Birth: Northern Water Tribe
Element(s)/Weapon: Water, Knife
Appearance:
Personality: Kesuk is still new to Republic City, having only moved there just a year ago. He's polite, humble, and just a little bit shy. Kesuk's optimism is seemingly limitless, and when it comes to fighting, he prefers to heal rather than to engage the enemy head-on. However, his passion for Pro Bending brought him to the big city, and he is ambitious and set on becoming a part of a local team.
Bio: Kesuk was born in the Northern Water Tribe sixteen years ago, and is three years younger than his prodigious sister, Hana. Where Hana excelled in almost all categories of waterbending and adored being in everyone's sight, Kesuk was timid and rather happy when not in the spotlight. However, Kesuk opened up to one of the local healers and began to focus more on the spiritual and helpful side of the element, rather than the flashy side his sister favored.
At the age of fourteen, he became an apprentice to the healer, and it was through healing wounds that he first heard about Pro Bending. Strangely enough, the eternal pacifist took an interest in the sport, and he started to practice his own fighting techniques with water, based on the structure of healing waterbending.
When Kesuk turned sixteen, he turned down the offer to work as a full-time healer, instead packing a bag and heading for Republic City. He didn't tell his parents, as he knew his mother would worry constantly, so he bought the family a radio and told them to tune into the Pro Bending matches whenever they were on to listen for his name. Hana read the note before Kesuk had a chance to leave, and she corned her little brother, giving him a hug and a hunting knife, telling him to use it instead of waterbending if he wanted to survive in the big city. As a sign of gratitude, Kesuk continues to write letters home to her, telling her about Republic City.
So far, he lives in a tiny apartment with a quiet non-bender in a run-down section of the city, run by the Triple Threat Triad.
